4/3 tix upgrade to AP question, again

I know I have read the answer to these but since it didn't apply to my situation I don't recall the answers ....

If you get the 4/3 deal and decide to upgrade to AP

1) what is the exact date the AP begins? the first use of 4/3 tix or the date of the upgrade?

2)how many days do you have to upgrade past the last day of use?

3)can you upgrade at a Disney store or only onsite?

A friend is booked 4/3 over Easter break and might upgrade to AP so she can return next Easter break, which is about a week earlier next year.

1. The AP begins the date the MYW ticket was first used

2. Any upgrades must be done within 14 days of FIRST use (not last) of the ticket

3. Must be done onsite.

While the AP is supposed to be good for 365 days from the first date you used your tix, the CM I upgraded with actually used the actual day I upgraded as the expiration date.

You have to upgrade by the last day of your ticket I believe.

You have to upgrade onsite, they are unable to upgrades in a Disney Store. You can only purchase annual pass vouchers in the store.

Both posters are right but Mousefan has it right about having to upgrade within 14 days of first using your ticket, not that last day
