Alisa, i thought the same thing...i was thinking "this is it?!?!" Oh well atleast everything looks official now.:woohoo: Does anyone know how those stateroom credits work? If you booked with DU to you get it when you board?

Just talked to Disney Reservations. Documents was sent yesterday (3/29) Ups 3 day. Should have them by Tuesday.

Never doubt the power of the Smeck :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :dance3:

Oh by the way I got my documents today also. I guess there's no turning back now. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Cathy,
Yes, we are taking the DCL bus to Cape Canaveral:drive: .......do you know how
early we can get going????? I know we can't board the ship until noon, but boy,
with all the excitement, how can I not be the first to board and see the
ship with my very own eyes??????:magnify: :boat:

See ya soon:thumbsup2
Ada

Hi Ada,

I think the first bus leaves around 9 or 9.30am. We will be too excited to sleep in that morning so we should be lined up and waiting for that first bus pretty early.:rotfl2:

I used DVC points, so I can't help you. I wish I had stateroom credits though!

If I remember correctly, when I sailed DCL 2 1/2 years ago, we received all the excursion info when the docs came. Now that you can prebook excursions, we receive that info 90 days out if you are a CC member, or 75 days out. That was a bit more exciting, but we had our excitement a few months ago. It's still nice to have the final docs, but I was expecting pixie dust as least!pixiedust:

The credit will appear on your stateroom account.

I'm very happy to be home sick the past 2 days, as I get my illness out of the way before vacation :lmao:

We'd never doubt you Smeck:cheer2: Got my Doc's yesterday too :thumbsup2 Wasn't sure if the lack of :confused3 stuff :confused3 was the difference between the 4 day and the 7 day that we're used to :confused3 BUT ... Docs are Docs and we're happy to have them :woohoo:

I'm just on the verge of that pre-vacation panic when you've got a task list a mile long and about 30 minutes to get everything done  I can't even tell you how many times I've told myself "baby-steps" this morning alone. And it just figures that work is starting to get busy again after months of quiet and lots of "down time"

Received our documents packages yesterday, but my DMIL confirmation and luggage tags were not included. I had a hunch maybe they sent them to her address, and sure enough they did. Is this standard?

Along with the confirmations and luggage tags, were forms to fill out for Bahamas immigration. Do I need to fill these out prior to getting on the ship?

It makes sense that they sent your MIL's docs to her, sepecially if she has a different address.

I believe you fill out the immigration forms before check-in. I plan to fill out mine.

Yes.... they collect them when you check in at the port. That is one of the things the CM's at the top of the escalators check before allowing you to go to the check in line. If you have not checked in online, you need to have all of your docs completed and signed. If you checked in online you need the signed contract acknowledgment and the credit card forms.

from the official passport site :

"In the space provided for the signature, the mother or father must print the child's name and sign their own name. Then, in parenthesis by the parent's name, write the word (mother) or (father) so we know who signed for the child. "

You MUST also sign any passposts for children under 14...not the child even if they can write

From the State Department web site:

My child is too young to sign his/her own passport. How do I sign my child's passport?

In the space provided for the signature, the mother or father must print the child's name and sign their own name. Then, in parenthesis by the parent's name, write the word (mother) or (father) so we know who signed for the child.

Ok...... duplicate info. I guess I'm a little slow today!!

:scared1: I hope that your DH is feeling better by the time we sail. For dinners I'm wearing Capri's and top's. I'm bringing 1 dress and I'll wear that at Palo. Not sure yet about Palo brunch :confused3 It'll either be capri's or I'll throw a skirt into the suitcase for that. In all honesty, I'm packing MUCH more casual for this cruise as compared to the 7-nights that we've done in the past.

Hope Dh is itch free soon!!!!!!!!!!!
Ditto on the dinner attire...I'm bringing evening type tops (if that makes any sense!)and dressy capri's. I was going to bring a dress but I've read that it can get rather windy on deck :boat: and if you are on deck some of the other decks below gets a peep show:scared1: :sail: :faint: :crazy2: ...lol!!!!!

Called my AAA travel agent and my documents are at least in RI...now to get them in my hand!
