Suzie,

I am on the road today and I found a wireless hotspot so I had to check in and see who you saw, all I have to say is thanks a lot. You know how big a deal that would have been to the Queen, oh I just saw that she posted so you already know, my wife would have been a puddle if she saw Kelly and Mark. I actually tried to call you this morning because I did not think that I would be able to log on and had to find out who you met, but you cell was turned off. Tell Ed I am with him on the Barry dude, not a big fan, but Aero Smith rocks.

Well gotta go sell something, so I can keep up the the what the Queen and my princesses are spending.

Bummer! You need to PM your number to me again...don't know what happened to it. I'd put it with my cruise papers but it just seemed to disappear.

Yeah, I'm a PIPA fan too. Much better than Kathie Lee.... Just wish Johnny Depp would have been there.....

Sidenote: Kept seeing people going in and out of the Walt Disney suite (just a bit down from our room) and didn't recognize anyone! Not even the kids! Every time I went to take a picture of the doors, someone would be going in or out! Busy place! I've heard though (unconfirmed) that the celibrities stay on the 5th floor concierge - unlike us nobodies that stay on the 3rd and 4th..... Gosh, wonder who we could have run into up there if only I had known.....

PartyPat I emailed you at home and work.....

OH MY GOD - OH MY GOD - OH MY GOD - SOOOOO MUCH TO RESPOND TOOO - I AM IN OVERLOAD!!!!!

Man, That was just the perfect little trip If ever I heard of one! I saw Kelly Ripa at an event one time and she was the nicest person to everyone so I can totally see that she would be just one of the best celebrities to meet like that. Did you see the show where she cooked with her kids? for some reason I was home that day and they are a super handful! I can totally see her son giving Tori a rasberry - poor girl - tell her the boys do that when they like someone.

I love your experiences with Gary! That makes the whole vacation that much more special. What a luxurious weekend you had.

I didn't realize you would be home last night - I was preparing a present for you guys and didn't finish and said to myself, that's OK - she's in the World! I will get it to you tonight, I promise - just PM me your email address again - I searched high and low for it last night.

Now the whole Club check-out thing is whacked - but they must just assume that we are related. Just so everyone doesn't think we are whacky - I asked Suzie when she first posted to link her dining with us as Tori is the same age as my son and we both had early dining. You all should think about doing this also with someone on the thread - people say that it is a wonderful way to spend the week. I am seriously looking so forward to meeting the honorable luminaries and celebrity hob nobbers from Virginia!

JewelGrrrl - PM me your e-mail address and I will get it off to you ASAP.

Julie - Thanks - we are excited too. It's great to throw cares to the wind.

Now onto official business:

(I know I've used this one before, but its my favorite:)

Suzie and CG are sisters? Just kidding, when we registered the kids all the people we were linked to showed up as possible to be able to check in and out also.

Oh Julie, are you from around Cleveland? I have to be in Beachwood next week and I think it is a suburb of Cleveland, just want to know where and what type of city it is. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone seen HeadGear Pat?

BTW, Queen, I made the sale, we can have another Drink of the Day, off to the next appointment, this one is for the wine tasting.

Tom pirate:

Mom2 Coby and Sydney!

Hi! That is not off topic at all! Welcome aboard! If you have 20 or 30 hours to read all the posts- you will soon realize that there is not a whole heck of a lot that is considered off topic here!!! :rotfl:

That is Inyo- I hear he is still on the Magic, and we are crossing our fingers that we get him again! Inyo is from Bali. The other is Colin from Trinidad. They were wonderful. Colin sang the girls Island folk songs at night-taking each of them on his lap- we(the mom's) just wished he take us on his lap next..... :rotfl2: :lmao: Inyo had magic tricks every night and just LOVED Katie-he'd carry her out every night until we got to the edge of the dining room. And to know Katie is to love her I guess, it takes her a little while to warm up but when she does....watch out!!!

Welcome to the thread. It is bound to get lively-and after the 75 day point(when the rest of the group does the online ressies) it will be just mayhem! :woohoo:

SuzieMVA-I LOVED your trip report. I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention to the posts previously- but how did you end up at WDW 2 times in a week? If I remember correctly-the GF trip had been planned in advance? That is sooo cool that you could do 2 times, and recouperate at home between the trips!

Alright- back to my laundry-I promised myself that I wouldn't get wrapped up in the board today! Have a good one.

Hey, everyone, I just got confirmed that I will be in Orlando at the end of the month! I can't stay at the World as I have to be accessible to all of our clubs and check out some downtown sites, not just Kissimmee, but you can bet I will be down in Epcot during the day whenever I can be. I am so excited!!!!! The most excited someone can be for business stuff, I guess.

Tom-Actually I haven't seen much of HGP lately at all. He comes home from work only to do.....more work. I am NOT complaining bc the more he works, the more I don't have to! I have him on my website, he has taken a freelance consulting gig after hours to help out our friend who owns a Business Psychology company, and of course the big Accenture keeps him busy for the other 12 hours of his day! Oh and I recently hired him and his crack to perform some plumbing duties in the basement. When he is done with that-he is tiling the rest of the bar area and enclosing the home theater and painting it a "theater"-ish color! Sooooo-perhaps he will be done with all that sometime in late April! I am only partially kidding, but I will have him post something witty soon. It takes him time to prepare his responses. But I did order the martini pirate flag for our Verandah! That way you will ALL know where to find the bottles of stoli!

Tom-I found a Tshirt company that makes a tshirt that has a huge ant on it with a human head-wearing headgear......The caption is "Fear the Headgear!"....They also have a drunk dialer tshirt!!!! :rotfl2:

If they weren't baby blue-Id get them both!

PJ

Everyone here seems to know each other very well. Thanks for the welcomes! Can someone tell me ages of boys and girls that will be on this trip. I want to get my kids psyched up for the clubs and wondered if there are any other kids on this cruise that will be the same ages that I can tell them about?

Mine are Coby-5 (he loves dinosaurs, star wars, pokemon, etc.) and Sydney-3 (she loves princesses of course but also baby dolls and Dora). Oh, and how could I forget- they both LOVE DISNEY :) Coby actually rode TOT when he was 4 (and really was not tall enough but somehow skimmed by). It scared him but that is all he talks about wanting to ride again! LOL. My husband claims they are brainwashed because they always want to talk about Disney before going to bed. The only brainwashing I did was to take them there. ;)

I can't believe the cruise is only 3 months away! :woohoo:

O.K. now I'm just getting mad! Suzie spends her weekends at WDW, Tom and Julie are off to Vero Beach soon and CG is going to WDW at the end of the month. There must be some pressing business that I have to do in Florida, right? I really need to work on this!!! :rotfl:

Suzie - LOVED you trip report. I am glad you are so pleased with Happy Limo - we will be using them for the cruise.

Tom- yes, I live close to Cleveland. Beachwood is an upscale suburb on the east side of Cleveland, about 25 minutes from the airport. Great shopping and restaurants there. Check out Legacy Village if you have a chance - it is a very unique shopping area.

Just so you know Mom (that is short for mom2cobysyd), most of us wouldn't know each other if we fell over one another in the terminal. BUT, I booked on October 2004 as did the Belle&Rella family, PhillyJen (and HeadGearPat), and OHJulie and their respective crews, and the others have been straggling in throughout the year - after checking in with one another for over a year now - we have figured out each other's quirks pretty well.

There are 23 kids - from a quick count that may be wrong - between the ages of 3-6 in our little group alone!

As Belle&Rella'sDad said, we'll have a meet sometime after getting on board to have every one see each other and meet up with kids the same age. (another reason for my spreadsheet as I was trying o figure out the best time) Most meets are at 3 pm but with the new schedule in the clubs I was trying to figure out if this was good or not still. Being a newbie DCL cruiser myself, I was intrigued by the ship tour at 2:30 pm...... blah, blah, blah..... we'll get it figured out all together what is a good time when we aren't thinking about ressies.

FOR EVERYONE: As we get to the drop dead date I will be ordering the wrist bands. In the next few days I will asking the newbies and the oldies for their confirmation on orders. Not now, but in a few days. NEWBIES: I will post some information about this in a little while - the gym calleth right now - YES, it's true.

MY gosh! You guys are busy on here! I'm off to my dr appt soon - am very nervous as to what he will say but may have special news when I get back! Let's keep our fingers crossed.

PJ - Okay, this would never have happened but yes, we did have two trips in ten days. This past weekend trip was a scheduled one that DH's employer paid for. The other famiuly that went with us is the lady who cleans for his employer. Kind of a thank you for all the back and forth trips to Palm Beach that Ed and Cecelia have done with the house there.

The trip last week was spur of the moment. Ed had to go back to Palm Beach and I really wanted to go with him. Problem was it was so expensive to fly one way to Palm Beach (Ed drove a truck back) that it was cheaper for us to go to WDW! (Have this problem that I can't stand to be home without him here - had too much of that at Christmas time - so we just escaped for a little bit of time!) Amazing, I know, but true. Glad I have an annual pass!

So, when are we going to get pics of the home? I love the ideas that you guys are doing!!

MOM Sydney sounds just like my Tori! She's 3 1/2, loves Princesses, Dora and babydolls! Oh, and of course, Disney. This past weekend made her 15th trip to The House of Mouse! Whew!

CG I can't tell you how glad I am that you guys decided to go. I would have been very dissapointed if you hadn't. Could I possibly have the spreadsheet thingy too? Dying to see what it looks like - I told you I'm a Type A Planning Person! I'll pm you my email again, if you need!

Okay, gotta drop Tori off to my friends and I am off! Wish me luck!!!!!!

CG...what is funny about that is when we were in the terminal waiting to board the ship for our May 04 cruise, PhillyJen came up to Tom and asked "are you Belle and Rella's Dad?" She said that she recognized him because he was with three adorable little girls and a smokin hot wife!!!!!!! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Hard to believe that when I started this thread we had 570 days to go and now we're down to less than 90!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, please - after about 30 minutes of searching for it - I gave up. I have absolutely no idea what the heck I did with it - totally not like me. If I had it I would have automatically sent it to you since I knew you would love to have it, but were off galavating with the celebs.....

My 3 1/2 year old son, Quinn, loves the Princesses, Dora, and plays with dolls too (all you men don't laugh, he is sensitive and I LIKE it - so there) He likes to cook too - I am ensuring that while he drives his monster trucks that he will be a Rhodes Scholar too. :lmao: But his true passion, and Tori should brush up on her Monster Truck knowledge lest he babbles her into bewilderment, is Tonka Joe who drives the Tonka Monster Trucks. It's and all out obsession. Gotta have a good balance. He is a neophyte compared to Tori - he has been to WDW 2 times and once was only for one day!

:goodvibes Ooooo, I haven't been saying anything, oooooooo, waiting for you to bring it up, oooooooo, I am sooo excited :hyper: OK - we'll all be here for you when you get back. :bitelip:

amazing that I could actually see her - never heard her speak before in my life - but I could actually see her saying that :lmao: (damn, she beat me to it! - Tom, look out, seems we all think your wife is smokin hot!)

OK - gym went well, so I am now officially on a roll with working out. Pants seem to not make me gag when I zip them up anymore. I am officially up 1 pound, but let's just keep that between you and me, shall we, and keep me at 0 loss for now.

Hey - to the boozers at Ron Jon's! Do you think you guys would be able to stumble down to Grills for dinner Friday night - or should we not plan a get together that night? I know it would be tough to do with how many you all have in tow.

Those staying in Cocoa Beach the night before have indicated a desire to have a get together, so as promised, I am bringing it up.

The crab shack we go to is now too far to go to - its now over in Merritt Island and that is just not good pitcher drinkin distance. Everyone on the boards here says Grills is good - I have actually never eaten there but its right in the port and you can watch the ship sail from there. We usually slurp oysters at Frankies across the street but their menu leaves much to be desired beyond the oysters.

Another idea - is the pier which I would love because it is in stumble distance for me. There are several bars and a very nice restaurant on it.

So, let's hear a roll call for anyone wanting to get together for dinner Friday night and then your location so maybe we can tailor it to close to your room.

Castlegazer-

What a great list. Thanks for sharing it. I will be sure to stay on top of reading this thread to keep informed. P.S. I am also a soccer mom that plays soccer :thumbsup2

Suziemva-

WOW- 15 times and she is only 3 1/2- she is lucky. Hopefully, she and Sydney will meet and have a great time in the club. You're last trip sounded great! Just reading it makes me want to go there now. I'm so glad that we are visiting WDW before the cruise! I am slowly working on the hubby to get him fully converted to a Disney Dad :earsboy: (he was a Disney Dud until last year) to plan at least an annual trip. This cruise was actually his idea so I must be doing something right! :tink:

Mom, where are you all staying prior?

What cabin/s do you have on the Magic?

We are on the every other year plan - and I have a place to stay down there :confused3 , so I am in sympathy about the yearly plan push.

We are staying at Pop Century- we arrive on the 24th. We stayed their last time and enjoyed it so we decided stay there again (as well as save some money since we are doing the cruise).

We are in Cabins 2607 and 2609 (my husband gets sea sick so I read you should choose a lower cabin). My mom is going too and is keeping the kids in her room so that hubby and I get somewhat of a 'couple' vacation. The rooms are connected so it should be nice.

I will be watching for the info on the bracelets- great idea! :wave2:

:rotfl2: That was one interesting day. We had a picture page for our cruise on that banned site so we kind of all knew what each other looked like. The joke at the time was that HGP didn't like the fact that his girls were posted on the internet-on some stranger's site so we made me take ours off! :thumbsup2 Then he realized that they are not only strangers, but completely nuts!!!! Anyway-almost everyone in our group had recognized each other before we were even on the ship. In the terminal, the line, blah blah blah..... My friend who we were traveling with thought I was nuts-as did my husband. But it turned out all good!

This time, we just found out that my husbands new boss will be on our cruise! It is all good, he tells me because he really likes her and she has been part of his career life for about 7 years now.... I just hope I don't have to play that part of the "demure corporate wife" for much longer than about 5 minutes!

Ok- I love this icon!!! If you ever wonder what I look like in the morning.....:surfweb: that's it...except I have a little more hair and am on a laptop!

Suziemva--------wellllllllllllllllllllllllllll....... :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc The anticipation is killing me.

We are not going to make a meet on Friday night we are staying at the airport. We got Happy Limo for Saturday morning, I guess Patty booked us a stretch Excursion which is what we had last year and it was great. I love the Hummerzine(does it really have a dance floor?)-but believe it or not..I was a proud owner of a red Hummer about 2 years ago and would rather not step foot in another one as long as I live. I swear the damn thing gave me carpel tunnel trying to maneuver it in the daycare parking lot. Some days-The director used to laugh hysterically at me every day watching me try to park! But mostly Iwas trying to use my best "hummer manners" :rotfl: in an effort to give Hummer drivers a better rep!

Just back from the gym. You know...the right music makes all the difference. Like this is some kind of news flash! I could never motivate to workout and now....HGP bought me an ipod for Christmas and wow- I have THE best playlist that keeps me going. I ellipticaled(is that a word?) for 25 mins then I treadmilled for 25 minutes then lifted legs and abs. I just wanted to earn my glass of wine tonight!

Gotta hit the shower. I will be checking back soon to see if Suzie posted any news!

Great day all!
PJ

CG, as far as the Queen goes, I always get in trouble when I say this but here goes, she continues to get better looking as the years go by, I am a very lucky man, but also please lets try not to feed that ego, I do have to live with her ya know.

Mom2cobysid, (sorry I get this weird feeling just calling you mom) I saw that your from Columbus and play soccer, our oldest played in the Warrior Classic in Dayton last year over Memorial weekend and is scheduled again this year. My indoor team won its first game last night 8 to 4 and of course me and the ladies were having dinner with my Dad so of course they said they don't need me anymore. We eat, breathe, sleep and whatever else you can do soccer, Linds (oldest child) thinks that she will some day play in the Olympics, and we will do whatever we can to help her.

PhillyJen, tell Patrick that he needs to take two seconds out of his busy day and check in, we know how witty he is, so tell him he doesn't have to perform for us.

CG, We will be at Grills on April 1st for dinner and to watch the Magic sail away without us, but I think we would be more than interested to join up the night before. That was our plan 2 years ago, but as you called us Boozers, Pango and I had a few to many Goombay Smashes and Click Beers that day to go anywhere but the Ron Jon.

Oh Julie, thanks for the information on Beachwood, I am coming in the night before just for a morning meeting the next day then back to Michigan, I know that we Michigan people are only allowed into Ohio for short periods of time. I will try to check out Legacy Village, even as a guy I do like to shop, I know sort of weird but you guys haven't met Pango either, that dude can shop.

Also everyone count in Abby as a Dora fan, she even likes Carlo (that is what I call Diego, and boy she gets mad). Well off to get ready for a trip to Soccer Zone for an indoor game for number 1.
