Goodmorning everyone - a little late as I had big meetings this morning.

What's on tap for everyone's weekend - any costume parties? We actaully have one and I will be Hermione Granger hexed with a growth spell (my costume is for a kid so its a wee bit tight) and my husband is going to be Dumbledore.

What is on tap for us this weekend, you ask??? Can anyone say SOCCER!!!!! Lindsey has her last outdoor game tomorrow (Sarah's last outdoor game was last Saturday)...then Lindsey takes a break until she starts indoor in mid-December...Sarah starts her indoor league next week, unfortunately she will miss her first two games...well, I guess it is really not too unfortunate for her since she will be at DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!

Tomorrow night we're going to a Halloween Party...costumes required! We'll post pictures so you can all laugh at us! It is hard to believe that I started this thread BEFORE Halloween last year...in fact, if you search back far enough you can see pictures of how dumb we looked at this party last year! Some of our fellow cruisers will be at this party too...Little Lady Lisa and her hubby are hosting it, Pango and his Queen will be there, so will Docs Queen and her hubby! Should be a good time!! However on Sunday we'll probably look a little bit like this

Time to order a little Chinese food, watch some movies, and get to bed early...must save ourselves for tomorrow night!!!

Let's see, what did we do this weekend? STILL WORKING ON OUR FAMILY ROOM!!!!!!!! My DH said we are never doing anything like this on our own again and we will pay someone next time. I think he added a few explitives in that statement.

The kids are excited for Trick-or-Treating tomorrow. Our neighbor has a big party for the street with potluck dinner, scavenger hunt and "hay-ride" so hopefully the weather will be as beautiful tomorrow as it was today. The kids are being pirates, the hope is that they will be careful with the costumes so we can use them for the cruise.


Swimming is our fall and winter sport. My DS,6, had his first meet yesterday. It wasn't pretty but he made it across the pool in both events without being DQed. My DD is in her second year on the team, she loves it, she is our little fish.

I am sooo excited for tonight! My son is totally into it this year. We went to a Halloween costume party Saturday night also which was AWESOME!!! The people throwing it really get into it and had decorated their house with so many cool things and made it soo spooky.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween . MKetting sounds like you life in a fun neighborhood . Are you in the country . CG and bellsdad sounds like you huys had some great plans too

My DD's Holly and Kenna's Birthday was on Halloween so we decided to celebrate their big day on Sunday and had some family & friends over for dinner and afterward not to far down the road is Beaver Lake Natural Center , they had a trail all light up with pumpkins , thousands of them and they hand out candy as you go along . Inside they had face painting and story telling food etc .

Last night we went to the mall with our friends and did our treat or treating there . Then went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner and a few blue margaritas . The kids were so cute , Kenna was a ladybug and Holly was a butterfly princess .

We are getting super excited now and the days certainly are not going by fast enough . We are down to 3 weeks 4 days till our cruise . It seems as thou our Dsiney cruise is sneaking up fast too WOOHOO

Does anyone know if parties of 2 have to sit with other guests? or do they get there own tables?

There has been some threads on this on the main forum. I think that most tables are larger than two.

Its fairly split between main and late seating between everyone posting. I asked this a little while back and can't remember exactly who has which seating, but I have main, Suzievma has main, and Sue718 has late right now and wants to switch to main, I also think ohsodsiney has late too.

Speaking of which, Sue, Sue..... where are you?????? You're not down in Disney too are you?

First of all I have no idea what is wrong with my tickers ? They were working at some point

We do have late seating but we are on a waiting list for early which I doubt will happen , oh well we'll roll whatever we get

I'm all packed and ready to go . I just lightened up our suitcases last night . I think they may have been a touch to heavy . I still can seem to thin out my shoes thou , I really do need 10 pairs HEHE . To be honest I have been packed for 3 weeks

Ohsodisney, are you kidding me??? You're packed for your RCCL cruise and you don't leave for 24 more days????? We are leaving for Disney in exactly 50 hours and I have not even started packing yet!!! I am such a last minute packer!!! Tom is due home in a couple of hours from out of town and when he realizes that I haven't even started packing yet, I will be in big trouble

By the way, we have early seating too...with eight kids in our group it will really work out best for us...

I think I am just overly excited , it has been 5 years since a real vacation . We go down to florida twice a year but thats just to DH mom's house and Busch Gardens .
I forgot you guys are leaving soon . Are you flying or driving ? How long are you going for ? I think I missed a couple posts .Anyways have a wonderful time . I am a bit envious . I think I need a vacation before my vacation LOL . I think I may have to find more things to do to fill my time up . I know we are taking the girls to see Chicken Little on Sunday , well theres one day , just 23 other days to fill

yeah but, its easier to pack for WDW than a cruise I always think - maybe I am wrong, but you can use that as an excuse when Tom gets home.

You all are the ones that I couldn't remember whether you had early or late seating - I was lazy and didn't want to scroll back.
Let's hear it for making your ressies 18 months in advance and being able to secure early seating - one benefit, that's for sure!!!!

The only thing I can figure out is that that link got banned it seems. I have no idea why, but it appears to have been x'd out in the url. So I switched to an old one and will keep trying to find new cool ones for us to use.

There is one problem with vacationing I have found, the more you do it, the more you want to do it!!!! We did 3 this year and instead of satisfying me I just want to go more!

There will be 8 kids in our group too (20 people in all), and we have the early seating. We booked last Nov. I think. Has anyone else been reading about the new boarding procedure?

I'm an early packer myself. As a matter of fact I have sorta started to pack for the cruise already. When I put the Summer clothes away I put the things we would want for the cruise in a special area and then I got a ton of great clearance summer things for my kids and added that to the cruise stuff.

Shoes are such a tough thing to pack. The boys can do with just 2 pairs but us girls seem to need a different pair for each outfit, each day. Ten pairs sounds completely reasonable to me.

Meghan, my DD, ended of sick with a fever on Halloween. TO say the least she was very disappointed to miss out on most of the fun. We don't live in the country but in a big neighborhood with sidewalks(the "hayride" is a big wagon hooked onto a van). The good news is both costumes survived the night and can be reworn for the cruise. Jared did lose the sheath to his sword but for him it is a miracle that is all that happened.

OH MY! We are back home!!!! Yeah......fun while it lasted but always good to get home. Ahhhhh....my bed, my pillow, my shower with great water pressure!!!!

Anyway, the weather was beautiful, Disney not so crowded, had lots of fun! Had a wonderful time meeting up with Tom and Julie and girls! They are just so cute! The girls, I mean! Had a great time getting to know them and can't wait to meet everyone else on the cruise! We are just going to have SO MUCH FUN!!!

BTW - Tom, sorry Michigan State lost....saw it on ESPN when we got back to the hotel....so, so sorry....

So, we are now resetting all of our clocks back an hour and crawling into bed...will do unpacking tomorrow - UGH!!!

O.K. - I started clothes shopping for the cruise this weekend. I was at the mall and my daughter fell in love with a gorgeous dress for formal night. We had to do some negotiating with Dad - but she will look like a princess. Hopefully, it will make it through Christmas and Easter in the same condition. I just have to keep her from wearing it to play in!

I am not sure who had posted before about the Sedoku puzzles - but I am totally hooked! I spent a good portion of the weekend working through one of the puzzle books. If you haven't tried them give it a shot!
