Greg & Jonna!! Let me add a little interesting tidbit to that. I thought, maybe I should ck and see who else is celebrating, like today or tomorrow. Lo an behold, the only room upgrades that have happened in our 'little' have been for couples celebrating an anniversary during or almost during the cruise:

LisaD-- tomorrow!!!! (Sorry, can't wait-- HAPPY ANNVERSARY to you guys too!)
Snoopyto-- May 3rd

I know April & Tim are celebrating their anniv this cruise too, but it was back in March, so maybe, ITM, you should keep an eye on that room #!

Glad to know you're ok, Virginia! (in that crazy planning-for-a-Disney-Cruise-with-the-4/29ers sorta way.) Enjoy your pampering day!

Suzie, sorry about the pollen! Yes, we have it and yes, the cars get dusted with it at times, but those pics are like 'uber-pollen' or something...holy cow! Our cottonwood is lovely for people with allergies too...little tufts of 'cotton' floating down through the air like it's snowing!

Dress shoes for boys--what about formal night? You just can't wear black slacks, white shirt and tie w/sneakers, can you? (Well, I think Billy Joel and Clinton got away with it but neither of my boys play the saxophone! ) I'm looking at consignment shops anyway, since they'll only wear them for a cpl hours. Under $5 is my plan.

Yes, a speeding ticket. But I'm in a better place this morning, honest I am.

Looking at my cheat sheet, looks like Ulittletinker, Tom & Julie, and SteveMed are the lucky ones leaving tomorrow! Then the rest of us poor schleps on Friday! Only a few more days!!!!!!!!

Thank you Trish! Just remember I have to get Phil a card now! Just cards tomorrow - no flowers, no presents - taking care of that on the ship! We are taking dress shoes for our boys, but we already have them (from confirmation, school concerts, etc.) Hopefully they still fit!

Happy Anniversary Greg and Jonna. 20 years - we're at 21 years! Hard to believe.

Suzie, your allergies should be much improved when you hit the warm air of the Caribbean!

I for one Steve cannot wait, but I am taking some precautions, like no gum chewing, not smoking a cigar around you, and of course keeping you away from all of the Spas waxing procedures. We don't want another 40 year old

Ok i need a new keyboard i was drinking my soda when i got to that photo and well now my keys are covered in soda. Too Funny can't wait to meet all you, you all are fun!

Went and got my pedicure today wow that was a nice relaxing way to have someone else paint my nails...must do that more often.

Tomorrow I have a dr. appt and then i finish the last of the packing!

We leave first thing Friday Morning! I can't wait!

Amy, that's awesome! Hope the dr appt goes well. Also hope you are relaxing a bit with being off work right now.

I don't think there is even one of us that can't wait to meet Our SteveMed Man! That picture just proves my point! Although, I am wondering where the bracelet was, too.....

Almost done packing. Had to take the dinner break and totally forgot about Tori's laundy. Need her nighties and socks out of that pile! Then we can finish and be done with it! YAHOO!!!

Something I thought about the other day and meant to say. Someone was asking about travelers checks and paying out for dollar items. We took the "Ultimate Packing List"s advice and brought lots of $1 bills. He advises taking $100 but we will bring about $50. They're great for room service and bar tips and for paying out for cheapie items on the port stops. Easier since you don't use real money on the ship or CC. They charge it all to the room key. It really worked well for us and everyone appreciated not having to make change for large bills! Like I said, just a bit of advice.

A lot of relationships to be celebrated next week! I don't know how inclusive you want to be, but Jim and I are celebrating our 13th May 6/May 9. (Don't ask why there are 2 days, there just are. OK - 1 day for me to tell him how I felt, and 3 days until he finall woke up and smelled the coffee. Wait! That's not what I meant! - He's just a little dense sometimes. ) Anyway, our actual celebration is May 9 with breakfast at Kona, a day at MK, our favorite park, and dinner at Jiko.

We didn't tell DCL about our plans, though. Just Boardwalk and Jiko.

One of my parishioners is a hospice nurse and just got her third ticket. She, the ardent feminist, pulled out her old, traditioinal nurses uniform and went to court to plead mercy. She actually got the ticket dismissed. Another friend contested his ticket in court, and it turned out to be the judge's birthday, so he just let it go. You never know . . .
