Funny that you mention that. We are booked for a 5 nt over Easter break. It's $3000 for the cruise and probably $2000 for airfare for 4 of us since that's peak time. So I can pay $5000 for a 5 nt cruise or $5100 for an 8 nt cruise and not have to stress about when to buy flights, etc.
It's all the same in the end, just the matter of who you send your $ to.

I just spoke to my DH and he said, just do it. Call and book something and we'll talk about it over the weekend - I'm just hoping that they'll be some good rates left.

We've never done Disney - plus love to get to Castaway Cay --- We don't have to do PC if we don't want too - but I'm sure we will.

As for Nassau, Atlantis would be a good option for us - as we've wanted to do that..

I just might take the plunge, we don't have to make final payment till 2012 and I can pay month to month.. We just don't do any holiday vacations this year... i'll hold off and do this instead.

Talking about it and reading about it sure helps.. Now if I just could get an idea of what the costs might be tomorrow LOL

We were quoted $2518 for a category 9D down on deck 1 for 2 adults. We were looking for 2 connecting cabins, so the total would have been $5036. We passed on that "opportunity" and will look at either the Carnival Canada itineraries when they are announced or something else over the same week. Those fares cannot be justified in my view. Sorry, DCL.
