4 day cruise - Character Breakfast?

Hi all,
My wife and I are planning our 1st Disney Cruise and have read a lot on this board but still have questions.

For the sake of others who may come after with the same or similar questions, we'll post them as seperate threads as we come up with them.

We were talking over dining rotation tonight and were wondering if there was a Character Breakfast on board. I seem to recall seeing on one thread that you are assigned your character breakfast on the morning after Animators Pallatte. Is this correct? How do breakfasts and lunches work? Are several restaurants open as buffetts and you just find one with open tables (no seating times, assignments, etc.)

Sorry - there are no character breakfasts on the 4 day cruises. Only on the 7 day. Then it is a sea day after Animators Palette.


As for breakfast and lunch you have a number of options.

Breakfast can be sit down in Triton's/Lumiere's or buffet up at Beach Blanket/Topsiders. I think there might be a buffet in Parrot Cay as well. Not sure.

Lunch can be sit down in Triton's/Lumiere's, buffet at Beach Blaket/Topsiders, buffet in Parrot Cay, or you can pick up pizza, burgers, chicken fingers etc up on deck 9 by the pools.
