Come celebrate with me I just got a call from DH - we got our cabin assignment. We were gty12 and got upgraded to Cabin 2539 I'm so excited, I can't contain myself. Is anyone near us?

Thanks for the tip to check - we got our assignment today as well. Small upgrade to a cat 10. We're on deck 1 - that seems so weird to me. Not even sure that I've ever been on the top deck of a ship before I'm just glad to have an assignment - it feels real now

nevermind - I think deck one is at the bottom of the ship, not the top

Congratulations! Ours is also a small upgrade to cat 10, but my thought is any upgrade is a upgrade.

We would love to go to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville when we arrive in Orlando the afternoon of April 24. Can anyone tell us the easiest and cheapest way to get there?

I think we will be eating there on night of 23rd. I know a Taxi to Universal from the airport is approx $37 one way. Renting a car for a day is approx $40. Use rental codes from mousesavers.com

Tracy welcome to the boards and to our group. Hope your son is well and my DD is 10 and is excited for another 10yo. DH is not a planner and we our going to wing it on Tortola. We have been there 3 times. I would either see the beaches on Tortola or go to the Baths if everyone is mobile (lots of walking). I think St. John is my favorite place on earth so far. We have yet to see St. Thomas so I am torn from going to my favorite place or finding a new favorite place I think we are going back to St. John and maybe trying Cinnamon Bay?
We are all going to meet in the Promenade Lounge at 3:30 on Sat. The kids can get together then. We have agreed to order wrist bands as a group $1 each and you can still sign up for that. We are going to wear them the first few days so we can recognized each other. The details are back a few pages. There is also a link to the kids thread so your kids can chat.

So pixiedust does work! So many people received upgrades! That is great

I have not had the time to explore our excursion options. But I did book the Getaway Package for Castaway Cay (bike, snorkel, float). We did the jet skis last time and had a blast. I want to relax a little bit more on this trip. Does anyone here geocache? There are 3 on Castaway Cay and I would like to do that while we are there. (www.geocaching.com)

I'll be able to take a better look at Tortola and St. Thomas excursions next week. Since we haven't been to either, anything we see will be new. I thought I saw some island tours that include some forests and beach areas...I don't know...I'll look next week. Work wise, I am working 12 + hours a day right now, taking tonight off though. That will end on Sunday and I can concentrate on dreaming and planning this cruise!

Alrighty then...gotta go catch up some other stuff. Everybody enjoy your evening.

Even if you aren't doing the wristbands, I encourage you to come to the Cruise Meet in the Promenade Lounge at 3:30 on the first day!! We'd like to get everyone in the group photo plus get updates on any cabin changes at check-in! We don't want to give FE gifts to the wrong people if somone gets an upgrade at check-in!!

I don't want to give something pink to a boy) I have been looking at the deck plans on the disney site and planning my route. This is going to be my exercise. I noticed most people are near elevators (We are the last inside on the port side of deck 7, but very close to the secret balcony. Oops not a secret any more (smiles)
Looking forward to meeting all at the meeting on Sat at 3:30

You can also pay for a discounted upgrade at port.

As CKCruising said, Jordan is a girl and so is Casey. If I counted right, there are 11 girls, 8 boys, and 37 adults. 8 adult only staterooms and 12 staterooms w/kids.
