4/25/09 Magic - First Visit To Tortola!

Where do you get these at? Never seen them at the Disney Stores? :wizard:

I just booked with Disney for the April 25th cruise. I am new to all of this and was wondering who you all booked with? I'm asking because I am thinking of transfering it to Dreams Unlimited. Your thoughts? Any information will be helpful. Thank You.

We had to cancel our booking for this cruise. We won't be joining you. :( I just took a new job, and it financially works out better to postpone a year. Have fun and enjoy!

Welcome nroush313! We booked while on the Wonder in April but we still might transfer for more onboard credit.

My partner and I just deposited today for this cruise! We are so excited and it will be my first cruise ever and the first Disney cruise for us both. It will be a birthday trip for me so I am excited. We are planning to add some WDW resort time to our trip too. Anyone have any advice as to whether it is best to schedule that before or after a cruise? Just in terms of flow, etc.

Excited to be joining you all! Is it April yet???

welcome Pooh'stwin.;)

I've done the parks before & after the cruise& really it doesn't matter to me. Last cruise I did the parks after the cruise because I wanted to be at there during Christmas.

You may want to go to the resorts after the cruise. Easter is april 12, & prices are higher. More growded also

We will be on the Magic when she berths in tortula for the first time. We can hardly wait.

We will be celebrating our 29th anniversary on this cruise, yeah.

I think we missed our 250 day dance. Just save your energy and we'll make it a good one for 200 day dance :cool1: :cool1:

I did make a hotel reservation for the night before and a car rental reservation for going to Cape Canaveral. But didn't make a car rental for the return. Maybe I already know that I won't be wanting to leave the ship :lmao: :lmao:

I looked at airfare and OMG!!! :scared1: :scared1: I'm thinking we'll use some frequent flyer miles even if it means we have to go to DC first :rotfl:

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Me (DW) and DH will be joining you! We were just on the 4 day wonder August 3rd-7th for our honeymoon. We had rebooked for 7 Day Western for July 09, but couldn't pass up Tortola!!! So I just got off the phone with DCL, so we are all set!!!! Can't wait for Tortola!

Welcome to the boards;) . I picked this cruise b/c I've never been 2 Tortola. We wanted May 23? but there was a wait list for main seating. We didn't want to take a chance. So We changed the date to April.

congratulations on your wedding

Thanks for keeping up with the countdown.

I've had my sites set on Gustav for the last couple of days. Looks like he is headed our way :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
But I'm prepared - I've got my peanut butter and jelly ready to go! And I think I've got other supplies as well. I'm hoping it will be a non-issue - hey, a girl can dream can't she :rotfl: .

Now I'm a bit concerned about Hanna. We are suppose to be headed to Hilton Head on 9-6 and early predictions are that Hanna may head up the east coast. I really don't care if it rains while we are there, at least let me get there!

This will be our 3rd disney cruise. We had originally booked the 4 land/3sea cruise but my DD's wanted more time on the ship. Although I had to promise that in the next couple of years I would take them to the parks for a week:cool1:
Can't wait to go...although not looking forward to paying for it:scared1:
There's me, DH, DD16 & DD12.
