BLBCB- Speaking from someone who rarely gets snow... I am sooo envious!!! We LOVE to ski and only get to ski at Christmas and vacations! We are in the process of planning our Christmas at my Grandmother's house in Fredonia NY, which is on Lake Erie-THERE'D better be SNOW!!!

I can't believe it is almost the holiday's! My daughter has 6 more days of school left before her Thanksgiving break!WOW!

I talked to my husband last night and he is in for 20 lbs on the "Disney Magic Biggest Loser" contest! I am really surprised. I was thinking this morning that I would have him take my picture in my bathing suit-just hanging all out :scared1: so that I have a comparison picture to show someday....if it becomes necessary! Now how is THAT for scary!!!

Alright, off to make more jewelry! I have a $2500 order that I have to deliver tomorrow and I am almost done! YAY!!! Good Luck "LOSERS!!!!".

PJ

OK - this is cool - I hope it works for me because its been 10 years that I have been saying, I only need to lose 30 pounds - guess they have gotten really attached to me.

Gotta run, but I will come back with a proper welcome to our newbie shortly.

Okay, walked 28 minutes on the treadmill yesterday and "jogged" two minutes! I know that doesn't sound like much but for me - who hasn't been on the treadmill in weeks - that's alot! 2 miles! Felt more like 20! And I can't bellieve I jogged for two minutes! 30 seconds and I'm usually winded! WOW! Personal best for me right now. Unfortunately, I'm feeling a bit under the weather today (sinus issues with all the leaves off the trees) so I'm dragging a bit today. All the good I did yesterday is nothing for today - bummer!

So, was curious from last cruise about my formal wear. Tried on one of my dresses and it was huge! I looked at the size and it's 2 more than what I'm wearing now! Made me feel so good about myself, just when I feel so yucky. I really am going to try walking everyday again. I can drop 2-4 pounds a day doing that as long as I keep on my diet! That was a bit difficult at Disney but, hey, it was vacation, right? Did I tell you we went to Beaches 'n Cream? Oh my!!!! The icecreams are huge!!!!
DSCN2114.jpg
At least we didn't get the Kitchen Sink! A few did though and it's huge!!!
DSCN2116.jpg
I DID NOT finish that monstrosity - not even half of it! UGH! I can't imagine anyone could.

Well, off to finish laundry. Temperature dropped about 15 degrees from yesterday so we are inside people today! Lots to do and not feeling up to doing it. We'll be fine but you know how it is when you don't feel 100%......

To the Thread and apparently to the Magic Biggest Loser Contest too partypat!

Your screen names seems to fit in with the returning cruisers from last year.

I will only be able to get to the gym once this week. I do 20 minutes on the elitical and then the speed zone for weights for 20 minutes.

Suzie you are lucky that those formal outfits seem big - mine are 2 sizes too small for me now. The last cruise we took I wore maternity clothes so my formal dresses are from our Honeymoon cruise - now that is a tall bill to live up to and drop to.

I have more dental work being done today at lunch time.

I am a huge fan of Yoga too - I do it usually on Fridays and at home when I can - my son loves to watch the Yoga videos for some reason.

BTJ - I checked out the plan your wife is doing and it looks very good - basically I am trying to do the same thing - long ago I switched any white bread or white food in our house to wheat and when I try and lose weight I do a modified Atkins or South Beach thing. It works great for me.

Suzie - I am so impressed with your loss! I have the same issue as CG, my formal dress is way too tight right now - unless I can stop breathing :rotfl:

Hey - 2 minutes of jogging is great, especially when you are not used to it. It's amazing how strenuous jogging is compared to walking on the treadmill. I am trying to walk for 8 minutes and jog for 2 for a total of 30 or 40 minutes on the treadmill.

I have not made it to Yoga class yet this week, life has a way of messing with our plan doesn't it? My stepfather has been in the hospital since Monday and had back surgery yesterday. He is doing fine, but it is going to be a long recovery process.

O.K. - you all have inspired me - I'm off to workout before I have to get back to work! :badpc:

Suzie Congrats! Not only for losing the weight but for being able to keep it off!

I can't remember who is from the Syracuse area(SuzieMVA, maybe), but the Philly Jenn, Headgear Pat clan is headed up there this weekend for the SU game. We are originally from the Baldwinsville area and still have family and friends there! I can't wait for some cooler weather! Our friends we are staying with live in Radisson(they are the ones we are cruising with actually) and my SIL lives in Cicero, right off of Rt 31. It is always fun when we see our friends-pre cruise. We put on some island music and just plan....

I can't work out today at the gym, my daughter is home from school and refuses to go to the child watch center without a friend or her sister(all of whom are in school right now).

CG- I am doing Somersize(yes, Suzanne Somers diet)-which sounds hysterical in theory but it is basically the same as what you are doing. Good Carbs, Good Protien, veggies, fruits, NO refined sugar or white flour. Whole wheat things are ok, as long as they are 100% whole wheat. The hardest part of the whole thing is that carbs can only be eaten with veggies or alone, and Protein the same. Fruit has to be eaten alone on an empty stomach. A spreadsheet helps.... :rotfl2: Something about different foods being digested differently. I don't know really, but....My friend swears by it, and I honestly have lost 3 lbs since Sunday! It is ALL water, but hey-I'll take anything at this point!

Anyway, off again! I am actually making progress on several fronts today. Laundry, Jewelry Orders, kitchen floor... and maybe packing if I get off my duff!

Suziemva-hope you feel better! That Sundae I am SURE would have made you feel better!

I am so sorry, where are my manners-Welcome PartyPat! Yes, my husband is the infamous Headgear Pat who makes Key Lime Martinis onboard-or who made too many KLM's onboard our last cruise(May 04)! Belle and Rella's dad gave him that nickname bc he was wearing braces(invisilign) at the time... and well, that was all he needed to hear!

Anyway, yes I am looking for ANY reason why I should go back to housework!

PJ

Alright, I GIVE UP! How exactly do I post a picture. I have some at webshots.com.....Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

In the meantime......some of you might find this humorous....the photo album entitled...."The Best OF Headgear Pat" - it is NOT for chidren! Even though some of the actors are indeed children, they are his own and he takes full responsibility for them....

Pay close attention to the last picture...as you can imagine...it wasn't a smooth Disembarkation process for our family! Also-some of you may recognize the "Guest Mickey" as Belle and Rella's dad! Julie-his queen also makes an appearance, as do Pango and Pango's Queen. Sarah as well! That's me with the psychadelic pants... actually they were pretty cool. Lt blue seersucker with little cocktails embroidered all over them. WOW they do NOT photograph well at all!

Now I really have to go!

Hey, can we start the biggest loser thing next week, some of us are still at Disney enjoying the Food and Wine Festival. BTW someone needs to let us know who got voted off the Biggest Loser show this week (we are reality junkies). Suzie it was great to meet you and Ed and Tori, had a great time talking to you and can't wait for the cruise. Had to call the the crew last night after a few glasses of wine and let them know that we were listening to LoverBoy in concert. Philly Jen, you are already the hottest chick from Philly I know especially with the whole W thing going on. Tell Headgear without the Metal in his mouth he will be 20 pounds lighter anyway.

I am in for 20 pounds before the cruise, but I will probably gain it all back on the ship :confused3

2 more days at the World and then back to the real world.

Tom pirate:

Hi PhillyJen

It's me in from Syracuse :) . It is getting pretty cold here , actually snowed a touch today . Have any exciting plans other then SU ? I can't think of anything really great going on around here , maybe go out and few a drinks .Planning the cruise sounds good to . Hey if your bored we have a 40 bar in our house , fully stocked !!!!

Well , I quit smoking over a week now ,I joined the gym and a tanning salon to get ready for our cruise in a little over 2 weeks . I burned my $$$ pretty bad thinking oh sure I can do 20 minutes in the high intensity bed , LOL needless to say I will not be tanning in the next few days and the aloe feels pretty darn good on the bum . I also did 25 minutes on the eliptical which is amazing , I think I am just that determined to get my lungs back after 23 years . I don't think I need to lose and weight just gain some muscle would be good , ( I'm sorry guys but I use to be a stick person , you know the one you drew when you were 3 ) I have to say thou I'm not that tiny anymore .

Well good luck everyone , can't wait to see the BIGGEST LOSER ! . DH is trying to lose 15 pounds I let you know how he does . We should get pictures now , well as soon as Bellaandrellasdad gets back . LETS SEE THOSE BEER BELLYS !

Suzie are you trying to get the rest of us to head to the fridge by showing the picture of the ice cream?? :cake: Well, it won't work, my freezer is empty and it is just to cold to drive to the store tonight!!

As far as dresses go I found a $150 dress for formal night priced 90% off!! :cool1: :cool1: That's just $15. The catch is it is just a tad to small to actually wear, so that's my goal, to be in that dress.

BelleandRella it was Shannon who got voted out this week, she looked great when they showed what she looks like now. I too am a reality TV Junkie. I watch the biggest loser and amazing race on Tuesday's and Survivor and Apprentice on Thursday's. That is about all the TV I get a chance to see. Hope you are having a great time at WDW.

PhiilyJen you won't be too far from us for Christmas, Fredonia is just about 2 hours from here. We will be in Pgh. though with my family for the holiday, and we can stay as long as we want.

Hee-hee...my little evil plot is to show food pics from our recent trip!!! Just kidding!

No, I am NOT from NY....sorry, I live in Northern Virginia (Lake Ridge, actually - home of Potomac Mills Mall - YUCK!) just outside of DC. Also near the autotrain to Sanford, FL. About 5 minutes from 95 South....lucky me....

Well, bad news. Think it's the flu. Got the body ache tonight...good news is that it will be over soon and I can get back on my feet and get going. Right? Right? Please.....

Next week is our 15th - yes, 15th!- anniversary! Can hardly believe it much less that we've been together 18 years!!! Boy, does that make me feel old...

Gotta go! Miller time for some, TheraFlu for me...night all!

ps - PhillyJen - click the little picture icon in your post (right under the size drop down and the color drop down) and insert the web url for you picture in the pop up that comes in on your screen. That will automatically input your pic - make sure that it's a small size though (sorry about the icecream pics! They were a bit too big!!!). The URL should look lsomething ike this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/suziemva/DSCN2114.jpg The site will automatically add the necessary items to add to your post. Good luck!

Tom and Julie - Tori was asking about Abby today and could she come over to play! She does remember her still and really wants to play! So, what's a good date for a play date????? hee-hee!

Ahhhh, much better night. TheraFlu worked wonders and I feel tons better! Maybe wasn't the flu after all!!! Yeah! I'm such a whiny-butt when I'm sick so forgive the pity party, please.

Okay, weather is gorgeous albeit cold today. Going to visit my dad with Tori. She and I baked cookies the other day for him, just haven't felt up to delivering them til now. He saps my energy with all his attitude, etc. So, we will go fill Ed's script and do some lite shopping at Target then go see him. Sad that he only lives like 2 miles from our house but that's close enough for me! Found out that he's smoking again after he told us that he quit. Doctor told him that if he started smoking again he'll die within a year and/or lose his other leg due to blood clots! What a hard head!

Our next big decision is whether we go a few days early for the cruise and stay a few days after. I would dearly love to avoid the airport rush and all it's lovliness on the weekends. We can't decide about where to stay and when to stay. I want to come in Thursday morning with a few days at Disney then to the cruise and come back to Disney again once we dock. Spring break should be over by then and the crowds better. But then we thought about staying 1 day before and after at a Cape Canaveral place so that we could be closer. So, any votes? Anyone? Anyone? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Allright, will check in later with my whiny-butt and chat...byeeeeee!!

Tom and Julie - have a safe trip home and have some champagne from France for me, would ya'?!

Alright, now I am officially dangerous!!!! Watch out..

Here is my first pic of the day!

Bwahaahahahahahahaha! Your family is such a kick! Welcome to my little corner of insanity! Just like Hotel California, You can check out any time, but you can never leave!!!

Love the photo album -- yes, I sneaked into the other ones to have a look at the pics. Fun, fun, fun!! Although one drink a night is about it for me, so I call dibs on the Sober Driver!

Can't wait, can't wait! We've a very important date! Come on April 29th!!!!!

We're Back!!! :sad1: :sad2: :( It is a sad day for Belle&Rellas Mom & Dad...we're back from Disney! But let me tell you, We had an awesome time!!! :bounce: :THE FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL ROCKED!!!!!!!! We made great time on the way home and set a new record...16 and 3/4 hours! We left yesterday morning at 8:45 am and rolled in here at 1:30 this morning...the plan was to drive part way yesterday and stay someplace in Kentucky and then finish the drive today...instead we spent our hotel money on a great dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse on Friday night and decided to drive straight thru...it was definitely worth it!!! :)

Some other highlights of the trip were: snacking and drinking our way around the World Showcase at Epcot (F&W was very cool), watching Wishes at MK from our balcony at the BCV everynight, watching the girls raise the flag on the pirate slide at Stormalong Bay with Raouf (the kids activity director who actually remembered us from our last trip), watching Abby get soaked on Kali River Rapids (she hated it), watching Sarah be able to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster for the first time (she loved it), watching Lindsey finally complete a mask at the Kidcot stops at Epcot (started many of them over the years, never actually finished one until this trip)...I could go on forever! It was a great trip!

Counting down to the next trip...137 days until Vero Beach and then 166 days until we are all sailing the Caribbean!!!!!!!!!! :boat: :boat: :boat:

P.S. It was great meeting you Suzie (and Tori & Ed)...Tori and Abby will have so much fun together in the kids club on the ship...

Hey PhillyJen...I just looked at the group picture of us from our last night (you know, the infamous Key Lime Martini night) and it reminded me of the thong story!!!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: You should tell it again! It is a great story!!!
