Jet Blue bookings

Flights home from MCO are priced scary!:scared1:

Booked flight to MCO from Boston for $97 + tax per person!:cool1:

Had to fly back from Tampa (to get a decent rate) got a rate of $248 + tax per person:scared1:
Will have to arrange a van or limo to TPA:lmao: something funny about that airport abreviation!

Did not pay for upgraded seats at $45 per person :sad2:

Leaving on Tuesday? DH does not want to take the kids out of school for more than 2 days. The best I can do is Wed evening for 164/pp.

How much for transportation from port to TPA?

im ghosting on this thread.
we are on this cruse to. just wanted to remind everyone to watch the jet blue fares. if they go down at any point between now and then jet blue will give you a credit for the difference.
keep your eye on the prize. we will be flying on this trip for free because of this rule.
:thumbsup2

Just spent way more than I wanted to, but I don't have the time to check all the time (time=$$).

They only had 3 tickets left at the lower price, so I got those for me and my girls and DH on a separate, more expensive itinerary. Just approx $10 cheaper than DCL minus the transfer fees.

Jet Blue is really sticking it to holiday travelers from MA!

I am on the RCCI Allure in Feb (she sails out of Ft lauderdale) they wanted $422 out of Ft lauderdale to fly to Boston so I booked out of Palm Beach for $116 per person!:surfweb::laughing::scared1:

They seem to really stick it too you when cruise ships are scheduled to arrive!

at least I don't have to pay baggage fees!!:rotfl2:could have gone on Delta for a few bucks less, but they have baggage fees...

Well we were going to leave Tuesday AM but decided to leave Monday after school to get 4 full days of the Magic before the Fantasy!

$330 for a limo Port to Tampa not bad considering it is $140 to MCO & $170 to WDW.

So I will be spending $190 more to save $1500 sounds like a deal to me!

I am good at spending money, but I am also good at saving when I can!;)

at this rate, we may end up driving back and forth! I had originally planned on leaving friday pm flying, but we could leave a little earlier and drive. Was coming home sunday, so same thing. Leave right from ship.......

I have a $500gift card for Southwest so I'm still waiting......my aunt booked out of Bradley & got a better deal than out of Boston.

You might though Southwest wont release April untill the fall!

I just did not have the patience to wait, or desire to go down to TF GREEN for flights.

I am happy with the fare down not the fare back!:headache:

I want to take advantage of the OBC, which is not available with SW at this time & don't want to risk it. So to me, that is worth paying a little extra for. Great deals flying out of JFK though! I could save a little over $600, including long term parking. DH is not willing to drive 4 hrs each way though.
I agree with RJAYL, it is the flight home that is killing me!:scared1:

I thought the Jet Blue flights for us were very reasonable. We could leave Friday night and return late in the day Sunday 22nd for $1500 for 5 of us!!! Considering last April they wanted $3700 for the 5 of us, this is a bargain!

However.....the cruise still feels like years away!!!

They want over $500 per person to fly from MCO to Boston after the cruise!

That would be $2500 just for the flight home for your family!

If you were going to Logan!:sad2:

Just booked Wed through Saturday stay at POFQ plus port transportation through Disney. I didn't realize 2012 room rates were available yet. Thought I would post in case anyone else was waiting for the rates to be released.

Well, still waiting for Southwest to release for my flight out, but got a flight home, MCO to Bos, on the Sunday @ 7:30 am for $198 pp. That's what I paid R/T for all 4 of us on our last cruise :sad2:. Boy they really stick it to you on school vacation times! But, looking forward to the extra time in FL when we get off the ship;)

Hello everyone!

:welcome: to the newcomers ... I will do an update to our cruise list thread soon and get everyone added.

Jetblue fares have gone WAY DOWN since I originally checked ... I will be booking the airfare today. I can get 4 people roundtrip, nonstop from LaGuardia for $940! That's the cheapest EVER. My husband is a fan of convenience over price most of the time and loves going in and out of Westchester airport (as do I) but in this instance, it's $364 or $280 more expensive to do so depending on the flight we go out on so I'm thinking we will not be going out of Westchester since the difference is so expensive.

For anyone arriving earlier than Saturday, what hotel are you staying at? We have always stayed at the Residence Inn Cocoa Beach since it's so close but for two nights it's $375 ... just hoping to find something a little less expensive but still just as convenient. I will be researching hotels next!

Got our little booklet in the mail this week ... was so exciting to see all of the ports, etc ... I am SO looking forward to this itinerary!!!

We are thinking of booking the La Quinta Cocoa Beach - Oceanfront. As soon as I get our airfare squared away, I can book the hotels and car for sure. I've put in a request with our local Congressman for Kennedy Space Ctr tickets the Friday before the cruise. I will know for sure in October. We have credits and two free one way tickets with Southwest, just waiting for them to release the fares for April. April 2012 cannot come soon enough!!

I saw that property today when I was looking around. We are definitely considering moving further away from the port for a less expensive stay this go around.

The Residence Inn which we've stayed at each of our 3 former cruises is pricing in at $375 for 2 nights and that's just crazy when we can stay a few miles down the road ... the Days Inn Cocoa Beach is $204 for 2 nights ... that's a huge difference ... my kids are 14 and 21 ... the thrill of waking up and looking out to the left from the parking lot and seeing the smoke stacks in the horizon is wearing off a little, lol (not for ME!! :worship:).

The Radisson is $297 and they have a huge pool. We will have a car so maybe we will head to the beach instead ... we are unsure yet exactly what we will do.

Have you ever been to the Space Center? We did and it was great ... you will enjoy it for sure!

Never been to the Space Ctr. Fingers crossed for the free tickets. Just an FYI, what I believe to be the La Quinta Oceanfront is coming up on Hotwire for $66 /night.....that is a HUGE price difference. It is rated #1 on trip advisor for Cocoa Beach hotels.

How do you see the name of the hotel? I thought they didn't tell you the name ... or did you book it already?

I see a 3 star for $65 and a 2 1/2 star for $54.

Also, which hotel are you referring to? The oceanfront one? I see one on Hendry Ave and one on North Atlantic.
