How about a little coffee this morning, with only two weeks to go (we have 12 days until the Ron Jon resort), I thought I would give you a little wake up this morning.

After Eight Coffee

Equal amounts of cocoa, CrËme de Menthe and Whisky
espresso or hot, strong coffee
warm milk

Stir the cocoa with the mint liqueur and the whisky. Put a spoon in the glass and add espresso and warm milk.
If you're a real sweet tooth, add more sugar.

We are going to our church's First Annual Easter Egg hunt today. Ed got roped into cooking on the grill for lunch, me helping out with crafts. Tori just gets to hunt for eggs! This will be fun since so many of our friends will be there too! Then we're off to Macy's for the 2 for 1 suit sale (Ed procrastinated in telling me about it...til this morning when he woke me up!!) and then to friends to watch Narnia for family night! Action packed day, eh? (that was for the Canadians!).

Hope everyone has a great day! Just think this time in two weeks we'll be on our way to the port! YIPPEE!!!!

Hey, just found something pretty cool, if you go to the Cruise Meets page and then go to our thread, go over to the total number of replies and click on it, you will see how many times everyone has posted on this thread. Needless to say some of us have a problem .

Hi all...I had a great getting ready for the cruise day yesterday. For one our docs arrived....YAY! Then I picked up a collapsible hamper, some dramamine, and airborne. I still haven't found an over the door shoe holder I like.

Also, we got this awesome game for the trip down. We had some friends come in for a visit last week and their kids had it, but the adults ended up playing with it. It's a little round toy that is called 20Q (it's like 20 questions). You think of anything at all and then answer it's questions and it will guess what it is. It is amazing and we were all kinda creeped out at how it can get what you've thought of. Trust me, it's awesome, and you all must go out and get it now. It will keep you and your kids entertained the whole trip. We found ours on clearance at Target for $8.00 but if they are out at yours you can get it at Walmart for $12.00. Toys R Us has them for like $15.00. The adults were even trying to get it to guess some "adult stuff" and it asked at the end, "Is it a muscle?" LOL We were all dying! Once you get it and play it you'll realize why I'm going on and on in awe over this toy.

What's left to do now is make arrangements for the animals, pack, make a door sign, fill out the docs, and oh yeah, the air in our car started going out yesterday. UGH! Not a good time for that happen. Also, don't think we'll be dressing up for pirate night unless I just happen upon something soon in a store.

Happy Easter! I know it's a day early but I imagine not to many of us will be here on the boards tomorrow.

I have been trying to be a good girl and just lurk for a little while , DH is so proud that i am not posting 10 times a day.

Today is our egg hunt with our friends , the girls can't wait , they have been asking all morning when Stephanie is coming . What i think they are asking is when do we get our candy

Tori had a blast at the egg hunt. And she was so sweet to this little boy. He was crying because he only had 4 eggs. She went over and gave him half of her eggs to share (she had over 30 in her basket!) and then shared more with another little boy. She ended up with only six eggs. They trade them in for candy but we only let her have four pieces. I found last years bucket o' candy in the pantry the other day - still with Solid chocolate bunny! How'd I miss that one?!?!?!

Anyway, the weather was beautiful (84 today with lite wind) and was such a great day. Heading over for dinner at friend's house (grilled chicken caeser salad, breadsticks, green beans with potatoes, and caramel pie for dessert! YUM!!) and then Narnia afterwards. Fun night. Tomorrow is church in the morning and off to Grandma Alice's for a smoked filled Easter egg hunt and fun. Gotta love these trips! Come home, walk in the door (leaving all paraphenalia received from said house outside to get the smell out), strip down and toss clothes to laundry room, shower really good (gotta use soap this time! ) and then quickly do laundry before the smoke fumes invade the rest of the house! Yup, fun times....

Oh, well. Happy Easter everyone!

Oh, Tom. I didn't mean to ignore your question. Yes, I wore my old white thongs today so that I could slip them off without anyone noticing. Helps to keep me cool. Hate wearing shoes when I'm hot!!

Suzie , Sounds like you had so much fun and amazing weather . It was very very windy here today but we still did the egg hunt outside. We are actually changing denominations from Catholic to Methodist. They have so much more for the children.

I have a underwear picture of all the girls , but I think I'll spare you from that one. They all wanted to get naked painting their eggs

Sadly, I got a full 2 weeks left. But every other minute is spent thinking about the cruise. Just think the next time that the Disney Magic leaves Port Canaveral and starts sailing to the second star to the right and straight on till morning.It will have us on it. Woo Hoo!!!

We're doing great . Sorry, no wheelchair brigrade this trip. My sister might be sporting a cane, but that's just to keep the unruly cruisers at bay.

OMG! We just got home and watched Narnia! What a fabulous film! Even Tori watched it! It started coming back to me from when my mom read the books to us kids before bedtime! I remember pleading "Just one more chapter, please!". Now I can see why! Can't believe that it's playing on the ship, too! Double goody!

Good day, but forgot to turn the AC on and it's hot in the house (about 77) so we're running the house fan trying to cool it down for bed. Sleeping with the windows open tonight, so let's try not to wake up with sore throats in the morning.
