Oh yeah , we are doing the single digit dance this morning . We also reminisced by watching our last cruise video this morning.
Off to get ready to go to Aunt Tina's house.

HAPPY EASTER MATEYS

Spent the day yesterday finishing up that last minute shopping. Plan to pack later today.

I'm off to a friends for brunch this AM. Their serving Bloody Marys. I better watch out as I haven't had a coctail for 3 weeks. I guess I'll have to make today a practice run and get tuned up for the cruise.

We leave in 6 days The telephone calls are flying with all this last minute planning.

Good Morning and Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny came here too - and the kids were up at 6:20. That's right, it's going to be a long day. We're back from church - where I managed to drop a metal container of mint's during service - a nice racket!

Off to my sister's in a little while for lunch and an Easter Egg hunt. Just waiting for my huge pan of scalloped potatoes to finish baking.

Pat , your leaving in 6 days , I must have missed that post? Isn't it so exciting to finally be in single digits?

OhJulie , your day sounds exactly like mine , that's too funny , we were up at around that time , and also going to my sisters for an egg hunt . DH is making these incredible stuffed onions and I will be making the good old yes you may have already guessed it , deviled eggs with bacon and sharp cheese. DH is an amazing chef , he can make hot dogs look wonderful!

Suzie , I forgot I wanted to tell you a few posts back that I absolutely LOVE the picture you posted of you, Ed , Tori and your Dad , that's so priceless , I thought it was one of the nicest family pictures I have ever seen , really!

Time for the girls and I to take a shower or we will be late .

We're BAAAAAACCCCCKKKKK!!!!!!!

As most of you know, we cancelled our trip because I came down with a really bad case of pneumonia. Well, I am finally out of the hospital, and after whining incessantly, my doc gave in and reluctantly decided that a cruise ship is probably an ok place to recuperate. So we called DCL and uncancelled our cancellation! We're back!!!!

We lost a couple of our excursions and our Palo reservations, but our suite was still available!

Wow, what an ordeal! We've lost a whole month of planning, but we are so happy to be going that it doesn't matter. At this point, I'll be happy to just sit on the verandah and drink gatorade and rejoice that I'm not hooked up to an IV anymore.

We're back! We're back!

I got Disney Dollars for part of my easter basket I was so surprised! I am saving them for my trip that I have Planned to WDW the end of May!

Roses! WOOHOO! Ed came downstairs wondering what I was screaming about! WOOHOO!!! So awesome! Glad to have you back aboard!

Today was a really good day. The weather cooperated and no rain. The kids had a blast hunting for eggs although we still didn't find two of them. Poor Ashley!

Then after lunch, they all changed into play clothes to take turns riding in the go-cart! The older kids got to drive but the younger ones just got to ride. Ed and Uncle Steve (actually Ed's nephew!) took turns going with the kids. Very fun!

Then Tori decided she wanted to drive the lawn tractor! I was trying to get her off when Uncle Ed (Ed's BIL) started it up and took her for a ride. On the way back, he let her drive! Funny thing is that she didn't weigh enough for the seat sensor not to cut off so he had to push down on the seat! The tractor has a "crawl" mode on it so basically all she had to do was steer. Almost went off the driveway a few times but Uncle Ed helped out! Told her at the end she was a typical woman driver looking everywhere but at the road!

What a fun day! So not a typical Easter but hey, no one complained! We're all exhausted and will probably get to bed early. Lots of good food, fresh outdoor air = sleepy people!

Hi all!! It was about 65 here today. What a beautiful Easter Sunday! Hope you all enjoyed yourselves and ate as much as I did. (In training for the big cruise).

I can't believe we are leaving in just 11 short days. The kids only have 3 more days of school (due to vacation). I wish I could say that I only had 3 days left of work...no such luck!
