YEah for newcomers and oldies but goodies too!!! PhillyJen I am very glad you all are going. My son is going to have tons of new friends to play with.

BLBCB - I am 35 (or will be on the cruise as its over my Birthday) and have had many, manya martini. My favorite is a martini made with Absolut Currant. My son is going to 4 on the cruise (his birthday too) and my daughter is off the charts for everyone going thus far - she will only be 15 months old.

PhillyJen - I am headed your way for work next month. I am coming into Voorhees, NJ (staying in Cherry Hill) over the weekend of the 18th of Sept.

I've gotta run for work. But I will be back later. Sorry I have been MIA from the thread. But good things happen when I check out for a little while.

WOO HOO!!!!! PhillyJen is in the house!!! I wondered if the cruise was going to happen or not, after all you did disappear from these boards for quite a while :confused3 But then again I have been absent lately too!!! I'm so glad to hear that you and HG Pat and Mermaid Patty and Mike are re-booked on the 4-29 MAGIC with us!!! :boat: This boat will be a rockin!!!

Castelgazer, thanks for keeping this thread going! :thewave: You have done a terrific job trying to keep us on the first page...and that's not easy when you are the only one posting! I promise that I am here to stay...the summer is winding down, the kids are getting ready to go back to school, life is getting less busy (well, not really) so I will hopefully have more time to veg out in front of the computer and get in on the action on this thread!

BLBCB...welcome aboard! You're in for a great time! We're a fun bunch!

Hydster...bummer about Vegas...watch out now because you might get a drunk dial or two from us!!! :drinking1

Okay Bowtie...if PhillyJen can pull it off then you should be able to pull it off too!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, by the way, can I hear everyone yell out a loud
262 MORE DAYS!!!!!!

WOW 262 days! That looks wonderful!

Can't wait until it get's under 200!

Julie - We just went to Las Vegas last weekend - we had a great time, but I am definitely not a gambler - pretty much stuck to slots. It was great to just lounge by the pull with a nice cold drink!

Gotta get back to work!

OHJulie

261 MORE DAYS!!!!!!

OhJulie - I am also not a gambler but LOVE going to Mohegan Sun - our local casino down in CT. Its awesome to go to the restaurants and the nightclubs and cabarets. Its one of my favorite things to do. I actually was just talking about it to DH today. We can't wait for my MIL to get back this fall from their summer home (she's our sitter) so we can go back down for a night out.

Bella&RellasMom - Your hubby did the lion's share of the bumping. I just want to know who is going to pack me a Petoskey Stone into their suitcase? HUnh, Hunh, HUnh????? Who's lugging it for me????

So for today, here are some stress relief photos:

Oh, and one last one just because.....

OH NO! I found us on page two...I guess it is my time to BUMP! After all, we can't be on page two when we only have
262 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Cosmic Girl - thanks for the bump, but I think you may have posted to the wrong thread. We all KNOW we are stopping in St. Thomas!!!!

Julie, you've got to start counting downwards - I think now its

260 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!
A little over 8 Months!!!

Since we are talking about snorkeling - one of my ultimate favorite things to do while cruising - here is a little mental siesta for today:

snorkel.jpg

Hey guys! I am very excited! I just rented some points from a friend here on the DIS and am booked into the VWL for the Thursday night before the cruise so I will be able to have a mini WDW vacation prior to the cruise! Friday night we will head over to Cocoa Beach for some crabs at Crab Heaven (my favorite crab shack) and then stay at our condo so we can get to the port at the opening time on Saturday.

What was I thinking...I know that it is only
260 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that my kids must have sucked all of my brain cells out of my head this summer!!!!!

Before children: I was thankful for the opportunity to obtain a college education and have a higher quality of life than my ancestors. After children: I am thankful to finish a complete thought without being interrupted.

I just wanted to say hi and that you guys seem to have a lot of fun! My mom are First Time Cruisers and are going on the 7 day Eastern on 04/29/2006! I can't wait...Can I join this party??

260 days seems way to long to me...why can't it be here quicker!

Amy

Grumpy - Welcome aboard, glad to have you join! :wave2:

castlegazer - I love the pictures! believe it or not I've never been snorkeling. I am really looking forward to going on St. John - have you been snorkeling there?

OHJulie

Come join the fun Amy!!!!! :cool1: Another New Englander is always a welcome addition to any party!!!! So its your Mom and you travelling? Ask any questions you need ot ask - most of these guys have been on other Disney Cruises and I have been on several other cruise lines.

OhJulie - Snorkeling is a great way to experience a little of what scuba divers experience. I think its just heaven and get all lost in time when I do it. I can sit for hours just watching the fish. I have snorkeled on both ports for this cruise. We did the St. John Eco-Hike on our Honeymoon. IT WAS AMAZING!!! By far the best excursion ever! It gets you into one of the most beautiful beaches on St. John - aptly named Honeymoon Beach (which is where we snorkeled) and then its gets you a pass to get into the grounds of Caneel Bay - the former Rockefeller resort, now just asuper exclusive resort on St. John. You also get to hike the National Forest and see how the island has a desert side and a rain forest side. It was very, very cool. You hike the old sugar trails that the slaves used and get to understand some of the history of the island.

We are desperate to go back to Honeymoon Beach - there are trails that are easy to get to it (see this web site: http://www.vinow.com/stjohn/beaches_stj/ and http://www.usvi.net/usvi/stjohn/attractions/attractions.php this site has a great map of the park) - but we don't think we will be able to do it with my daughter being so young and last trip through we couldn't go because I was 22 weeks pregnant. Flounders closes by 1pm so I don't think we can get there after customs and get back in time and I don't think she should come with us - my son maybe, but not a 15 month old. So we will probably just do the Coral World and Coki Beach on St. Thomas with the kids.

On St. Maarten we did the Golden Eagle Catamaran last trip - now that was a BOOZE CRUISE! Totally awesome fun!!! HOT GUYS! We won't be doing it again simply because we want to actually get around the island and go over to the French side this trip. BY doing the Catamaran tour we did great snorkeling and a deserted island, had some time in Phillipsburg, but really didn't get to explore the island at all.

Wow, this is freaking awesome, Welcome to all the Newbies, do you think we can keep this up for 259 days? Speaking of 259 how about,52 Days until Vegas

83 Days Until Disney

230 Days Until Vero Beach

259 Until Disney Cruise

Tom pirate:

Ok, OK - wait just a darn minute here!!!!

 It does look pretty cool when you see all of it in countdown form, doesn't it????

If it wasn't for the VEGAS trip thrown in there though, you'd definitely think we had a problem...we like to think of it as our DISNEY ADDICTION!!! We can't get enough of our favorite mouse!!!!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

We are finally official!!!! Me, DH, and DD (3) will be cruising along with the rest of you on 4/29!! I see Amy from Passporter here (Hi Amy!!) and am really glad to see others going. I'm not even going to try to read all 31 pages of posts (I do have a 3 year old that thinks she needs to be attached to my hip at home!!) so I'll catch up on the last few.

We are also Disney addicts. I've been 23 times since 1972, DH 19 times, and DD 9 times. We will be making a short trip in Sept for my birthday (don't even think to ask which one!!!) and then making our annual trek to the World for our week-long in Oct/Nov. I think Belle and Rella's Dad family might be there the same time - when are you going??? Would be cool to meet up and then on the cruise too!

Anyway, going to be fun getting to know everyone....even better when we're on the ship! WOOHOO!!! I am just so excited!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Welcome Suzie! Looks like things are really starting to roll!

Tom - WOW - will you adopt me? :rotfl2:

Catlegazer - thanks for the great info. on the eco tour. I had considered that excursion as it sounds like something we would really enjoy - now I have to decide between that and snorkeling on St. John. :confused3

OHJulie

CG,

Yes we will be at Vero hopefully the 1st week of April, (I have to wait for the seven month booking window, or we will have to slum it at the Beach Club) but that is not like a real vacation it is only Spring Break. The girls did grab some Petoskey stones when we were up with Pango at Torch Lake, I don't know if they will part with them, but if so you have dibs on at least one of them.

PhillyJen,

Baby I can't wait to party with you and the Head Gear, this time the first 2 liters of Vanilla Stolis are on me. You do have to promise that you will not let your children ride the elevators alone this time and that Pat uses A1A to drive on not for anything else. Tell Mike and Patti that there is always plenty of time to pack, this year they are part of the party.

Suzy,

I don't know if I officially welcome you aboard, but consider it done. We will in the Big O from Nov. 5 thru the 12th, staying at the Beach Club Villas, it would be great to meet if that fits into your schedule. Ours is pretty easy going, we know we will be back so we never get to caught up in the commando style of going to the parks. The food and Wine fest is going too be happening so maybe we could talk over a nice glass of wine :drinking: . I think that my youngest is about your daughters age, so it would be nice to meet you and your family.

Oh Julie,

I would love to adopt you, but honestly I can't afford another woman. I tell my Queen all the time you don't have to worry about me, I can't afford the ones I have. :scratchin

Amy,

Glad you could join us, you and your mom are going to have a great time. This was and will be the best vacation that our family had ever taken.

Well Ladies and Bow Tie if you are still out there, I need to figure out a way to pay for this cruise and since I have never won the lottery I had better get to work.

Tom pirate:

Tom, we will be at The House of Mouse Oct 29 - Nov 6. Hmmmm...tight scheduling but it can be done. Let me know what you think. We'll be off property at our timeshare Vistana. Check with Her Majesty and let's see whats what. Would love to have the kids get to know each other! Tori would be ecstatic!

Okay, what's the official countdown?
