4/30/09 Wonder Cruise Anyone?

I know that's right! we're leaving on Tues. to spend a couple days at the hotel and maybe the beach before the cruise.

So it is Thursday night. What will you be doing next week at this time?

I am hoping to be eating a yummy appetizer at dinner. Hoping my children are in much better spirits than they were today. Praying that they sprinkle some "good behavior" pixie dust on them when they walk through the ears to board the Wonder

I'm just hoping my DS8 and DD10 don't fight the way they normally do here at home. I've threatened to throw 'em overboard if they do

It's our first cruise...hope I can figure all of this out since I'm a big planner and have NO TIME left to plan!

Let us know if you have any questions. I'm no expert but this is my 3rd cruise and I feel prepared for the first time - mostly thanks to this site.


By the way, I called today and found out what movies were playing. I don't have my list in front of me but it went something like this...

Disney's Earth

I am starting to pack and even got a pedicure today. So my feet are ready if nothing else!

It looks like scattered showers are predicted. That could mean just an hour or so of rain. The temps are actually cooler than here in Orlando but not by much. (Not like the hot NE

Wow! Our ticker says 1 DAY! It is just so nice to see.

The weather looks great. Yesterday was just gorgeous here in Orlando, although very breezy.

Is anyone nervous about traveling during this swine flu outbreak?

I hope everyone had a great time. My only complaint was that it was way too short. I even got to meet one of you .

Back to reality and lots of wash to do. I have 5 days until we jump back in the car and drive 18 hours to be with family.

We don't have as much wash to do as we anticipated as one of bags is missing. Turns out it is the one with my grandsons pillowcase that was autographed by the characters.

We used Disneys transportation and we have no luggage receipts and when they gave us the boarding passes the airline took them when we boarded and they asked for a boarding pass at the lost luggage office at Jetblue.

They said they have no way of knowing if the bag ever made it to the airport from Disney but they will do their best to track it down.

Best vacation ever. I don't want to be here at home. When we got home last nite, i was already looking into when we can book another one. We had the best servers, Lito and Bonieface were terrific, and i don't think our cruise would've been as wonderful as it was without them. My kids absolutely adored them.

Called DCL and the bag was sitting in their warehouse. Shipped it back to us this afternoon. Said the tag was missing on the bag.

The lady on the phone said they come off a lot but hardly anybody calls the cruiseline looking for the bag. She said they only hold them 90 days.

To be honest I was only worried about the pillowcase. The clothes could be easily replaced.
