Um, could I hire you to do one for Quinn????? I love how you did it for Coby - can you teach me how to do it?????? He loves Buzz and Toy Story characters.

CG- Okay- Here is my first go at it. Of course, the original is much larger...

:thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :dumbo: :dumbo: :mickeyjum :donald:  OH My God!!! I love it!!!!! He is going to love that!!! He is on an obsession kick right now - he hasn't even seen the movie in full yet because I won't let him see the Sid parts.

Thank you sooo much! I totally don't know how to do that. It is very cool!!!!!

I have on my to do list, buying iron transfer paper, buying magnetic paper, and working on a T-shirt for myself. I think I will stay with my door sign as is even though I did it almost a year and a half ago now.

PJ - do you need me to call you out every day????? I didn't have time today to respond to your post yesterday, but I know exactly what you mean by relishing in the time spent with your daughter. I love spending time with Quinn alone. It was the one thing I cried about prior to having Catrina. I just knew how that was going to be something that got sacrificed and I couldn't imagine not hanging out with him alone anymore. Now I know how amazing it is with both of them, but I do really miss time alone with him. We set aside time together a lot. The oldest really is always your baby. What it would be like if my oldest was a girl is something I ponder a lot. .....Hanging at the mall together.............getting our hair done together.............shopping. I will bet you dollars to donuts Catrina is going to be soooo NOT into that stuff. She's beautiful, but loves to wrestle, hates dolls, loves trucks, and is absolutely not dainty - just like MOM!!! :rotfl:

CG- Sorry I didn't check in sooner but I just got home. Please do not give the slightest bit of concern to my order, the final count is just fine. I can't believe you went back and found the original posts.

Ohso- Love the tags.

Mom2- Cool Signs

Pat- Snow huh. I wish it was more of a rareity around here.

This weekend our swim team is hosting a 3 day meet. Tonight was for the older kids but Meghan signed up to try the 12 and under, 500 yard freestyle, that's 20 laps. She was the only 8 year old there tonight and I was so proud of her for being willing to try it. She was sooo nervous before the event, when she finished I almost burst out in tears because I was so relieved she finished and didn't get DQed. We'll be at the pool all day tomorrow then I have Bunco at night, then all day Sunday at the meet again and then Kirk's office is coming over to watch the Oscars. BUSY BUSY BUSY.

But your box is full!! You've been busy. ;-)

If you send me another PM with your email, I can give you our address.

How does payment get arranged? Thanks for your hard work!

Carolina Yankee , i just visited your link , the photos are amazing and I love your commentaries on the places you have been to. Can't wait to see it once you recap our April Disney cruise vacation!

Mketting , It was such a painful and stressful process that DH had to endure making those tags :rotfl2: . They did turn out cute ,however he is not a duct tape specialist like myself.

Well off to bed .Good everyone

CG , I have to tell you Catrina and Mckenna will get along like peas and carrots , I call her my boygirl . She is such a little tomboy . Loves Power Rangers ., Spiderman , and Scooby Doo. No dolly's for her , no way !

Good Morning , where is everyone today ?

We are going to have a big shopping day , nothing to exciting just the essentials and getting Holly's new and improved prescription filled :) . Tonight is card night with our friends so we are in a frenzy to get the house cleaned up , yup I was a slacker this week .

Been trying to keep myself busy this morning since Ed left at 4:30 this morning. He's driving a truck to Palm Beach and coming back sometime this coming week (I hope!). Then he'll be driving a truck back on the way. Not flying back like he normally does. Bummer.

The first day he's gone is always hard on me and Tori. I just try to keep busy so I don't think about him gone. So, I've done almost ALL the laundry, changed the sheets on the beds, cleaned the bathrooms, cleaned up the dishes from last night (had friends over for shrimp in pasta with clam sauce! YUM but it sure makes a mess! Well, doesn't help that I always overbuy shrimp - in this case 6 pounds! - so that I can have cooked shrimp for meals the next few days! I think we used every stock pot I own and then every bowl! But it sure was good!!), took the trash out, got some drawers in the dresser cleaned out, finally - yeah!- finally got a shower and I'm going down for the count! Doesn't help that I woke up 3 times last night having to pee (TMI, I know!) and Tori had a night terror then she woke up for good at 6:30! UGH! Can't wait for her to start asking where daddy is. She forgets that he tells her he's going on a trip then we have a big "discussion" about it when she starts asking. She throws a tantrum and crys then makes me cry....just love these days. Funny thing is, she'll be fine the rest of the time he's gone. Go figure!

Alright, I've put in my two cents for the day. Tag, you're it! Your turn!

I'm trying to get my kids down to sleep and trying to uncondemn my house from the past week and last weekend.

Gotta run - Catrina is pretty convinced that she doesn't need to nap. :guilty:

Not much new around here. Another storm warning out for today and tomorrow. They are calling for around 20 - 30 cm of snow, with high winds to blow around what already dumped on us this week. We got 30 cm by Tuesday (around 12" for you southerners) and we sure don't need another dump tonight. We live about 15 miles from the nearest store, so I'd better get into town and get some groceries in case I can't get out for a few days.

On a happy note, my son got a place on the regional team for the Manitoba Winter Games. This is an Olympics type thing done every 4 years in Manitoba. They have opening ceremonies and light a torch and everything. It will be a wonderful experience for him. I'm so proud of him. We leave Monday so the weather better improve by then. I'd hate for him to miss this opportunity. It's actually being held only 30 miles from where we used to live, so I will have the chance to visit with some friends.

Barb - Congratulations on you DS's spot in the Winter Games. What sport is it? Super opportunity for him!!!

We have spent the day doing some power cleaning. I pretty much let it go all week. Now we are thinking that we probably NEED to go to our favorite Pizza place. YUM - excellent Pizza and their salads are to die for. Great Pizza is a little hard to find around here.

Well after all of the talk about Banana Boats around here I went ahead and booked it on Castaway Cay. We are going to go at 3:00 to kind of wrap up the day. I also reserved the Stingray Adenture -I think my DD will especially enjoy it.

Are any of you ordering gift baskets? I think it would be a nice surprise for the kids, but I really can't think of what I would have put in it? It seems a little silly to have food in there, since there is so much available on the ship. Any ideas for DS (13) and DD(9)?

OHJulie

Can you believe I've already received my VA state refund?! How quick is that?!?! WOOHOO! I'm gonna buy my new camera this weekend! SO EXCITED!!

Okay, this day just keeps getting worse. Tori now has a 101 fever, the store is out of her allergy medicine (have to wait til Tuesday for the order to come in), and they had to readmit my grandmother back into the hospital. Mom had to take her to the emergency room (why they didn't call 911 like they're supposed to I don't know!) because her diabetes numbers were too low (she's still not eating), she was talking very insanely, and she'd forgotten how to walk. Mom was crying on the phone and it took so long to get the information out of her. She's afraid that Mimi won't make it out of the hospital this time. This day just really sucks.

Suzie,

How horrible. You must be so stressed out! I hope and pray that your Grandma will be O.K. - and take care of that little girl. It is so hard to watch them and not be able to do anything to help!

Take care - I hope things get better soon!

Julie

:dancer: :rockband: STUDIO 54!!!!!

Suzie - any updates today???? OH, and I haven't even filed yet! That is amazingly fast. No way would Mass move that quickly. I am normally waiting for that check for a long, long time.

Barb, what sport and congratulations!!!!!

OHJulie - Yes. And no, no ideas, I am struggling myself because we don't allow Quinn to have chips very often and candy is most definately limited to the extreme - so I think I am going to ask for some cars like hotwheels and monster trucks along with sippies and bath toys for Catrina. I would say just call her and talk to her about it. I am in discussion with her about some other business stuff and she is really an amazingly nice person.

I have some cool news - Catrina took her first step last night!!!! :cool1: Soo cool!!! She's much slower with the walking thing than Quinn was, but it's sooo exciting to see it happen again. I really love this time. I think I have said this before, but I am much more fond of toddlers than babies. I love when they start walking and talking - such a miracle! The coolest part was going into school this morning and telling her teachers and they were surprised! Normally I will go in with big news and get a blank stare and a big smile because they already knew but couldn't tell me (drives me insane). This time, we got to see it first!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

CG , I so miss those little first step moments , first roll , first crawl , first steps , first mama and Dada it was so exciting. i know we are not having anymore babies since the ones we now have are finally paid off :rotfl: , we had to go through a tedious process to have them. I would love to have one more but I don't think that is going to happen , plus I am not getting any younger .

Ojluie , I am going to just order the Welcome kit for the room, I thought the girls would get so excited to see everything decorated. I really really wanted that Mickey pearl necklace but I came to my senses and I don't need it. I was hoping to do a little shopping in St Thomas , I bought a gorgeous 5 stone bracelet from there 10 years ago and I still have it . I would love some earrings or something to go with it but I am not so sure that is in our budget either.

Well I put my last day in at work , it is April 15th . I'm a little sad but somewhat relieved. I spent so much money there . Every time a new line came in I bought just about everything. I know the next line at Gymbo is Strawberries. So I will have to have some of that before I leave. We only own Gymboree , maybe 1 or 2 outfits from Hanna or Little Mass but that's it. I am going to have to become a thrifty shopping again it seems. Marshalls and TJ Max here I come !

Hi gang.

Whew....what a weekend. I am exhausted but it was a blast! We went out on Friday night, my parents came over saturday, we had a dinner party Saturday night-I stayed in my pj's all day sunday working on my website(almost ready...), took a bath with a glass of wine, got all dressed up and went to an Oscar party! Needless to say....my motto couldn't be more true today!

Now I am just catching up on orders and trying to drum up some business for the next month or 2. I have about 8 shows that I have to squish into the next 54 days....and trying to get people to commit to a date and time is like pulling teeth. They don't get how quickly mother's day is coming up and it is our second busiest time of the year! and how I am not going to be here for 2 entire weeks between now and then.... :woohoo:

The bar is completely finished including the new paint job. I took some pictures of it yesterday. We need art for the walls and we are all done. Pat wanted me to call the newspaper for a "newsflash" that we put a single lone picture on the wall this weekend. I have committment issues myself when it comes to things like that....I just have to share, he did such a great job!

Yay for Catrina-that is so exciting and I totally know how you feel about daycare. Katie's firsts were all there and they never said a thing until after I found out for myself, which I guess is nice.

My girls brought me breakfast in bed this morning- Cinnamon Life WITH TOO MUCH MILK if you know what I mean so I will be shampooing the stairs today! :rotfl: They were too cute!

Suzie- hope things are ok with your grandmother.

Chat soon.
PJ

Castlegazer,

He's in bowling. It really is a big deal because they only pick one 3-person team to represent the entire region. The region covers an area of around 100 miles by 200 miles I'm guessing. The age range is 10 - 18. :cool1:

You mentioned that they can't tell you things that happen at school. Why not? I've never heard of this.

We did get the storm they were warning us about. Close to another foot. I leave this afternoon so the weather better behave. Get this, they are now forcasting rain for tomorrow! What's up with that? :confused3 I'd rather take a blizzard any day than freezing rain. There is always some idiot who thinks he's invincable and drives too fast. I've been driving since I was 12 (farm girl) and nothing really bothers me like ice.

I'd better get the last of this paper work caught up before I leave. Send some pixie dust Ben's way for the games. They will be televising the opening ceremony where he will be parading in with his banner, but I'm sure there isn't anyone here who will see it. Just know that there will be one proud Mom sitting in the outdoor stands freezing her butt off tomorrow night. 3 hour ceremony at night outside. The closing ceremonies are inside, why couldn't he be part of that instead!!
