4/3 Deal for those traveling 1/10-1/18

Did anyone hapen to notice the new terms on the 4/3 offer?????

Our orginal offer sent 11/08/08:

"Buy 4 get 3 FREE!


Buy one of these 4-Night/4-Day vacation packages including accommodations and Theme Park tickets, and get 3 nights with tickets free! Travel on this package between 1/4/09–3/29/09 and also receive a $200 Disney Gift Card* free at check-in "

Notice, the Gift Card is included the whole time period.




Well, then I went on the WDW website to pay my balance and it now says:


"For stays most nights between 1/4 - 1/9, 1/19 - 3/26,
4/2 - 4/4, and 4/24 - 6/27/09
That's like paying $46 a night per person for this package
Total package savings of over $300
Offer valid for most Disney resorts and other lengths of stay. Book through December 20, 2008!
Plus, when you travel between
1/4 - 1/9 and 1/19 - 3/29/09, you'll also get a
$200 Disney Gift Card. "

Now the offer excludes1/10-1/18.
We are booked 1/10-1/17, so I hope the terms haven't changed when I go to check in. My confirmation has the Gift Card included, so hopefully they will honor it. Otherwise I would get a better deal with my orginal AP discount.

Very odd.

We are staying January 10-16/09. We booked via a Disney specialist and received the 4/3 deal. Could it be that the availability from the 10th to the 18th is now sold out, so the new website terms reflect that? Just a guess (though probably not a good one).

My trip is paid in full , and I have the confirmation to prove it. I can't think that they can go back on their offer now!!

From one Sarah to another - yes. We're going that week, we're paid in full, we got the 4/3 deal... my DH is running the marathon on the 11th and we're paying an upcharge for the Friday the 16th, which is part of MLK! I can see them excluding that week after a few of us got our bargains!

MLK Day is January 19. Discounts are typically blocked out or the prices are higher for that weekend.

Bring as much documentation as you can that says you were told you're entitled to the gift card.

Yep, I would guess that all of the rooms for that week marked for the deal are sold out. You should be OK!! (I know, not very reassuring, sorry)!

I just went in a did a pretend reservation for 1/18 - 1/25 and it applied the free nights and showed the gift card.

We check in on the 18th, so I was a bit nervous when I saw the dates too!

We are staying the 17th to the 24th and our reservation confirmation has the free gift card, so they better honor it. It was the only reason we did AKL versus a moderate.

I would love it if the people who said the gift card is on their reservation would report back and tell us if it was honored.

I just checked on disneys website and it even though those dates are not listed I went ahead and tried to book it and the dates were available to book with the deal and said it comes with the $200 gift card. So I dont know maybe it is a typo on the dates? I am starting to worry that it is going to be pretty busy down there, we usually go that week because it is so slow.

Has anyone called and asked - I don't know if we should call or just show up with the printed confirmation. The funny part is we were initially checking in the 19th, but because of the deal, moved it to the 18th - now it says starting the 19th

We tried to book a room during that period of time and there was nothing available for 8 days. We also offered to change rooms during that period and there was nothing! Maybe because they sold out?

We now are going the 19th through the 28th and have the $200 gift card. At least we are going. It is going to be more difficult at work but at least Disney can make me forget about that!

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the replies. I called back yesterday and talked to a very nice CM. He assured me that the giftcard was on my reservation. In fact, he knew nothing of those days being blacked out.
I think we'll all be fine .

We will be at WDW the week before from 1/4 to 1/10 and my print out of my reservation includes the gift card on it. So check your print out of your reservation it should also include a line for the gift card.
