OK - so with the help of my absent husband from these boards we have chosen:

DIS NEY MAGICAL MEMORIES

(I put in the word Disney and they didn't kick it back so I will try and get this)

The bands will be lime green with glow in the dark inside. The total for each band is now $1.95 plus $0.25 for the glow-in-the dark (total $2.20/per band)** [this is a change from my last post - these guys keep getting more expensive, I am sooo kicking myself right now for not ordering it right away] - shipping is very reasonable (it was only $8.00 for the imaginary 80 bands I put in for a test order) and may add a few more cents per band but I can't figure it out until I know exactly how many I am ordering.

For all the newbies, this was our idea on how to identify us all - as opposed to T-shirts or other paraphenalia, this seemed like a nice thing to be able to wear every day and have a souven ear.

OK - here is the order list thus far:

Ohsodisney: 2 adults, 2 children
PhillyJen: 4 Adults, 4 Children
Tom & Julie: 2 adults, 3 kids
Suzievma: yes (no sizes picked but I am guessing you want 2 adults and 1 child size)
Ohjulie: yes (no specific order)
Inthemood: Yes (no specific order)
PartyPat: 3 large, 9 medium, 2 small (you get the prize for most specific order)
mketting: 12 large, 6 medium, 2 small (and yet again, you share glory with Pat - you two I think are blood sisters)
STEVEMED: yes (4 only - no specific sizes)
mousecrazy: 2 large, 1 medium, and 1 small
carolina_yankee: 2 large
Lisa D: 4 Large

Oh and Little Lady Lisa piped up for ideas, which were used in the end result, but failed to oder any for herself!


COMMENTS, COMPLAINTS, ETC., CAN BE REFERRED TO MY SECRETARY - just kidding, let me know what you all think.

Here is the info on the bands for the newbies - I now have to get off my *** and do this - their site says that due to the Chinese New Year they will now have lag times in shipping, especially for the filled in word ones like we want. They say it will be 4 weeks for the shipping times now.

I will have to order in groups of 20 so we will have extras - probably 1 extra in size small, 2 extra in medium, and 5 extra in large if the counts stand (and I did it right).

As for payment, I think we will just have to go with sending me a check when I get them in and I will mail it off to you.

Spent 3 1/2 hours in the dentist chair this morning getting 2 root canals. Luckily, I took the whole day off. To make me feel better I stopped and shopped a little on the way home before the novacaine wore off.

After season shopping is the way to go. Most all of the clothes Meg will be bringing, other than the formal dress, we got at the end of last Summer. I actually got my gown at Penneys in Dec. clearanced from $150 to, get this $14.77.. I love to get dressed up, as do my mom and sister, so we are doing the full tilt formal night, tuxes for the guys and gowns for the girls. The last time we were all that dressed up together was my sister's wedding 10 years ago. Kirk is concerned about how heavy my suitcase is going to be he said "There is a weight limit you know!"

CG- My sister will be on the coast Fri. night but we'll be over near Universal staying at Westgate Lakes Resort for our 3 nights before the trip. I'm sure Ryan will be bringing some of his Thomas' as well on the trip. I can't even guess how many hundreds of $$ worth of Thomas stuff he now has, my sister is hoping this fascination last for at least a few more years. The funny thing is he even loves just looking at pictures of Thomas. He'll carry around for days a flyer that has engine pictures on it. On his birthday she didn't even cut his Thomas birthday cake, he loved it so much.

Sorry about the root canal....what a bummer, but I'm sure it's for the best. Gotta love them pain killers!

No, not me, but I have always wanted to. But 20 or so of these 90 pages are me bemoaning deciding whether we can afford this trip right now this year so doing that is waaaaay out of the budget. I'll bet the trip over to Anguilla will be beautiful! We could see the island inthe distance, I think I recall, when we did the Golden Eagle.

oh, as for Lost, I did not like last week's episode - it was painful to watch as a Mommy, but I loved the Eko episode. I don't know where the heck they are going with this. It seems they write the thing by the seat of JJ Abrams pants most weeks. Its gripping, but what the heck happened to the machine like thing that eats people, what happend to the polar bears, what happend to the French woman????? I am a fan of JJ Abrams, but sometimes he doesn't tie things together real well.

Hear ye! Hear ye! I have set up a private website group for family pictures (so we really know what Tom looks like without the three Princesses and His Hottie Queen!) and arrival information. I thought this might be a good idea since it would be private and no one need be afraid of posting pics. It's all free and if you're interested, please PM me with your email address so that I can "invite" you to the group. This way we can figure out a Park Side meet for those of us wanting to do a Meet-n-Greet before the cruise (I'll handle that side) and the Port Side people can put in their two cents (CG will handle that side). We can also set up our MnG on the ship and post the results there. I would also like to have a running list of everyone and their information (like the one CG has been doing but we can just update as we go instead of reposting it).

Hope this sounds okay to everyone. And that I'm not stepping on toes. Time is getting close, we will be getting more "faces" here, and trying to keep up is getting crazy! Newbies can be invited to the "group" as they come.

Well, Well, Well, a guy has board meetings today and then you gals throw up 3 pages before he can respond, I see how it is. I had to take Pats advice and get out a pen and paper to take notes about what I wanted to reply to, it is only going to get more difficult, but isn't it fun. Alright here we go who is first.

Jewelgrrl, as far as the character breakfast goes it is almost impossible to tell when it is, because it will follow the first day at sea after your first time in A.P. so if your dining rotation is APL you will have your CB on Sunday, if you are a LAP your CB will be on Monday, and if you are PLA you will have your CB on Thursday. So unless you know what your rotation is you won't know your CB until you find out, sorry I sort of rambled but it is the best I got.

Oh Julie, I hope you have a great time in Chi Town, the Queen and I love going there and they have the greatest resturants. I (actually the Queen checked out) the Legacy shopping place on line, and I definately think I am going to try to check it out. It looks a lot like a mall that we have in Lansing called East Town, with a mix of shopping and resturants. Thanks for the info.

PhillyJen, the picture of the girls dancing sure brought back some great memories, I really enjoyed that night, actually I really enjoyed every night and every day. Tell Head Gear that we are still waiting, his insight is needed and much appreciated, I love the T-shirt ideas, it has been quite a while since I have drunk dialed you, maybe to long?

CG, we are not doing any excursions either, kids are still just to young, but I think we are planning on heading up to Paradise Point on St. Thomas for a few Bush Wackers, you are more than welcome to join us. I think we are in for Grills on Friday, I love that place and can't wait to see the Magic leave and hear the horn.

Suzie, You want a website with pictures, oh I have pictures, this will be a family website though right? The Queen and the girls are very photogenic, where I always have to make sure the double chins are tucked in and that I don't have my dorky smile that I am known to get during pictures. There are very few good pictures of me, probably because I know I don't take good ones so I always act goofy in them.

Pat, need some good wine cheap sent very quickly, I have decided that you and I might end up being best friends (with your wine connections and of course me babysiting your son and nephew). Congrats on the BL, I am struggling but determined.

Alright, I think I should be done after all this rambling I have been doing, plus I think the Queen is posting on her computer so I better hurry to get mine in first.

Belle and Rella's Dad- I know the Warrior Classis all too well. I actually played in that tournament in high school many years ago. My brother and I grew up all around soccer. We lived it and breathed it as you are doing now! I'm glad to read that you are not a Wolverines fan- my husband is an OSU Alumni and my mom works there we are all about the Buckeyes

On a funny note, I asked my husband if he would want a wrist band as a souvenir of the cruise and explained about how it would identify others that posted to this thread as part of the Disboards. He responded that I was the one on the boards and he wouldn't know anything about anyone if they came up to him. I then said that I was going to order one for me, my mom, and the kids. He then said he didn't want to be the only one without one so I better order him one too. I knew he would come around. He will probably know more about everyone than he realizes just from me talking about the posts.

I've heard people have success with it and others don't so it sounds like a don't count on it but they do have autograph and picture sessions onboard and boy are there alot! Tori got so sick of people taking her picture!

On another note, a cool thing they did in the OC on our last cruise was that they got a DCL pillowcase to color and keep! Tori had a bit of "help" from a "friend" and got to do another one, so we got two!

We will be in Dayton 3 weeks after the cruise, we have had some great times when traveling with the soccer team for tournaments. I am sorry that you guys are Buckeyes, what is a Buckeye anyway, isn't it some type of hairy nut? Just Kidding, we were actually in Covington KY, one night on our way back from my folks in North Carolina and I was wearing my State cap and some guy said you are so lucky. I had no idea what he was talking about until we watched sports center in the hotel and MSU had beaten OSU and ended up costing them the national championship in football. I really don't mind Ohio State, especially in Basketball, because they are always good for us to get 2 wins each year from. Tell Dad2cobysyd we will have to have a drink on board and discuss the dominance of the Spartans over the Buckeyes.

Hey, walk me through how to put up the info about arrivals and pertinent state room info. I belong to several groups - my soccer team has one too and my favorite digital scrapbook designer, but they are simple sites.

On the note about the pillow cases - I plan on doing it. I am torn, though between a matte frame for a picture or a pillow case. But nevertheless, I will be doing something like this - that way I don't have to kill myself getting in every line. Lines for autographs aren't my son's thing the last time we went to the World. He was fine with a few but he just didn't care too much. He's more about just seeing them - and he is dying to see the Princesses. Did I tell you guys that he cried at the end of Beauty and the Beast last Friday - he told me when I asked him if he was all right that, "sometimes you cry when you are happy, Mommy". Isn't he the sweetest?
