I took out that post , sorry guys. I'm having an aweful day . To top things off , I just called to cancel the party of 9 back to 5 at Whispering Canyon and the lady on the dam phone said we could get only an 8:40 dining I told her forget it and it was rideulous , why can't we just take 4 out of the party of 9 at the 5:40 seating. She said because it was a change to thr res , I completley lost it , needless to say we still have to 5:4o seating but I have to tell you yelling at people from Disney seems awefully strange.

CG , no Barry is a quiet sort till you get to know him , bright bright guy I have to say. He just thinks I'm going a little to nuts posting on board, he is probally right. I may take his advise and just wait to met everyone once we get there. Sometimes I think things I say come off wrong, when I mean to truely not offend anyone. I'm so not good at writting my feeling out I'm much much more of a chatter.

oh damn, I meant to tell you not to change it right away - not for me, but because I know you can just show up that evening and say, hey our party changed - it's no big deal. I have done it a LOT. I am so sorry to cause you so much problems. I wanted to tell you as soon as I knew.

By the way, I think you have the least amount of problems putting your feelings down.

The DIS is addicting. Maria, it's definately not a requirement to post here. By now we all know you and you have all the info. Check in once in a while, keep tabs on the Yahoo site for meets on board, and relax. Chat when you feel like it. There's even days I don't say anything :faint: Now, dontchya'll pass out at once on that statement! :lmao:

Thanks CG , Like I said I am having a major PMS day . I'm so sorry . Barry thinks I'm so nuts :rotfl2: , he's right . I will have to stop posting as much , he thinks I'll enjoy the cruise so much more.

But I still can't believe what a witch the lady was on the phone for Dining ress'es , never heard of such a thing.

O.k , well I will be away for at least a few days . We have another new line coming Monday and the store it tragic right now , I'm working now till my last day. I did manage to get Sunday off for once. I'm the only one there that will open the store on Sundays typically.

Good nite all!

Well, Well. Hello everyone. Been very busy here in RI. Finally got my course paper done and since I heard news of a possible Daddy/Daughter dance on board had to go out and get a dress for my daughter just in case. Good thing were having one here in town this Friday though. Meg won't be too disappointed if it doesn't pan out on the boat.

Seems there's been a lot of inquiry and hypothesis regarding this whole "Eggman" thing. Who would've thought...?

Suzie: I commend you for your Eggcellent mind and brilliant ideas! I love it

The Eggman himself was on last night reading, but he has yet to come out of the nest. There are still other possibilities yet to consider, maybe if you guys try hard, you could call him out for some more information. He's a pretty quiet guy. If you want clues I'll give you a few.

Here goes: The Eggman uses a straw
The Eggman uses dishes
The Eggman has very steady hands!

We'll eliminate # 5 Would you like to be on a boat for a week with #5.
Sheeesh....and you guys are worried about freaking sharks! Yikes! I have the heebies!

Shan, my bud (Desperate) I love banana bread too, with nuts!

Steve: How's the lawn tractor looking? Is it still green? Or is it rainbow colored? :lmao:

Well, everyone here seems to have a title so guess I'll sign off now with mine.

Janitor,

My only further question, is how can you tell that this location at Fish bowl is near where you will be snorkeling?

When we snorkeled, it was to this side of the island, but it was much farther north and there would be no way I could pinpoint exactly where on this map we were or how far out this Fish Bowl dive site is to the other areas.

I would note that any time that you dive or snorkel this far out into the ocean, you will be apt to see some form of sharks. In Aruba we saw sharks when snorkeling, but they were nurse sharks. This really seems pretty far out - more like a dive site than somewhere you would be snorkeling at.

If you really are still concerned, do the America's cup or the Golden Eagle - both are great excursions that you both will have a lot of fun on. The Pinel Island snorkeling excurions is supposed to be awesome too - some of the best snorkeling in St. Martin is on Pinel Island.

Being a diver, the above quote should be dead on. Being a very Avid Diver, I did the Shark dive once off Freeport. Never done one off St Maarten, but shark behavior is shark behavior. That said, the first question I would ask is when is the snorkel trip? In the morning, then I would not worry. Sharks generally work between 2pm and 3pm. Serioursly, since they don't dive in the morning and the shark dive is around 3pm, then I would not worry snorkling before those times. Most sharks are deep water creatures, so I would not expect them to be hanging out in a snorkling area.

Lastly, I don't think Disney would partner with someone where the risk too great. Sommer and I will be out there diving so we will protect you. If ya'll mae friends with the missus, she can tell you how I safely enangered her life and almost sacraficed myself for her on a dive in Freeport.

Castlegazer: I know how you feel having vacation days cut short. Sadly, I am integral part of my Troop and always worry what happens if a car gets wrecke while I am gone etc. I hanle the purse strings for the Troop, so trying to make sure my assistant wo is really a clerk, but she rocks, will be able to handle it. I may just turn the blackberry on when we are in St Thomas and check in mid-week. I am going to try really har to practice vacation. The other unnerving thing is I gav her off the 27th and 28th alreay. The evil boss needs to plan better. But I need to a bette suit too.

I am defintely looking for vacation now. Lots o things going on now and hope t have the work projects one in 20 days. In good news, I found a $200 Shipboard credit, so that will help things out from our last 7 day cruise. Sommer wants to do a spa treatment, but we are unsure on which one.

Any suggestions on couple spa programs?

I know , I said I wasn't going to be for a few days , but I KNOW what EGGMAN is , he is fertilty specialist , this is only because we had to go through it for the girls .

AM I RIGHT ? PLEASE TELL.:)

A fertility specialist? Interesting. I woul have to concur.

Can someone give me the link to the yahoo site?

OMGoodness! I totally dissed you on that, didn't I? I'm sorry! Trying to do things away from home is not too easy. Just PM me your EMAIL address so that I can send the invitation. The site is a private site because of personal photos and information. I apologize again! Call it pg or vacation brain, take your pick!

Had a great time at the tulip festival. We only went to one farm, but spent a few hours there, it was so beautiful! Imagine a valley with fields of rows of different colored tulips, mountain scenery going on in the background! OMGoodness it was gorgeous! I'm going to try to download pics to share but I have almost two hundred, so have to be choosy for just a few to show.

Tori is still running a fever but such a trooper! She was pretty good and not too pizzly inspite of the fever. She's sweating so much now that I think it's trying to break. Just hope I don't end up taking her to the dr....think she might have a sinus infection or ear infection...lovely...

CG - disregard my message to you. I figured out what I needed....so a big NEVER MIND!!!

Michelle - sorry to hear of your friend's wife. Death is never easy to take and at such a young age seems even worse. Please pass along our condolences.

April - I pm'd you. Cool to hear about the camcorder! I love mine but Ed hates to carry it and a camera! So he makes me choose which one to take and of course the camera wins every time (it records 30 mins of video too).

Gosh, I feel like I missed something but can't remember! Lots of posts to catch up on and my brain can't remember it all....sorry if I missed anyone!

Snoppy, Suzie will invite you when she sees your request - she has to send out the link. We need everyone to sign on over there. IT's where we keep photos and meet info so it's one referable place and you don't have to figure out where it was and on what page. It's also secure so we can put photos of the kids and us up there.

Ohso, that was my guess too.

Snoopy - my husband's and my best friend used to do this for the Army - he's now a State Trooper.

I would highly suggest the couples massage for the two of you. Also the Surial or Rasul treatment - whichever name it goes by now.

I am soooo, tempted to do the villas - holy expensive! But it looks soooo worth it! Check out the photos on castaway club.com (no spaces)

Great Day, it has been in the mid 80s all week, I really don't mean to rub it in, but you all really have to try this out, taking vacations to get ready for a vacation. I can't wait until I retire like the Queen has, we are getting ready for dinner so I will try to check back in later.

SteveMed where the heck are you??? You are not keeping up!!!!

CG, sorry to hear about the change of plans, I hope it all works out for you.

Tom pirate:

Sorry Tom. Even a firefighter has to work some days. :wave2:

I am writing in to find out how the voting is going. Hopefully there are no hanging chads. Although your list of reasons for being rieggman is very inclusive, I think there are a few more possibilities.
5. I am an egg blower. It is an ancient Eastern European tradition that has been passed down through my family for centuries. The delicate art of removing the yolk and white of the egg through a small hole in the egg without cracking the shell.
B. I am the inventor of the kitchen appliance called the “Egg”. It slices, dice, mixes, melds, and frappes. It also cleans no wax floors bring them back to their original luster. That’s probably not it because I’m not exactly sure what frappe is.
12. I am the lead singer in a Beatle cover band. Although I am not a good sing or guitar player I can talk with a British accent for a real long time. My fan base consists of old blue haired ladies wearing housecoats and arch supports, throwing girdles and trusses onto the stage as an enticement.
2. I am a health inspector of poultry processing plants. I am known to be a stickler for the federal laws that keep everything clean and running as well as our federal government does. So every morning you can crack open a delicious treat that came out of a filthy animal’s butt.
III. I am a superhero. I have been trained in Tibet by a Shaolin Monk in all manner of martial arts and hand to hand combat. I am an expert in all forms of weaponry, but my superpower is that I secrete a mucous substance similar to egg white that disables my nemesis by asphyxiation.

Many of the other possibilities are more interesting, but although I am not admitting anything I would have to vote for fertility specialist. Sorry no superhero, but SteveMed and I do have matching spandex outfits.

Rick "rieggman"

Welcome, Rick!!!! Glad to FINALLY see you here! Isn't that the way? The men send the women in first to make sure the coast is clear, and when they find out that it's cool, they join in?! :lmao: Just kidding! My DH is hopeless....says chat boards are not "him"....whatever with a capital W!

I would love to see a pic of the matching spandex! Is that before or after Steve lost those 28 pounds?! Now there's another mental image I could do without!

Maria, I'm sorry you're having such a hard day. (This is what I was forgetting earlier! PG brain strikes again!) Those are the worst aren't they? Tomorrow is another day and it always starts with a clean slate. Remember that. Also sorry that you feel hurt. NO ONE would intend to do that. I just don't get that vibe from anyone on this board! I also know that it's hard to reply to everyone - especially when you have a lot of posts to catch up on. I know that I'm guilty of just agreeing while I'm reading and feeling there is nothing that I can say sometimes or someone else has already said it and don't want to be redundant. Don't feel snubbed over it, please.

Please let your DH know that we would love to have him join the board to get to know him better. It's great to see other pirate: s here! It's just a matter of getting on here and joining in. We also understand if he doesn't want to. You can't force someone to do something they don't want to. But let him know we can't wait to meet him in person! What a great time we will have!

Snoopyto, you have GOT to tell us a bit more about yourself! We're trying to figure out if you are military ("troop") or a policeman ("trooper"). C'mon, I've got 5 dollars riding on this one! Help me out, would ya'!

Suzie,

I guess the question I have, is which way do you have me pegged? and only $5.00? That is not much of a cut for me at 5% or do I get a 50% cut? Then the next question is do you win if you are partially right?

I just keep thinking back to that movie of 'Down Periscope" with the guy from fraiser. They were giving that one guy a hard time because th gambler lost money on the guy and he through the game. I don't want to make enemies early.

I am very curious as to what Eggman's occupation is more so than mine. Such aloof people we have here. For all we know Suzie, being from the VA area you might work for the CIA and are out gathering intellignce on us. Luckily for I, I know that Disney has better intelligence than the CIA and the ship won't be docking at GITMO or something. Now I saw sound like the guy from "Princes Bride", 'Never gamble with a Scilian'.

Your answers Mad'am?

Holy cow, what a lot of stuff to catch up on! I am MOST excited (ask Suzie, I actually cheered and clapped my hands!) to see the REAL Rieggman on board! party: Welcome!!

And what a very fine pirate: he makes, full of spit and vinegar. Sue (so NOT a janitor!! How 'bout Head of Facilities or even better Chief Strategy Officer), you've taught him well and so graciously smoothed the way for him to join in. Can't wait to meet you both! :woohoo:

Biggest Losers, I'm sorry to say I've really fallen off the wagon this week...Suzie's yummy cooking and all of our sight-seeing is not helping! But we're having SO MUCH FUN! The coolest part is, when she does go home, I'll get to see her & Tori again in just a few weeks!

Tom, the Queen has most definitely NOT retired...you must know this. Being the Queen is a full-time job for sure...don't you remember your time with Abby in the car? And that's just a very small sampling of our job description. You may be the President but royalty trumps every time! princess:

April, congrats on the new camcorder! How fun is that? I always sit down with the instruction manual and try out ALL the features...never remember them when it comes down to it, but just the same...have fun with it! BTW, I would looooove some of those songs to get me "inthemood" ! :) I'm planning on getting La Vida Mickey or one of the other Disney island CDs too.

Snoopyto, I think you two should do the Rasul thing too! I've read so much about it and it sounds very interesting... :thumbsup2 BTW, so fun to see you posting more.

Sommer, get on here and start posting, girl! And do tell about how David saved your life. We all love a great story.

Michelle, I can't even tell you how sorry I am to hear the news about Kirk's roommate's wife. How awful for him and for the kids. So young... You make SUCH a good point about keeping in touch with your friends.

Wow, you are sure chatty now!

Okay, 50% cut if you are a copper. That's what I say. Snoopy=PI=Detective
And nobody wins if it's only partial!

Yes, I am from the land of CIA and other covert ops but, alas, I am just a helpless little housewife and sahm. I'm not the one you need to talk to about collecting information on everyone - although, I'm finding out who wears clam diggers and who wears speedos! A little bit TMI, if you ask me! And how do you know we won't be going to GITMO for Cubans? :smokin: Tom, you lied! :furious:

Okay Okay,(in best stitch voice), I work for the Highway Patrol as a non-sworn employee (Not a true cop, but I can get one really fast). I have the best job, I get to work with some really great people, help keep our roads safe, and not have the risk that my co-workers take.
