Who: DD 2.5princess: DS 4.5pirate: DH 29 Me turning 30 on the 7th

This was the big trip planned for years to celebrate my 30th birthday. I am a big disney nut. My husband and I have gone every 1.5-2 years since we have been married :goodvibes . So this is DH and my 5th trip in all. DS's 3 trip and DD's 2nd trip. :cool1:

This day starts dark and early....we leave the house by 4am:scared1: DD didn't want to wake up but DS was about ready to bounce out of bed at 3:30 once he realized it was time to go to the air port:) DD was happy to be dress as Aurora first thing in the morning. We had 2 flights that went well with no time inbetween them. It was about 10am when we arrived at MCO. There was a long line at the ME counter but it went pretty quickly. We got on a bus immediatly and ours was the first stop at the GF:cool1:

It was just a beautiful as I remembered it! Check-in was easy. They even made sure I got a birthday button and put my name on it. They also gave my husband a lovely carnation to give to me (it is still alive on our kitchen table). At this point it was just before noon and our room was not quite ready. So we worked to get changed into touring clothes and get the rest of the stuff ready to get stored by bell services. While we were doing this our room became avaliable. So it was off to Bocca Chica room 8207. We origionally booked a GV room but our awesome TA was able to get us upgraded to a theme park view. Sure enough when we got in the room we had a beautiful view of Cinderella's Castle!:cloud9:
After exploring the room for a few minutes, we headed out to get lunch in the Magic Kingdom.

Lunch was great we did the Deluxe Dinning Plan by now everyone knows how to use it so we didn't have any problems. We ate at Casey's Corner. It was mobbed and hot but the food was good. All the buns are now wheat bread, but you couldn't really tell much of a difference. Finally it was on to some rides! We went for the Carosel 1st since it had a pretty short line. The kids loved it!

After that we got FP for Philharmagic. While we waited we shopped a little and then went on Snow White's Scary Adventure.

The liked Snow White a little, but both love Philharmagic! After the show we ran into the parade. By this time DD had fallen asleep in the stoller. DS loved watching the parade on DH's sholders. After some shopping we headed back to the GF to relax before dinner at the GF Cafe. We made the mistake of trying to take the boat with the stroller, 2 big balloons, and 2 hot and tired kids. It would have been much easier to take the monorail.

All of our luggage was safe in our room when we got back. The few treats we ordered from PD were not in our room eventhough they were suppose to be. After a while we found out that PD had delivered the items (pic on day 2) to the wrong room. So we were not charged for them since they need another 24hours to make new ones. A little dissappointing but at least we would get them eventually.....

After a nice dinner at the Cafe, we decided to relax around the resort and enjoy the quite pool. :cool1: The kids loved the little kiddie pool! We made sure we were back in our room in time for the fireworks at 10. Wishes always makes me cry and this first night was no exception :) It was so nice to be home :yay:

Tomorrow day 2......

Day 2 started with breakfast in Norway with the Princesses. I was a little nervious about getting there in time since our AD time was before park opening, but it was very easy!:cool1: Belle was there to great us in her ball gown.

Once my DD realized that the princesses would come to our table, she stopped eating breakfast. She just couldn't wait to see them, esp her favorite Aurora. :) Our server gave me a birthday card that had been signed by all of the princesses. It was very nice:thumbsup2 At breakfast we saw Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine, and Mulan. The pictures are still avaliable for purchase, but will soon be included in the cost of the meal. After a nice walk back to future world, my children found the fountians. They had to stop and play for a while. The Flower and Garden Festaval was wonderful. We ended up stopping at several kid stops set up all over future world. One of the first rides we went on was Figment Journey into the Imagination. Both of my children really loved it! The Neverland play area for the younger kids was a huge hit with both my kids.:yay: My DS really wanted to try Test Track and he is tall enough. So next we got the fast pass for TT. Once the time came to use the fast pass, TT was down. So we decided to go see the Universe of Energy to pass the time. It was a nice cool relaxing ride. My DS didn't like the loud noises in the dark. As soon as that was done, we ran by TT and it was back up:cool1: DS and DH went on TT. DS didn't like it at all. It was way to fast for him. :sad1: We decided to keep snacking insead of getting a big lunch and head back to the GF.

After a few phone calls, we finally got the stuff we were expecting from PD.
Here is the birthday stuff they sent.

I still haven't eaten the box yet. It is so pretty :)
Next was dinner at Citricos. I decided to leave my birthday button in the room and just enjoy the meal. As it turns out they already had on for me as well as personalized menues :cool1: The food was excellent! Both DH and I enjoyed it. I had a delicious filet and the warm banana tart said Happy Birthday Mommy on the plate.

Our kids split the kids meal at all of the restaurants. It was more than enough food for both of them especially with all of the snacks.

After dinner we had a nice relaxing time shopping in Downtown Disney. It was pretty busy at night.

Great report so far! I am dying to stay at GF...a castle view for your birthday, how perfect! And your kids are so cute :)
Can't wait for more!

I got a pic of my kids with the same Belle at Norway and daughter is wearing her Sleeping Beauty costume as well :thumbsup2
What a great way to celebrate a birthday!

We began day 3 with breakfast at Chef Mickey's. It was awesome:cool1:

The kids both loved all of the characters. The food was good too.
Next it was off to the Magic Kingdom. We spent alot of time in tomorrowland. The TTA quickly became a favorite of both children. Buzz Lightyear was also a big hit. The crowds were pretty big so we tired to do fastpass whenever possible. Next it was off to the Plaza restaurant for lunch. This restaurant is pretty small. The food was good but the service was not. The cheeseburger was really good! We decided to do a RR trip around the park. It was a nice relaxing way to see the park. We started and got off at the main street station. This made it easy to park our stroller and come back to it when we were done. :thumbsup2
We headed back to the GF after the RR so we could rest up for the Pirate and Princess Party that evening.

We got all dressed up and went back to the park. Dinner was at Cinderella's Royal Table. It was delicious! I love their prime rib!!!! The only problem we had was that during dinner it started to pour and our stuff and stollers got soaked! We didn't plan on rain so had to buy some towels to dry things off. This was the first time it rained on our trip but it wouldn't be the last......
The rest of the evening was awesome! pirate: princess: We watched the special parade, caught the castle show, and watched the fireworks. The crowds were not bad at all! It was well worth the price of the tickets! We got on rides like Pirates of the Caribean right away. There were almost no wait for anything. We did try to stop at as many of the treasure spots as possible. There was one spot that gave out candy necklesses, but all of the rest were just different colored beaded necklesses.
We kept enjoying rides until both kids fell asleep.

It was just about midnight when we left! We all had another wonderful day!
