I am so ready for this trip, but yet so unprepared and I am never like that. This new job threw me for a loop. I don't even have FE gifts. It will come together, but I am freaking out.

I am so excited that it is almost here. We leave in 11 days
It is 32 degrees (or zero) here today and it is snowing again
I cannot wait for some warm air and sunshine.

My FE gifts are coming along, I just need to sit down and actually finish them.
I am actually more concerned with the fact I haven't finished the dress for the Wedding. All that's left are the hems.

Hello Everybody We leave this weekend for Florida. We will be spending time with relatives on the west coast of FL before the cruise. I have the FE stuff all together. My son has been worried about the dress up night--Anyone who has been on a Disney cruise-- How dressy do the men have to be?? On other cruises I have been on suit would work-or even just a nice shirt and tie. On the last two cruises, one Carnival and one RCI a lot of men had nice shirts with ties and no suit coat. Just curious. I will be gettting the suitcase out this week after a number of appts etc. I still have 2 weeks worth of lesson plans to write for my classes for while I am gone. I am looking forward to warmer and hopefully dryer weather. We have been cold and wet for quite a while. I really hate the mud. Of course in August I will be complaining about hot and dry. We will be able to keep in touch up until we meet on the 26th!!! It won't be long now!

The 4 night cruises are not too dressy at all there is no actual Formal or Semi Formal night. My DH wore khakis and a polo shirt for the dinners. If you want to get him to dress up I would think that a nice shirt and pants without a tie would be dressier than khakis and a polo shirt.
I actually have more trouble getting DH to dress up for pirate night than I do having him wear a suit on formal nights

Hi Everyone! Getting close. So what piratey outfits does everyone have the adults that are dressing accordingly?!

Oh I cannot wait. I am so glad that it is the weekend then I only have 5 more days of work left. I can use the holiday.

I could not convince DH to dress up for pirate night. I will be wearing my Pirate Mickey ears and some regular clothes DH doesn't know it yet but he will be wearing Pirate Goofy ears. One day I will get him to dress up though.

How's everyone's packing going?

We're pretty much done. Only some last minute stuff left.

We are in SW FL now and the grandsons are enjoying the beach and they are chasing lizards a lot. We don't have big waves in MO (actually none) and the boys are having a ball on the beach. Sat we will be at the Radissson-maybe we will meet some of you there. We can't wait for Sunday! The FE's are packed and the vehicle has been washed and is ready. See you all soon.

Oh, I am packing right now. I just logged to check the list. I don't know about you, but when I shopping for FE gifts I did not have a list so, I guessed. I bought a lot of FE stuff and I would like to bring exactly what I need.

Pirate costumes - Well I made an outfit for all of us, but DH can't seem to find his pirate vest and sash that I made. Explain to me how one mind lose something like that? Anyway, someone asked what I was wearing here is my costume:

Radisson - We are staying there, but we have a late flight. Not the time I wanted, but the price was right. We don't land in Orlando until 7pm. I think Port Canveral is an hour from the airport. Geez, I still need to load my addresses into the GPS too. Ahhhh, it never ends.

Ok, I think I am all packed. Just the last minute morning supplies. I am hoping I can get a 5 mile run in tomorrow morning before we drop the dog off. I am wayyy off for this trip. I usually have all my ducks in a row and clean cut plan. Not happening this time. I even forgot to check us in for the airline. Who knows if we will be sitting together on the plane.

I'm so excited!!!! But not yet packed! Love your pirate outfit, our2girls. My husband's outfit is a surprise. I made a white shirt with big ruffly cuffs and collar. Can't wait to see him in it. I also got the bandanna hat with dreadlocks. Hope he'll put it on. Made my outfit too. Think he'll like it.

Did anyone plan a meet onboard?

Thanks! We are at the Radisson tonight and board tomorrow. The boys are really excited. So far while in FL they have seen a stingray, some manatees and lots of dophins,and had ablast 0n the beach. Thanks for the pixie dust.

Hi fellow Wonder cruisers! We just got back home and had a 'wonder'ful time. Hope you all did too. I wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to those who participatd in the FE's. My grandsons had a ball checking theirs! I hope you all could use your photo albums and enjoyed the small treat from California MO. We really appreciated the thoughts and time you all put into the gifts. I plan on saving our FE to hopefuly use on a later cruise. In Nassau we went on a dophin encounter that we all enjoyed. Castaway Cay was so relaxing. The grandsons loved playing in the sand and water. Hope to hear from you all about your cruise. Have a good week!!

Hi everyone! We just got home a few hours ago. I want to also thank everyone for the FE gifts, my kids got a kick out of having surprise gifts just about everyday. We had such a good time. As soon as I get some pictures uploaded, I will share.

So we just got back after midnight so this is the first I've gotten on. This was probably the best trip I've ever had!

Tracy, as promised here are the pics we took with you and the girls.

Our last night onboard we had to rebook. At this point we don't know when we'll take another trip but it will happen.

I hope everyone else had just as much fun.
