4 become 10: Day 8 Animal Kingdom

Friday 30th September

Today we had a lazy morning around the pool. Dad had a terrible bite on his leg and a CM told him it looked like a spider bite. He was in a bit of pain with it, so him and Mam decided to stay around the pool and not come to AK with the rest of us.

We decided to head to AK at lunchtime, so that we could again eat in Yak and Yetti counter service....yum

After food we made a decision to head to see the Lion King.....a firm favourite of mine and my sisters....she'll kill me but she cries everytime she watches it

After the Lion King, Some of us headed to Rafikies Planet Watch, we have never done this before and I prommised Moli that we could go this time.

I'm guessing this isn't a popular thing to do, as the train was empty and there was hardly anyone at the other end.

The characters didn't have any queue's and we have never seen any of these three before.

We then headed out to the affection section....

The donkey started eyoring as my niece went to see them....she jumpped a mile, it was so funny to watch.

We then went back inside and we bumped into a castmember with this......I have no idea what Animal it is, she did tell my niece but I can't remember.

We then got back on the train....just in time to walk up to a spot to watch the parade.

When the parade finished, we thought we would make a dash for Kali River Rapids, we thought the line would be short as the parade was on.....no such luck. It was a 40min wait.....we didn't wait, so we headed to Everest instead.

Both Me and My sister decided not to ride. While we were waiting we saw Jenny Poweil with a film crew.....at the time we couldn't remember her name and spent ages trying to think of it

We then headed back to AKL to change for dinner at Raglan Road

We love Raglan Road, the food is stunning

and....the best bread and butter pudding....ever....we got a disney cook book with this recipie....I've made it and it was lovely but not as good as Raglan Roads

I'm hoping to make DD some dresses but I have only ever made a pillow case 11 years ago at school!

Did you already have some experience with making dresses/clothes? did you find it really easy?

Would you believe it...before our 2009 trip, I couldn't sew a button on but I got inspired by the Dis boutiquers on here....I started with a pillow case dress and just went from there.....I love www.youcanmakethis.com.....Carla C patterns are so easy, you download them once you have paid.

She is only one at the moment but will be 2 and half when we (hope to) go to WDW! X
