Had a quick second that i decided to jump in and see how everyone was doing--

Inthemood--so sorry to hear about what happend

I have to get going on the packing my mom does her own and I do mine but I have so much going on right now that I just can't seem to find enough hours in the day to finish up the packing.

I had to go to the dr yesterday and it went well nothing serious at least i won't worry over the cruise and then had my hair appointment so now i'm highlighted and shorter legnth so that will help keep me cool in the caribbean! THen off to my grandma's over 1 hour away to pick her up then 2 hours back to where I work to pick up something i needed then 1 hour home again. Whew! glad that was over.

Today was a little better got some new socks and was able to get some last minute things I needed. If i am this busy now i am dreading the day before we leave!

Back to work tomorrow have to work 5 straight days but i have 2 days off before i go.

Have a great weekend everyone. If anyone is heading to WDW before the cruise and is leaving soon please have a safe trip and see you on the boat!

Tatonka Welcome to the Group!

The Roses-- I'll be there and can't wait to meet everyone.

CG- Congrats on the new part time job you will be great at it!

Suzie your daughter's photo from schools wonderful she is such a cutie!

There are many more things i'd love to comment on but I just came on for a quick visit. I'll try to sneak back on again soon!

PAARTY!! :drinking1

We just shipped our wine to the ship! We have an assortment of Oregon wines for our meet 'n greet. Jon got some reds, some whites, some bold, some light, some fruity, etc, so I think there will be something for everyone.

Single digits!! :cool1: We also went to the Birkenstock place (can you tell we're granolas from the NW?) and bought Tevas. I guess I'll have to do something about the toe jam now...

Oh, wine! You mean wines! Last I knew, we were talking about Shyla's unmentionables! Don't change the subject on me!

Okay, I've been reading and trying to be a good girl and get started packing--totally stressing here about that--but I couldn't help it, had to stop in & say hi!

Free ballling--OMG, is that an event in the Stevemed Fan Club initiation process? The pic was too funny!!

Welcome Tatonka!! Besides any mind-in-the-guttah ideas, what is the 'perfect trait' that SteveMed possesses for pirate nite?

SueRose, I have Tevas from my DL trip a cpl years ago, will be using them this cruise--you are now my official Teva Sista!

ITM--so sorry about that whole situation, and I truly hope your DD heals quickly. My kitties & my doggy are family members too and I don't envy your situation. ....On a lighter note, BTW, Banana Moon swimwear... :rotfl2:

Barb--so jealous of you guys! Not your weather, but your itinerary!! Have a blast, can't wait to see you!!

OHJulie, Mike is really looking fwd to meeting Kyle & wishing he could bring along his guitar so they could rock Ocean Quest together. We keep getting him on the Tween/Teen thread and then getting interrupted before we can get him signed in. Now everything is so frantic around here with single-digit countdown, I think we'll just wait for the cruise.

LisaD, I'm with you--I think all true Disney fans dream of being Disney specialist travel agents, like our own CG. Way to go, Shy!!

Tom, put me down for $20 on the Banana Hammock being worn--wait...have you specified where it has to be worn? I think that could change the odds...?

Ok, I'm going to get back to work here...have a great night everyone!

Hey, everyone, I'm posting an updated master database, so here's another call out for any changes, additions, deletions--PM me and I will fix it. It's a great resource for all of us to keep in touch on the ship in...oh what is it now...less than NINE days?

Barb the only rubbing in that will be done is Len putting suntan lotion on your back in 2 days, while we are all still home getting ready for the cruise. In fact you all are going to be in major relaxation mode, well before any of us make it to the Sunshine State.

Suzie, to answer your question I think that my boy Pango is scared of me, he knows who is the President, I think he was just acting out a little when I left him in charge. I e-mailed him and told him that we are talking about him, so lets see if we can get a shout out from the big boy.

TaTonka!, let me Welcome you

Sorry that is the best I have, it is not worthy of EggMan status and I apologize. As far as being the longest active member of the SteveMed fan Club, well I might have to give you the Unofficial title, but we need much more than 1 post before you can really claim a status like that. SteveMed has almost a Cult following by now, in fact I think he might even be the Most Famous Banana Hammock wearing, Firefighting, resident of Rhode Island that there ever was.

Also Suzie is right, we need to know much more about Steve than he and his Desparate Housewife are letting on. We need some ammo, C'mon EggMan give us some juice.

Tom pirate:

I don't think I like this.

TRISH!! Where ya been?

The Pirate came home from the wine store and promptly went to bed. Now he's sick! Antibiotic brigade here we are again!

The Wench

Say it ain't so! No! No! The Pirate can never go down!

Tell him we send him well wishes for a SPEEDY recovery!! No getting sick! That's an order!

Just checking in - there have been some very interesting threads as we get closer! I'm glad everyone is feeling better! Just hope the four of us can hold out without getting sick before!

Tatonka, welcome. That name reminds me of "Dances with Wolves."

My husband always insists on packing, and usually at the last minute. It's my job to get my things (and, yes, I always forget something - last time it was my hairbrush) and the kids' things together. Then the piles of clothes sit there and wait. Then it will take him two hours to decide what to bring, and finally to pack it. I'd like to start packing over the weekend, but my 13 YO only has 4 pairs of shorts that fit (we had to buy all new ones this year), and it's warm now so he's wearing them.

Domestic Beer Question - we are Miller Light people. Will tolerate Coors Light but nooooo Budweiser! Suzie , I used to drink orange juice and seltzer water when I was expecting - sounds better with Sprite! And your little girl's picture is really cute.

CG , congrats on the new occupation, even if on a part time basis. That's the dream job of a lot of DIS'ers, I'm sure! DH always tells me I'm a would-be travel agent.

Those of you heading down early, have a great trip! Since my kids are already missing a week of school for the cruise, no WDW for us this time. It will feel strange - to walk through MCO and NOT be on the way to the Magic Kingdom!

Single digit dance :cool1: :yay:  Have a great night!

Lisa

Lisa....As far as the meaning behind Tatonka and the dances with wolves thing you are getting warm.

Okay DW likes to sleep late. I am an early riser (6am no matter what). ust curious who else is stuck on the up early sleep plan.

Okay, got the new cabin maps out on yahoo. I had to post them seperately 'cause my scanner decided to trip out! And it saved them as jpegs instead of pdf files...who knows what's going on!! Anyway, they're out there!

Night everyone! Peaceful dreams!

Sorry, I'm the late night owl but DH is the early riser....Tori takes after him alot. Just springs out of bed all happy and chipper...just want to shoot people like that!

Suzie....I just got your message and I was not working. The wife and I have no kids(sleep over)so we went for a nice romantic date to WALMART.....boy do I spoil her.

Suzie- S says she agrees with you. I could consider myself lucky for not being shot yet.

Well, my parents called and are giving us $$ as an anniversary gift. So we decided to do the Personal water Eco tour on Castaway Cay. This will be our first time on a PWC and we are Floriians as that.

WOW!!! You went on a date to....WALMART! You are THE MAN! Didn't want to take her out for DINNER? NO KIDS, a meal that you don't have to deal with them and you didn't do it!?! Are you NUTS?! That would have been like a years worth of "Get off the sofa" free cards! Dude, you stun me......

Okay, Wallyworld isn't too bad. Assuming that you were there to buy last minute things for the cruise.

Hey, just got it! Your kids were gone...to the Eggmans, by any chance?! Hmmm....I'll never tell!

For truth now, good night all!

(Steve, you know I'm only kidding you! )

BTW, this time next week, I will be like a kid at Christmas, waiting to open the presents. In our case, waiting to go to the airport!! WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I traded mine in for Speedo Thongs. :teeth:

Snoops, I'll be there with ya at 6 am. I have two alarm clocks that help me rise at that hour - SUCKS!

Gotta finish our Thursday night speed clean then to bed.

OMG Tatonka's here! Welcome, welcome, welcome...

I was so surprised to see you log on as Totonka seeing as this word has such special meaning to SteveMed. The picture above of the man with finger horns--I've actually seen Steve do that!

SO...Ms. Tatonka, did you have to ask for express written consent to use this term "tatonka" to transmit in form by means of electronic reproduction from the publisher Mr. Med. to use this term in part or in whole for your use or for the sole entertainment of others?

Possibly you could have chosen another username more appropriate for you. May I make a few suggestions?---

1. Vanished :confused3
2. Shower after Shower :umbrella:
3. Aren't you glad I use Dial! ::yes::
4. I think we left our sunglasses back in the room :smooth:
5. Must've been a long line at the bar :drinking1

I think I'd like to start my very first poll. Let's take a vote. In the event that SteveMed should decide not to grant permission toTatonka to use his term, which of the above would make a suitable alternate. Certainly, the possiblities are limitless. If anyone should have additional ideas, feel free to post.

We're in single digits now - it's gonna fly. Seems like now there's not enough time to do what I need to get done.

Common - let's get this vote goin!

SUEegg (Eggman's watching, but he's not talking)

Wow, lots of posts since I was just here the other day. Had to plop down $300 today to have cool air blow on us in the car on the way down. :sad2: So wasn't expecting that. Also, we've been having scattered thunderstorms here the past few days, continuing tomorrow, and our one dog who we keep in the entrance (that isn't in the house) has been completely going nuts! He gets so scared of storms. He's been peeing in his bed, which has now been taken away until the storms are gone. We got home from work today and he had somehow locked us out of the house! It's a sliding glass door, no lock, where you enter into that part before the door that comes into the house and he had jumped up on it and pushed the lock down! GRRRR!!! I might not miss him so much this trip....lol.

Roses-Looking forward to the meet in your room! And of course I'll bring the cruising cd's...glad to.

QOTD answer- I pack all. I'll get some opinions from Tim on some stuff but otherwise, I do all. One year we went to disney I actually forgot our AP's! I totally freaked out. Fortunately all was fine, they issued us replacements.

Suzie
- Glad you like the cd's! Thanks for sharing yours too!

Well, I'm off to bed, I've had a sore throat the past two days, and I'm sure hoping it doesn't turn into anything more. ttfn

Two more sleeps....and then we're off to WDW :Pinkbounc We leave Saturday AM and will be in Orlando by 4:30. We're so excited :goodvibes

ITM, I'm soooo sorry about your pet situation. I have a dog who follows me around the house, also. It would be very lonely without her.

Sue and Jon, I shipped out wine today too. They said it takes a week and when I talked to the shipyards today they said it had to get there 2 or 3 days before sailing. I hope it makes it.

I've been working double duty to break away from my desk, so haven't had much time to post.

I have tomorrow off to run around and try to get all of the last minute things done.

Ohso, thanks for reminding me about the wax.....hopefully, I'll still have both my eyebrows when we cruise :lmao: :lmao:

My son, Justin, made it home from Europe, so my house has become one big suitcase with all of his stuff and mine.

Off to bed to gather more energy for packing tomorrow.
