Sitting here tonight and having cruise pangs....two weeks ago we were at POFQ having dinner and anticipating getting to the port and seeing everyone! Will never forget seeing Barb and her crew at the port ("Trish, didn't Barb color her hair? That's got to be her!!")!

So, I sat back down and looked at my pics again. Have to post one of my favorites that kind of said it all! Good friends, Disney and good times! Thank you to everyone for making it such a memorable cruise! I miss everyone so much!

ps - Steve, know that we are thinking of you and your firemen co-workers during this time. It's got to be hard hearing the press coverage all over again of that fire. Hugs to you all and know that we all appreciate everything you guys do.

Suzie, all your pix are great but I really love that one! My husband is such a ham!

I miss everyone too. That week went by so fast. Two weeks ago we were having breakfast at the Residence Inn and thinking about what time we should leave for the port.

I'm going to try to upload my pictures, if I can figure it out.

Suzie....You are so nice.Thank you for your thoughts.

I'm having a real hard time with this vacation being over.It went by way to fast.I think we should all think hard about coming up with a date to rebook. My wife is going to kill me with all of the vacations.(I'm like a drug addict I can't stop booking vacations.

Ok step away from the computer....now repeat after me...Hi my name is Steve and I am addicted to vacations.

Missing DCL so thought i'd check in on the dis. Well, I am so sad to find our cruise meet on page 2 for the first time.

Hi Everyone,

I miss you guys!

My computer crashed beginning of the week and it was out for repair. OMG!!!!

I was like a book without words..
A ship without a wheel...
April without rain
MK without people (okay stop now...)

Great pictures and posts.

Could someone organize (in one post) (I vote for you Suzie :rotfl2: ) all of the websites where we can go to look at each others pictures. I'm way to ADHD to go back and try to figure out where everyone has uploaded their pictures to.

BTW - I guess I'm the loser of the bunch. I only took 130 pictures. But I was relying on the rest of you to come through. I'll just use everyone else's to add to my collection. :thumbsup2

Brittany N. Ethan says "hello". He'll write you soon.

Hugs to everyone :grouphug:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
:flower: :flower1: :daisy: :rose: :flower2: :rose: :daisy: :flower1: :flower:
...to all the moms out there, and anyone who's not a mom but has ever felt like one!

I miss all of you guys so much! Thank you Thank you for posting your pictures. I'm reliving every moment and it's so fun to see things from others' perspective. I had really wanted to do the behind the scenes stuff, like the galley tours, so I'm enjoying those pictures too.

SueEgg I'm really looking forward to some Banana Hammock Special Edition ones, so get your hiney on over to the yahoo site and look for Suzie's post from a few days ago about uploading pictures. The post lists the site, the login and the password. I think pretty much everyone is putting their pictures in that one place...so far we have Belle&RellasMom&Dad, Suzie, Jewelgrrl, LisaD, and mine. C'mon everyone, share 'n' share alike. :goodvibes

Off to Mother's Day type activities...

So, the first night, at the late Welcome Aboard variety show...the little girl that Freddy Fusion called on-stage, the teeny one dressed in a pink tank top and pink skirt? Yeah, that was my Chloe!! Her 2 seconds of fame, and she loved every second. She's still perfecting her "act like a stick" finesse :teeth: What a great moment :cloud9:

Till We Meet Again :wizard:

My daughter Natalie played with Chloe in the club!! I saw you on the way out of dropping off for Flubber! Small world!

You daughter was wonderful. I told her I was honored to have met "the star"...

Take Care,
Sue

Does that mean that Leonard is a star now after the YMCA thing on stage? :rotfl2:

I tried getting onto the snapfish site and I can't get the password to work. I'll keep trying, but I may be calling you tonight Suzie to walk me through it.

If there is anybody on here who had a teen in the stack that Brittany hasn't contacted already about this, could you ask if they have Dillon's (sp?) email address? I lost his parent's address and I'm hoping to find them through the kids now. PM me if anybody has it, or tell your teen to email Brittany.

Thanks,

Barb

OK - I spent a goodly portion of my night last night looking at everyone's 500 pics. Suzie, you got so many that I missed - I love the ones you took in the pool where I dind't have my camera handy. I will upload one o fthese nights the ones I got of your family too. You and Trish saved my bacon on the graduation too. I was told by a CM that the 3-4s would be coming in on the left - well, no one told me that yes, HALF the 3-4s would be there and the other half would be coming in on the other side. So we dilligently watched the left hand door for him to come through only to get to the last chlid and be flumuxed and in a panic. I then had to scramble to find him in that sea of kids all wearing the same thing with caps on. NOT EASY.

Then, our batteries die on the camera. OMG!!!!! Bad parents, bad parents!!!!!!

So thank you both for the pics. I actually said to Paul not to worry too much because I was sure someone else would have been there to document it.

I was taping the graduation and zoomed in on the screen while the pictures were being played. I will try to save just that portion of the graduation and see if I can upload it onto the yahoo site or something. Still having trouble getting onto the snapfish site.

Suzie expect a call tonight for sure. :badpc:

Hello everyone,

I guess I am a real slacker - we only took 180 pictures. I will try to download onto the snapfish site later. I was having trouble with snapfish though - I tried to send our pictures to get developed and they would not load. I switched to Kodak and it worked fine.

Thanks to everyone who has posted their pictures!

OHJulie :wave2:

I finally did it. I got onto the snapfish site. It was such a stupid mistake that I'm not even going to explain, but I will be uploading my pics as soon as I can.

Trish, thank you so much for the "Village People" pics. I'll to through everything else once I get the chance.

Barb

Hi, Everyone!

I went ahead and uploaded 4 short video clips to the yahoo site--

Sail Away Countdown
Tom & Pango on 80s night
Pango in Walkin' on Sunshine (same nite)
4 seconds of Len & the Village People (70s nite)

I tried to upload LisaD's Gloria Gaynor but it wouldn't 'take', so when hubby is done on the 'fast' computer, I will try it again from there, but it may just be that the file is too big, or that LisaD is just too hot for the yahoo site! :thumbsup2

Keep in mind these are all mpegs from my dig. camera, so they're not super hi quality, but still a lot of fun.

Barb, don't know if you are planning on doing anything like this, but if you compose your pics into a slide show w/music, (using something like Windows movie maker or the one that comes on Macs that's really good) the clip of Len could work into something like that really well. Sorry it's not longer. Story of my vacation, running out of batteries and memory card space...had more back in the cabin, but never enough with me when I needed it!

OHJulie, don't feel bad. There are some truly evil people (said with tongue planted firmly in cheek--is there a smiley for that?) out there (namely a doctor I used to work for among others) who take somewhere around 10 pictures total on a week-long vacation. 180 is wonderful--and yet still not so many that you're labeled obsessive  ! We're looking forward to seeing them regardless!

So I know it seems I have nothing better to do than to sit here badgering you all for more photos, sorry about that!--actually I've finally made a dent in the post-vacation laundry pile and still trying to help Emma catch up with her homework, pay bills and discover just exactly how much $$ we spent on this crazy adventure, while keeping my 'day job'. But I must insist that you guys get with the program here and upload your photos...Shyla...Roses...Barb...SueEgg...Jonna...SteveMed...PhillyJen...Nikki...Amy...Partypat...and anyone else...unlimited space on that snapfish site, y'know. (I'm using these photos to keep trying to convince myself I'm still on the cruise. :sad2: )

Okay everyone! Sing it with me!

Penn...sylvania! Pink pajamas, penguins on the bottom; pink pajamas, penguins on the bottom...

Yes, we watched Lion King today. Tori gave me a wonderful (said with tongue in cheek) Mother's Day present. A 3:30 am wake up call with croup. Took her to the dr today and he put her on steroids for her throat. She's already feeling better but couldn't go to school today. So, we had movie day.

Yes, Gary Delena, you ruined the song for me.....on the other hand, I will always remember the cruise every time I hear that song!

Suzie,

I must have missed that joke because I don't know which song you are talking about. :confused3

I did start going through my pictures to start uploading them, but I didn't get it done. Caity is still home sick and I'm trying to work at the same time. She has now missed 3 weeks of school and counting. I'll get at least some loaded tomorrow, even if I don't get them all.

Have a great evening everyone.

Barb

It's the start of the Circle of Life. You know, that swahile or Massai or whatever language they are singing in - think about it in your head and then you can hear,

PENN SYL VANIA - pink pajamas, penguins on the bottom...pink pajamas penguins on the bottom :rotfl:

OK - I have started to upload general interest photos, some cute ones of the kids and ones of anyone else I have taken your snapshot.

It's taking me for freakin ever!!!!!! I have left off at St. Maarten. I will get back to the rest some other night - so stay tuned to the same bat channel. It's taken me two hours to get what's up there up!

This way I can repay Suzie at least for all the great photos she got of the kids too.

Night everyone!

Sorry I'm just now getting into posting upon our arrival back into the real world. My cruise depression is just about gone now. Sure I'm still missing it immensely but at least I'm not the sulky person I was in the few days after our departure from our best vacation ever, as Tim calls it. What a wonderful time we had. I forget who asked about my pics, but yes, that's Amy and Angela(grumpychook) and Carol and Sandy(tiggersisters) in that dining pic with Tim and I. Strangely enough we were tablemates. Not planned at all. It was a nice surprise. Also, Amy....if you check in here I read your report over on your other board....great stuff.....I tried to register but was never sent that confirmation email.

I've got about another 125 pics yet to be uploaded bringing my total to around 550 I think. I've got around 4 1/2 hours of video also. Lots of scrapping to be done here as I relive every moment of the trip.

Add us to the group who booked on board. We'll be shooting for 2008 as well. And we're hoping for the double dip as well. May spring for a verandah this time. I can't believe we're planning our vacation this far out now....we must be crazy is all I can say. I also agree with the other first timer who said the next time we'll really get the hang of cruising more. The first two days we really were just getting into it. It ended up being so magical. Next time I've decided to be right in the middle of the deck parties dancing away.

Here's a few of my fave things in no particular order.....
1.Castaway Cay- truly the best place on earth, at least that I've been to so far
2.Palo dinner and brunch- a wonderful experience
3.Chocolate souffle- my mouth waters every time I think of this
4.Our wonderful servers- Stepi and Theodor, truly great, and Corina at Palo, so sweet
5.Disney Dreams- sums up my feelings for the magic of disney
6.Pirate deck party- what a blast! pirate:
7.our wonderful roomkeeper- towel animals every night and chocolates, what more could you ask for
8.The DISers- How wonderful to actually know some people before we even arrived, and how great of the Roses for their hospitality!! :goodvibes

I could go on and on as I'm sure you all could, but I can't write forever. Anyway, I can't wait for the next one.

April

Shyla, I had no idea you took a pic of us! What is the deal with the DCL cruise logo reflected in the porthole window? Is that a reflection or like a hidden Mickey and you can only see it at an angle or what? Whatever it is, it's a really neat shot.

Michelle, I'm so glad you got the Welcome Aboard Variety Show with the balloon...was that Freddy Fusion or Mark Nevins?? OMG, are the memories fading already?! Mike & Isaac were already off and running that first evening, so they didn't go to the show and I've been telling them about that particular stunt.

April, we had the same good fortune with Suzie & Shyla's families being seated at the table next to us. I loved seeing little Tori make her little giggle face at me each night, hand over her mouth like we shared some hilarious secret. Just like a true pixie!

I have a ton of other general photos but for some reason Snapfish wasn't uploading them. I will try again later.
