....Now just 18 1/2 more weeks and we can see this little peanut for real!
Uh, but doesn't the "little peanuts" part make it a boy?

Wow, I'm awful at reading these! I'd a sworn that it was a boy and he was hung like a horse! I showed the Pirate and he started beating his chest. pirate:

Can we do a virtual baby shower? :surfweb:

:yay: :cheer2: :yay:

I don't come on here for three days and I miss out on this!

Sometimes I really think two of the same are easier than one of each. You can re-use toys (if the older one will let the younger one play with them). You can re-use the clothes they barely wore before they grew out of them. Tori will make a great big sister.

Somehow I managed not to get burned in the Caribbean, but this weekend was another story! I feel as fried as Suzie and Sue Rose were. You'd think someone who was so diligent about sunscreen on a cruise would remember to use some in her own backyard!

The arrow is actually pointing to three little white lines that show the girl parts - I know, I had a hard time seeing it too! But onece they show you, you're like "OH!". I kept thinking the stomach was the head, so don't feel bad!

My little peanut weighs only about 9 ounces (less than a beer can, y'all!). Hard to think only that much!

So here's some better ones that you can see the side view and baby girl giving thumbs up!

Lisa - I was gonna call you yesterday (Trish, too!) but things were a bit hectic! Sorry to hear about the sunburn! OUCH! All I can say is Solorcaine is my friend for life! I still put sunscreen on but only get more brown, thank goodness! Hate to get sunburn on top of sunburn!

CG - had to laugh when you said you were in a liquor store doing a layout! Had to go back and read that one! Oh, a scrapbook layout!!!! Thought maybe you had taken on a part-time job or something! How is Catrina doing? Poor baby....

Sue Egg - gosh, is that an open invitation for everyone?! Hmmm, now what week can we all converge on RI at the same time?!?!?! LOL!

Tom - OC, MD is very touristy and not very pretty. Tough crowds and rude. If you're really wondering where I'd go (I know you're just dying to know ) is Nags Head in NC. Beautiful!!! And lots to do other than the beach!! Or the lighthouse restaurant end of VA Beach is good too. Not too many obnoxious teens.....

Sister - thanks for the wishes. Can't believe you have a 25 yo! Hope you're getting over your cruise blues. Do what we did, dive back into your normal reality lifewith both feet and it all becomes a wonderful dream!

Got Tori a scooter yesterday. She and I will go out today so that she can play in the court. She keeps telling me that she needs her helmet, so we've got that trained into her! WHEW! Now, just for the knee and elbow pads!

So, we are now thinking seriously about girl names. Any suggestions? All will be appreciated and accepted.

Everyone have a great day!!!

We just watched an episode of That 70's Show yesterday when Kelso had his baby. He wanted to call her "a classy name, like Bambi". It does have the whole Disney thing going for it! :rotfl2:

Now is this the part where we all start listing our own names and those of our daughters? :lmao: My middle name has been handed down through 5 generations now. Would that be a good start to the suggestions? :rotfl:

I was really thinking about coming down to visit you Suzie after you told me about the weather! If it wasn't such a long drive. We have been having rain and 42 F for 3 days now. The sun came out today and they are calling for 80 F for next 7 days! :cool1: I just may have to find the sunblock yet. :sunny:

Caity is having a sleep-over birthday party here on Friday with all of the girls in her grade, and Ben's birthday party is on Saturday. At least he didn't want a sleep-over! He is having one friend over on Friday, just so he will have something else to do than bug the house full of 13 year old girls! If I survive this weekend, the rest of the summer should be a breeze! :teeth:

really thought that one would have brought TT out of the woodwork or Julie :scratchin :hyper:

Catrina's all better - finished her pink bubble gum addiction - you know the amoxyxilan stuff - and now she is just a peachy little dervish devil.

Hey TT - I'll give you another prod out of the woodwork - guess who I will be hangin' with this weekend?

Here's a hint:

Just checking in. We got into the 90's today :sunny: :cool1: Love the sunshine. My igloo is melting now though, where am I going to live! :rotfl2:

Gotta keep us on page 1! Barb, I think we're in Canada now. Rainy & 63 here. I want my 90's back!

Belive it or not, I just finished my photo album! We've been slaves to Jonathan's baseball schedule lately.

OK - I'll help keep things going here. Lisa - -you are right - it's miserable weather here also - yuck!! Where is summer???

Hey - has anyone out there ever been to Gatlinburg and to Dollywood? We are going in a few weeks to visit our daughter and her husband in N. Carolina and we are all going to Gatlinburg and Dollywood for a couple of days. I know it ain't Disney but it should be cute. If you have been there I'd appreciate any info on what is fun to do. Thanks. Sandy

SUE ROSE - this one's for you!!!

Was watching Ham on the Street (foodtv.com) and he's doing beer butt chickens on the grill!!! Started laughing in rememberance of your cornish game hens and then it happened!!!! He did a cornish game hen, too!!! OMG! I can never look at a little hen again without that whole story going through my head!!!

Here's his recipe!

OK - Here I am!

I was on the underdog's side. I am a moderate to conservative Dem, so my candidate was overwhelmingly beaten by the liberal candidate, but everyone's on the ballot for November. So the voters will decide, and I am thinking the moderate candidate will fare better with normal, non-salivating liberal people.

We were the host committee because it was in Worcester so we got front row seats - a bit of a bummer since we were so far under the podium that we couldn't see the candidates except on the jumbotrons.

I actually had a lot of fun because our Mayor from our city is running for Lt. Governor and he is a friend of ours as well as being our Mayor. He asked me to go talk to my former home town people out in Berkshire County for him, and I actually swayed a lot of people ot vote for him so he went from being resoundingly behind out there to actually only losing by two votes - overall he won the nomination with 49.02% of the voters. I have never whipped before, it was fun because I really did believe in him and his ability to be a great Lt. Governor. It was also fun to see my old cronies from out west there - Sue, I mean, really out west! :teeth:

OK - so as many of you know, that is as much as I will ever talk politics. So get it while you can. Now, I resume my life on this thread as a non-political member. :teeth:

Hey there Sandy....

Just thought I'd check in here to see if anyone's been posting. I've been to Gatlinburg. It was winter though and we mainly went to snow ski. I'm sure it's quite different now. I know quite a few who go there though and they really enjoy it. There is a huge aquarium that just opened a couple of years ago that it supposed to be pretty neat. I think they have a Ripley's Believe it or Not museum. They have an Imax theatre as well, we did go to that. And of course as many little shops as you can (or can't) stand. Nearby Pigeon Forge has a lot of shows.

HTH! BTW, Awesome to read about your upgrade to concierge! WOW! I don't think I've ever heard of anyone being upgraded to concierge before.

In other news.....not much going on here. A few weddings to go to. I've been sick. I actually thought I was pregnant. I guess it was just a virus. No baby here. Even though we weren't planning on it I was still somewhat disappointed when I found out I wasn't. However, just found out last week my brother will be having a baby! Well, his girlfriend. I don't think he's very excited about it though. This will be his first, he's 21. Well, hope all is well with everyone else.

ttfn....April

Hey April -- Great to hear from you!!! My last vision of you was when Carol and I were in line to leave the ship early and you and Tim were going up the main elevator - I guess to get breakfast - and you looked so sad. We had a great time with you guys at our meals. One of my cutest pictures is of my sister when our waiter - already forgot his name - grrr - put the curtain around her when she was cold and I took their picture. I saw your pics on Snapfish and I assume the one of you on the bed looking green was after you left our first night's dinner :). I hope you guys are well !! Sorry about your little disappointment - I know one day you two will make great parents.

Thanks for the tidbits on Gatlinburg - I'm sure we will have a good time - it's vacation afterall :Pinkbounc IT'll be interesting vacationing with my husband - after my 3 weeks away - he went camping for 10 days and just got back - we are due for a vacation together.

It's miserable, cloudy and cold here again -- does anyone have sunshine you could send to PA?

eck-hem.... I do think I've been DISSED!! ( said in my best foghorn leghorn voice!)

salivating liberal person I am... ;)

Jonna

No one should be dissed alone -- this salivating liberal will join you :) Ah - but we all love each other - we are disers - if disers ran the country every state would have splash mountain :thumbsup2

No one has been DIs'ed, I was playing to the crowd. ;) Trust me. Oh, and also trust me that you all are not as liberal as many of the people in this crowd at the convention - well, OK, Jonna, you may be ;) . But I was DIS'ing myself there too. And you all are not as conservative as my dear friends here at the 4/29 ers. Guess you two didn't get into a fun discussion about your affinity for John Kerry with anyone on the cruise, hunh? That is where this whole rift started. Tom likes to try and get me going and talking politics, but I would not bite. He saw me stumping for Kerry during election time - and yes, that is how far back this thread goes. I didn't tell him then that I am actually personal friends with John and Theresa - so there you have it, Tom - now you must come back. You have gotten me into trouble with these two lovely ladies. :bitelip:

Oops - sorry -- I was just playing along with what I thought was a joke -- Honestly - I wasn't taking it seriously -- - really - truly - you are not in trouble - never could be!! :wave2:
