4/3 Pricing - Moderate

Hello - I am hoping someone can help me out and confirm the math (please)...

I have called booked through WDW the special of 4/3 at the Caribbean Beach for 7 nights starting on 12/20. It is for 2 adults and 1 child (9 yr).

All calculations are for Caribbean Beach, 8 days park hopper, Pirate Standard View Room and No insurance

• 
  4/3 Special: $2136.42
• Straight Pricing (no discount) online: $2766.56.
• Current Discount Online: $2307.38.
• Assumption:
  Price with no discount online for 4 nights, 5 days park-hopper the price would be the same as above ($2136.42) because of buy 4 get 3 free, instead it is: $1925.53.

Can someone help me with my math and what I did wrong? I am thrilled with this much discount, but am wondering if I was given more of a 5/2 discount instead of the 4/3.

I've seen where others have mentioned that you are charged for the most expensive nights in the resort... so if the rate changes mid trip that might be what the difference is that you are getting.

But now I'm not sure... as I ran the same thing, using the end of your week for the 4 nights paid, and got similar numbers to yours ($2,729.28 & $1,910.74). One price difference was the water view for the pirate room is $135 more for the 4 nights. Maybe it is something simple like that?

The bad thing is you can't check the 4/3 rates online. I'm wondering too if there might be taxes or something similar that you and I are both missing.

Thanks marcielm. I just think it is crazy math..

I just received my confirmation and it does say it is a Pirate Standard view. Also, I tried your idea for the most expensive nights (thanks for the idea!), and did the check-in on 12/23 -12/27 (again 4 nights with 5 days park hopper), and it is $1910.74

Hopefully the special will be online tomorrow or Thursday and I can see if I can get the math to work out.
