4/14/2012 7-Nights Western Caribbean on the Fantasy

I booked AirTran out of Boston, leaving 4/11 and returning 4/22 (our son goes to a Catholic school that IS taking the extra days for the conference). Non-stops each way, great price for that convenience ($1505 for 4, round trip). With luck, Southwest will take over before April and we'll avoid the baggage fees.

With 5 minutes to spare this morning before having to leave for work, the Southwest fares came out. So I found a flight from Bos to MCO for $144. Unfortunately, there is a stop in BWI. But, I literally had 5 minutes to look, decide, enter ALL our info, names, credit card info, etc & BOOK it!:scared1: Glad I did though because 10 minutes later, that flight jumped to $224. Wish I had held off for Southwest for my return flight. Booked JetBlue because I panicked! :rotfl:. Had I known how cheap nonstops out of Bradley were going to be......oh well, at least it's DONE! Now onto renewing the kids passports:headache:

Coulda, woulda, shoulda!! :confused3 You just never know what will happen with airfare, wait?, buy?, wait?, buy? I definitely paid way too much for my airfare, with layovers both ways. I just wasn't willing to gamble....and my DH did NOT want to travel to another airport when BOS is 12 miles away. Logan airfares are just outrageous!:scared1:

Congrats to all those out there that got good deals!:thumbsup2 way to go!

Just looked back on this thread to see the postings when Jet Blue released, still happy to fly out of Logan. I am actually happier now with the fares I got over the summer!

Really happy with my February fares out of Palm Beach the flight I got for $116 is now over $520!:scared1:

My same fares on JetBlue for april out of BOS are over $600 r/t. I know I paid more by flying home on Saturday, but when I get off the ship, I just want to get home at that point. but that's just me.

We are flying into Orlando, and I am flying home after the cruise as well but out of Tampa (which was $247 per person) my roundtrip fare was $344!

There are 6 of us, so a limo to Tampa is much more cost effective than the $500+ fare per person (just for the flight home) to fly out of Orlando! ::yes::

Yup they are already grumbling about the family splash pools location over the adult pool area thus eliminating the adult seating in that area, and creating more noise/chaos & general mayhem! :lmao:;)

I do not know who is in charge but they really need to think things through a little bit better! ::yes:::confused:

You can't please everyone!!:rotfl:
Maybe this is in response to the pools being too small?!:confused3

Most people come back (to a particular ship, or vacation spot) because they like things the way they are. If they wanted changes, they would go on another ship or vacation spot....don't ya think?:confused3

I just can't wait to gooooooooo!:woohoo: bring on the mayhem!:cheer2:

I like the new water features. Previously I had told the kids not to expect a lot of water time during the busy times of the day. They love the pics of the Aqualab and might get more water time than we had planned. So true that they cannot make everyone happy. I am sure they put a lot of thought into it and decided the number of people who would be pleased/impressed by the changes far outweighed those that would be unhappy.
