Day 2
Woke up early to the slight swaying of the ship. The room creaked with each sway, I thought it was a nice touch, We couldnt decide if DCL piped in the sound or what.
We still felt woozy as our sea legs hadnt arrived yet. We went for a walk to explore the ship, and deck 9 was empty. We quickly took pictures before people were out and about.
Key West was the first stop. We walked all the way to the lighthouse down Whitehead st away from the Duvall St craziness. I climbed up to the top to get a great picture of the ship, as it was the highest point. On the walk back to the ship we had REAL Key Lime Pie which was delicious. Conch Fritters were a disappointment, they were an acquired taste.
We headed back to the ship for a quick nap before dinner. Animators Palate was neat with the changing color. Had the customary 2 entrees and 2 deserts. We ran out of energy and didnt go to WWTBAM.
We rested until the Adult Cabaret and saw the ventriloquist Jeff Groves "SHUT UP!" those who saw him will now what that meant.
We then relaxed and watched some movies, and switched to channel 14 to see how many people can't shoot basketballs.
Coming up Day 3 and Mickey delivered our sea legs.
