PhillyJenn

My weigh in is later today. Will reply then.

Congrats to you both! Awesome!

weigh in:

0 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Oh yeah - I'm tellin ya - I will be great motivation for everyone as not an ounce is likely to shed off these hips - I wear it well, though. :guilty:

We were all sick since Thursday so it was alittle hard to do anything, plus with all the dental work I only made it ot the gym once last week.

Suzie - we are going down on Thursday, staying with rented points at VWL for one night, and then over to Cocoa Beach for Friday night, so I say come early. We will then be staying in Cocoa Beach again on Saturday night and flying on Sunday.

CG - sounds good. We want to stay at WL for a few then come back and stay at Poly or BC/YC. Will have to see what's up. Will let you know so that we can hook up - possibly dinner? Not sure days, etc. but we're working on it!

Just got back from my neighborhood walk. Good weather today, so seemed like a better idea than my treadmill inside! Did 3.2 miles in 35 minutes with about a thirty second jog on a hill - OMG! It just about killed me!!! May I just say that I have a great neighborhood? The man cutting his lawn came over to ask me if I was Okay as I was bent over almost on the ground trying to catch my breath! LOL! I'll have to make sure I send him Christmas cookies.....

Well, since the computer screen is fogging up and I'm killing myself here, let me go jump in the shower. Gotta pick up Tori from school and go weigh in. I know I didn't do as well as I should have (McD's for dinner last night but it tasted soooo good!!) so I'm a bit worried. Wish me luck!

Hey! I've got some great recipes from a friend recently! I've had them at her house for dinner and wanted them for at home. Would be willing to pass on if anyone wants them! Good chicken ones, for sure!!

Hi-ho, hi-ho, It's off to the shower I go.....

I came by here yesterday and didn't want to be the first to post.. The big 0 lbs lost :guilty:

Oh well there is always this week!!

CASTLEGAZER.. Rub humphrey's nose for me! WL is our family's favorite! :dog2: (this smilie looks more like a bear to me than a dog!) Oh to be back at the Lodge..................................

snap out of it... I gotta get back to cleaning!

So, I did better than I thought - 1.2 lbs!!! Yeah! It may be slow, but it is going!

DH called while I was picking up Tori. He asked if we were going to stay near the ship on the way out and at Disney after - what timing!!! So, we are really up in the air - we keep flip flopping back and forth.

So, the poll today is where do you stay and why.

Hi everyone! Good Job SuzieMVA on your loss! Inthemood and Castlegazer-don't get discouraged! Slow and steady wins the race....

Now mind you-I just ate an entire Dark Swiss Bittersweet chocolate bar....to celebrate my loss-so I guess I have probably "found" it again! You know one bite leads to another and then another.....and of course I am sick to my stomach now!

How about let's weigh in on Mondays! I would prefer fridays-but mentally I think that gives me a reason to splurge on the weekend..BAD BAD ME!

Great day all!
PJ

Weigh in report -0 pounds! I was doing really well until Ithe weekend!

Too much wine and appetizers. We went to a wine tasting Saturday night and I had a "girls night out" on Friday.

Tom and Julie - Sounds like you had a great time! I noticed that all of your best memories are watching the kids - isn't that what it is all about? I can't wait to meet you two - it looks like you guys know how to live! :cool1:

O.K. - I've gotta run. Off to Chicago on business.

Today's Poll- We we aren't sure where we are going to stay. My parents are staying at the Grand Vista for 4 nights before the trip and we will be flying down 3 nights prior and visiting Universal all day Thurs. and a few hours on Friday and then dinner at Ohana's (my DS's 7th birthday) on Friday night. We plan on doing several excursions on the cruise and so don't want to spend a lot for the hotel. Any suggestions, particularly near the Grand Vista?

I was all in for the biggest loser deal and then I started thinking (never a good thing in my world), instead of dieting I need to start training. With all the great food we are going to be eating, I will have to start eating 5 meals a day just to be able to bulk up for all the food. We will be having a full breakfast everyday, followed by a midmorning snack (probably a drink of the day with some fruit), then a great lunch (could be sit down or Jimmys favorite a "Buffet"), afternoon Plutos Pizza, chicken fingers or ice cream. Then lets start to get ready for dinner, first a starter from room service, plate of cheese with a glass of wine maybe, then off to the dining rooms where you will start with an appetiser (spelled wrong sorry wife), then either soup or salad, an entree or two follow by the desserts (notice plural). After dinner a glass of wine or beer during the show, followed by some dancing, and of course another round of room service just to settle the cravings.

I am sorry but someone here needs to speak the truth, I plan on being a wreck by the time the Cruise comes just so I can eat and eat and eat.

BTW, we have a lurker on board :rolleyes1 Little Lady Lisa reads these boards every day and is not posting, when I had my piece of Strawberry Rubarb pie last night at dinner she said to me "I thought that you were watching what you eat" well the only place that I had put that was here. She needs to be called out and start joining in so how about we all say Hi to Little Lady Lisa  .

Party Patty, I forgot to tell you Welcome Aboard, we should have a great time.

Oh Julie, (I like writing it that way) thank you very much for the kind words, the girls are the reason we do what we do, I think that could be said for all of us here, but that was a very nice compliment, thank you. Hope you have a great time in Chicago, it is one of our favorite cities, I had an apartment there for about a year that I was at every other week, I love to visit but after that I don't know if I could live there. Plus with that American Girl store, I would be more broke than I already am, that place has a cult following and my kids and wife are a part.

PhillyJen, two things, the thong story and get HeadGear involved, we need a little input from Patrick.

Tom pirate:

yesterdays poll. ( so I'm a day late)

We are thinking the Hyatt or Ron Jons, any input? I think it depends on if we arrive on Thursday night or Friday.
I wish southwest would post there flights for April / May already!!!

My son will be seven also, it seems that there are a lot of girls and not so many boys on this trip!

Belle&RellasMom
Was it packed at the parks for you? We really want to hit F&W festival next year, but were are afraid of the crowds!

I'll talk to you all later!

Last time I was down in Cocoa Beach I drove around Ron Jon's and was pretty impressed - my only problem was the lack of beach access but the pool makes up for it. So I say it a good place to go, plus it has suites.

I have found out that I have massive hunger issues by 10:30 in the morning if I have anything but Granola for breakfast. I had cheerios this morning and I am sitting here dying. The vending machines are soooo close..........

Alright, already you guys are having a good influence on me. I am not going to do it - plus the Halloween candy coming in from everyone has dried up so this should be a good week. I just can't resist it when it sits in baskets outside my office.

To answer the QOTD from yesterday - we stay in my sister's condo in Cocoa Beach - but when at Disney we prefer the FTW cabins the best (but I have a feeling that is about to replaced by a love of the VWL). Last trip we stayed at PoP and well, that won't happen again - it was only for two nights but it was 2 too many.

My prince would take offense!

Here's a recent pic of the kids:

(oh and there is only two kids - some people were confusing this - I have a son and a daughter)

You can click on my name on the page and you will see my gallery which has a Halloween LO of all of us - I have my hair parted funny as I was pretending to be Hermione.

We've got a watch thread up on hte Transportation board. Subscribe to it. I am dying waiting for them! They are basically locking us in regardless of the price we get when the rates come out.

Hello everyone! Wow... Biggest loser contest seems to be going well for all! Slow and steady will work wonders. 1-2 pounds losed per week will really add up come curise time.

PJ - Funny thing... I probably could have talk to HGP at ESPN zone and not realized who he was. It's been too long!!

TT - That cruise diet sounds a lot like my day to day diet! A little more beer needs to be added though.

CG - It helps to break up your meals into 5-6 small meals. This has been key for DW. She is able to eat (and eat food she likes) just not as much in one serving and still lose weight with out being hungry.

Have a great day everyone!

Bow Tie Joe,

Sorry I did not get a longer chance to talk to you the other night, I could barely hear you over LoverBoy at the Food and Wine Festival (or as my 9 year old calls them "the loverboys"). We definately need to get together and try out that diet together, how about using some of your vacation club points and joining us the first week of April next year at Vero Beach? I just called yesterday to get some friends in for Spring Break and it is still available.

It is funny to hear a skinny guy like you give dieting advice, maybe I should start calling you Richard Simmons. Also, HeadGear really doesn't exist, PhillyJen just picked up some guy who couldn't handle his liquor (see A1A) to be her partner for the last cruise, until we see some more proof I don't believe.

CG, we are heading to the Ron Jon the day before the cruise, they do have beach access, but it is all the way down past the pool complex. My boy Pango and his Queen have hooked us up, they stayed there last Spring Break and bought into their Vacation Plan. Also stay strong with those hunger pains, I was just goofing about eating all the time, someone here just made popcorn, I am going to have to beat them because that means 4 more people will make it now.

In the mood, BTW love the moniker, the food and wine festival only was really busy on the weekend, we went around during the day twice, and there was hardly a wait at any of the food booths. We had a wonderful time and are planning already on doing it again in 07, we already have Thanksgiving of 06 planned so it will have to wait for 2 years.

Philly Jen, I have called you out twice now, where are you? I just looked at the pictures from the last cruise and we did have a great time.

Tom pirate:

Thanks CASTLEGAZER

That would be to funny, We could be on the same plane! Providence? or as us locals know it as TF GREEN.

I'm gonna go check out the transportation board now... Thanks for the tip!

In the mood, BTW love the moniker
It was on when I first signed up... I tried a bunch of different ones and they were all taken, so just for a laugh I put in inthemood and sure enough no one had it. So I kept it!

Thanks for the F&W info!

TT-I don't know where you get off calling me out....I have been keeping these boards alive in your absence....along with the rest of the big loser club!!!

Ohhh Headgear exists...I had to listen to him ALL night go on and on about the GD Cowboys! It was such a heartbreaking loss for the Eagles last night. I really thought they were going to pull this one out! I took off my shirt and they started losing......go figure...

My EAGLES SHIRT you filthy mind!!

Anyway-the thong story(to which your wife witnessed.)... will have to wait, I am not sure if it would be appreciated by everyone. She was watching me-she admits later :rotfl2: If she had just said, HEY don't put your gently worn(so much nicer than the word "dirty") underwear in that BAG it contains Mermaid Patty's souviners and Skyler's doll clothes....I might not have sent them to Syracuse with Mike and PAtty.......Perhaps I can go back into our old posts and just cut and paste cause they details have gotten a bit fuzzy to me. I never did get those undies back.....

Katie and I walked the neighborhood today passing out invitations for my Holiday Jewelry Open House, that counts as exercise....right?....the fact that I had to practically chase her on her bike wasn't fun.

The poll question: we are staying by the airport the night before with Mermaid Patty and Budwiser Mike because we want to treat the kids to a long a$$ limo ride the next morning! At least long enough to finish our Champagne bottle this time! I have left the details up to Patty, the TA!

Gotta run, chat soon!

PJ
