We got up at 7:00 - today was an EMH morning at MGM. My original plan was we'd go there and get some autographs and then head right to the MK for opening!
We got to MGM - but there were no charachters! We were disappointed, but got on Star Tours instead. I overhear a woman on the ride saying that the fast passes for Soarin' were usually gone in the early afternoon, so we decided to head over to EPCOT for the opening.
We went right to Soarin', and my daughter wanted to wait in the Stand-by line instead of getting a fast pass. The wait wasn't bad - and we both loved the ride! We then headed out and went right to the MK!
We got there about 10:15 - 3 parks in 2 hours 15 minutes, kinda crazy! We got a fast pass for Space Mountain and rode Astro Orbiter (one of her favorites). Got a smoothy and went on Space Mountain. We then rode the train to Frontierland and got a fast pass for BTMRR and went in the stand-by line for Splash Mountain - which wasn't too bad yet. We were hungry, so we ate at Pecos Bills (love it) and then went on Pirates. We then rode BTMRR, and got another fast pass for it. We picked up some earrings and a necklace at the Splash Mountain store, and went to the Enchanted Tiki Room. We then rode the Magic Carpets, got Captain Hook's and Mr. Smee's autographs, and rode BTMRR again. We decided to head out, just as the parade was starting.
We took the monorail to the Contemporary and made reservations at Chef Mickey's for 5:00. We decided to pool-hop, and swam at the Contemporary (one of my favorite hotels). We got cleaned up and sat down at Chef Mickey's a little after 5. Got the 2 other autographs we had been missing - Mickey and Donald -ate a lot and headed out.
MK was closing at 7:00 for grad night, and it was about 6:30. My daughter wanted to hit Test Track one more time, so we went to EPCOT. Again there were no fast passes, and the lines were huge, so we walked around a little and headed over to the hotel we were staying at by the airport - the Hilton Garden Inn (we had an 8:00am flight on Sunday the 30th).
Great last day in the parks!
