Hi Sue
I see you are from Pittsburg , thats my hubby team :O) . How old is your daughter again ? We love the photo . My one twin wears glasses too and she looks so cute in them :)

We did book the Explorer for October to Bermuda next year . It is a halloween cruise . The prices on-line are amazing for this cruise . We can drive down there so it is so reasonable . Maybe some of you can join us for this one :boat: .

Well it almost time for dinner , we are haing Sams Club meatloaf , this stuff is suprisingly good . We went apple picking today so i think I will make apple crisp too .
Have a great night everyone !

ohsodisney- Thanks--I am from Philly area, so I like the Eagles. My DH is, of course a Steelers fan.
My girl is 5, whe's had glasses since her 3rd birthday. Glad the doctors check the little ones eyes at an early age!!!
When we were on the Wonder, Natalie (DD) LOVED Snow White... and she was the most beautiful Snow White I have ever seen.
Here's a PIX

Hi Sue

I love the picture :) . My daughter got hers also when she was 3 , she does pretty good with them but they seem to slide down her little nose all the time .
Have to get back to my football games my DD McKenna picked almost all the winning teams so far, last week she was 10 and 6 . She does better then DH
:rotfl: ,

Take care

Well here we are on a Monday morning, and all is good. Michigan State is now number 11 in the nation, and hosting the boys from down the street (Michigan) this Saturday. The Queen and i are missing 3 soccer games for this game so my Spartans better show up. We only have 9 more days until Vegas, I have been researching the 99 cent Margaritas and scrimp cocktails.

If anyone doesn't want to cook tonight, which in our case is every night, Chilis is donating all of its profits tonight to Luekemia (I know I probably spelled it wrong, but it is the thought), so a very worthwile cause.

My fantasy football team is terrible, my picks are terrible, maybe McKenna could post her picks before Sunday of each week, but all in all life is good. The Queens BDay was yesterday, she hated it but looks good for 26???

Well gotta :moped: go.

Tom pirate:

Happy Birthday, Your Majesty!!!!

Good to hear about Michigan State...NOT!! Penn State is undefeated and still isn't ranked!! Hopefully they can keep this up and wind up with a good year for JoPa!! He's needed a good one for a few years now. (BTW - anyone see that Larry Johnson was arrested for manhandling his girlfriend? What is he thinking?!?!) We'll be glued to the TV on Nov 19th for the PSU/Michigan State game! Good luck against Michigan this week!

Sorry all you Pitt fans, but WE ARE PENN STATE!!!!! Go Lions!!!

Okay, got that out of my system....I'm just so proud of them this year!!!

OOOPPPPS! Gotta go, the girl is crying for me! Isn't it nap time yet?

Can't you just hear the growl now?????? I am a Nittany Lions fan. My Dad was and my Mom is a Michigan State fan.

Snow White is my absolute favorite character!!!! That is an adorable picture!!

OK - apparently we need a question of the day to spark things up around here. Ok here goes (its the best I can do on short notice):

What is your favorite domestic vacation destination?

Is is sad that I am stumped to answer my own question? I have to think on this and get back to you all because believe it or not, I don't think I would answer Florida. I love going down so it may take top billing, but I want to put some thought into this and remember days gone by without the kids.............

Great idea , it did need a spark :)

I know this is not concidered domestic but I have to say hands down ,Alaska , concidering we were married there , plus it is simply breathtaking . We are actually trying to decide when to visit again via cruise with the girls and we have come down to 2008 since we have 3 cruises booked now and I shot the 2007 budget I think . The girls will be 7 then too .

I have to mention that Arizonia takes a close second . We did alot of hiking there including the Superstition Mountains and the Kofas . The views from uptop are incredible . Unfortunalety we were there 3 times and never visited the Grand Canyon , maybe someday . that will be when we get a large camper to do some cross country traveling , and that won't happen unless the gas prices suddenly drop to $1.50 again HAHA , in my dreams .

Can't wait to hear everyone else favorate destination !!!!

Oh by the way I did some research on the Bermuda cruise we are taking on September 17th and I read that the seas are pretty rough then  . I'm just keeping my fingers crossed we are no Poseidon Adventure . I know the life jackets will be at hand , if I'm not wearing it throughout the ship , that would be a site .

Bye for now , hope everyone is having a great day !

Arizona was my favorite vacation spot when I was growing up - much more so than Florida.

Hey guys, I just braved a brand new thing. I posted a digital scrapbooking layout I did - it took a ton of nerve to do it, but I loved the way it turned out and had to share it. You can go look at it here: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?gallery=4&cmd=display&layout_id=666451

It doesn't give you a good view of my daughter, but she has this incredibly blond hair with this stunningly blue eyes - hope she gets more hair soon, though - its a bit skimpy.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice! I don't have the nerve to get started into DS because DH would kill me!! He already thinks I'm obsessed with scrapping....well, I am at times!

Favorite vacation...hmmm.....really, we enjoy all our family vacations to FL and our cruise so much but I would have to say the cruise is it. DH loved it, DD loved it and I loved it. Only been to Vegas once and that was enough for me. Lived in CO for a bit and really don't desire to go back. Went to Houston a few years back, too city for Texas IMHO. Charleston, SC was fun but that was an all girls no hubbys trip. So, summing it up, I guess we're really boring in our trips! lol!

So, let's hear some others! Where is everyone?!?!

After contemplating it overnight I will have to answer my own question with a tie between Savannah/Hilton Head area and Cruising - but since my question was for domestic vacations - ahem, Suzie - I will have to say, yeah, Savannah is it (sans kids)! Great food, great partying, and nice beaches! It makes for a very nice adult vacation spot for us. Gotta love anywhere with a Wet Willies!!

Suzie, That page cost me less that $1.00 and I am only saying it cost me anything simply because of the paper and ink costs. I am sooo thoroughly addicted right now because I can get almost any element I need for free because its a new craft and many of the designers are providing their work for free - which means free virtual paper and free virtual elements. I have hundreds of dollars worth of scrapbooking supplies taking up space in my house that I will never use but just "had" to have at the time. Digitally, I can collect like that with no regrets - just hard drive space issues. My new printer cost under $150 and it does an amazing job. All in all, this saves me money, time, and clutter space. Plus, no issues with my daughter being really oral and liking o grab and put anything into her mouth right now. Its great! Check out the digital section at Two Peas plus at this (Jen's) blog space: http://jenjen.typepad.com/digiscrap/2005/08/table_of_conten.html. Its really fun. I spend waaaaay too much time hunting and gathering freebies all day long.

wait, wait, wait, I think I changed my mind. Its been sooo long since I have done this that it has fallen to the back of my thoughts, but I have to revise and say that my favorite vacation is one to Killington or Stratton for a week long ski vacation! I love going to the Vermont pubs at night and sitting in hot tubs watching the steam rise and not to mention just skiing to your hearts content.

Since the kids were born we haven't been on a vacation like this.

Castlegazer .. I love the digital scrapbooking thats so pretty . I only wish I had time to do scap booking at home but it seems we are always so darn busy around here . I have never tried skiing but wouldn't mind trying sometime . Either that or I can just stay at one of the beautiful lodges . My sister-in-law has a hot tub and my DH our friend Brain and myself tried that thing where you stay in the tub ,get out after awhile and roll in the snow , WOW that was a shocker and I'm not so sure how good it is for your skin but it can't be good for your heart !!!!!

Has anyone else started their Halloween decorating yet :maleficen ? We just started today and the girls are having a blast with putting the ornaments on our halloween tree and putting out placemats and such . we are huge PBK's fans and I love their Holiday items . We will work on the outside hopefully this weekend . If we painted our house now usaully for the first day or so it looks orange LOL , that due to the fact we have rough cut wood siding and the cedar color always looks orange at first , I almost died the first time we did it 5 years ago , I had to go ask my neighbor what color they thought our house looked like :) she said orange HEHE .

Oh my , I am now totally contemplating changing the cruise next Semptember to Disneys not so scary Halloween . I saw some pictures and it looks amazing , I think I would have more fun then the girls !

Hi all--

We have a "family" beach house in Bethany Beach Delaware...that's our vacation spot...
I do love St Pete beach too! :sunny:

Getting all the decorations for Halloween down tonight. OCT 1 tomorrow!!!!

Just got the word from my sister, she is booked for the 4/29/06 cruise with us! She will be bringing my nephew age 7, and my mother (no age given).
This will allow us to get to Palo for sure, since we now have kid watching "back-up"!!! However-- My DD is sending a SOS out to the men... pirate: , since now he has his DW, DD, Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law on the same DECK!!!

His name is JOHN...AKA "WHY ME?" :rotfl2:

Sue ,thats wonderful . I'm sure your DH will be fine with all the other men wishing they were someplace else LOL .

Well I came back down to earth today and canceled our Bermuda trip for next September , I really think I got caught up in the cruising bug . I really would love to pay off the ole credit cards .

Oh , DD decided she wanted to be a lizard now for Halloween :maleficen , or Batman or a scary monster or a dragon :rotfl: .Like I said before my DH got his son , HEHE . Finally she said after I said no to all the above she wanted the ladybug from Gymboree , we went there and bought the ladybug 4 pc set and the fairy 4 pc set . $161.00 !!!!!!!!! . I do alot of Ebaying so I happen to see their bumble bee outfit from last year sold for $114.00 , so I thought maybe we will be ahead of the game , I doubt it but it was a comforting thought after the $161.00 !!!!!!!! . They couldn't be anything from Sams Club could they ? I wish !

have a godd night everyone :cloud9:
