As I asked before, does anyone know anything about it being the last days of Carnivale on St. Martin? The website for St. Martin mentions it, but doesn't give any specifics, such as the date, but I'm sure its happening around the time we are there.
And sorry about the HUGE picture and email. I was just SO excited about my new Flamingo. I've told my friends and family that I only want unique flamingos after being overrun with every flamingo you can find on the open market, and this was a unique one.
Mketting: Plants are still growing here, but I'm starting to see the weak ones perish SLOWLY and die. Maybe its better to watch them go quickly. Tonight its supposed to get down into the high 20's. They'll probably be goners by daylight. Nothing worse than a slow death in the garden.
CG: I know what your going through as to the bedwetting. Been there, done that. You just have to let it run its course. Some children have a problem for a very short time and others seem to last forever. Wish I had the option of pullups when my children were growing up. But each to their own. You handle things as they happen, and do what you think is best.
As to all you sickies, it hasn't hit the West Coast yet, but I'll warn everyone.
My company and I and my coworkers (theres only 3 of us in my office) had our Christmas party for all our clients tonight. We had it in a tasting room on the square of my town. Amazing how many clients showed up. Guess it was the right time of the week. We ran out of appetizers early and I think everyone was enjoying the wine by the end of the night. Hopefully, they will bring me their next deal. Nothing like living in a small town to bring out the best of all intentions of a posperous new year.
BellandRella'sDad: I also thought you HAD your own boat. What a great thing that would have been. I was getting ready to ask how may people you could fit on it and having dreams of sailing into the sunset. I have a friend whose home for holidays who is a captain and hires himself out to sail other peoples dreams (namely the rich). I asked him if he could recommend anyone on St. Thomas or St. Martin that would take my family (14) for the day on a personal sail around the islands. I haven't got his reply yet, but I'll let y'all know when I do. I've heard the daysails are fantastic if you have the option of telling the captain where you want to go and not be a the mercy of a planned sail.
Still haven't figured out how to reduce my pictures. Help?
