How can I get on the singles table group for dinner? I'm on Main dining.

My aunt and I are main dining too and might be interested in joining a singles table. I know she asked me one day if we'd be eating alone so I'm up for joining other people and am sure she'd be up for it too

Here is what I want to do:

If you are interested in attending this workshop which will be about an hour in length I need you to let me know either here on the board or by email (akblair@charter.net). Everyone who signs up will get a free copy of my book.

I am not sure when to do the workshop during the cruise, I am a late night person so I would not have a problem doing it one evening at say 10 or 10:30 after all the activities are finished but that may be too late for some people?

Once we have a group of people we can meet up in the chat room and talk about when to do it.

What kind of things would the workshop talk about?

I was thinking more along 7 or 7:30 so people could go out if they want. I owe the person driving me down dinner anyway and I'm not much of a pizza fan. But we might be able to do an early dinner if people prefer 6pm.

The pool area sounds great - especially if the weather is cooperating.

I will plan on starting at 6. I want to make sure that those with younger kids (and those who want to go to the port SUPER EARLY) can come get their lanyards and get to bed early (if they want).

DD's will probably be swimming so I am sure we will be out there for a few hours.

I think whatever works for you with dinner and meeting is good.

Sometimes the actual FE goes missing - bad behavior from kids (or mean adults).

There are reports of Fish Extenders getting stolen.

And I've never heard of the gifts disappearing - although someone else will probably chime in that it happens.

I've been on cruises where gifts were stolen.

Many people never know if something was stolen, until they compare notes ("Did you get the door magnet that Susan made?" "What door magnet?")

Actually, it's Barbara. Or Bobber....or obobber.

My preference runs to Bobber now since it's what my grandkids call me. It's a unique nickname that came from my best friend's son over 40 years ago when he couldn't pronounce Barbara.

The "obobber" came about when he first tasted my beef stew, loved it, and remarked "Oh Bobber". I took it as my screen name when I started using the internet.

I love your name! I just had to tell you that I have an Aunt Barbara and since I'm from the south, we call her Aunt Bobber Lee.

Christmas Organizing Workshop

I have been asked by several people if I was willing to do a Christmas Organizing Workshop during the cruise and I said yes.

Thank you! This sounds great! I'm in and I know my mom and her friend will want to join! Whenever you want to host this seminar is fine by me. Thanks again!

I found the site that tells me who is departing the Barcelona dock on the 24th of April, but can someone send me the link to know if anyone is arriving at the dock on the 24th? From what I've read on cruise critic a lot of guests on other lines have left the ship very early to catch early flights and have had no problem catching a taxi outside, etc. to get to the BCN airport. I know which terminal we're going to, so that shouldn't be a problem...Terminal 1. Dh thinks they'll tag ours differently if we're getting off that early and it shouldn't be a problem to find them if we leave them out at 11PM the night before. He also says that we won't be the only ones catching an early flight to get back to the west coast on the 24th. Can you tell that he's the calm one and I'm the stress case!

Thank you so much for all the welcomes. We have been booked since March 09 but haven't done a thing since. I just found the site late last night. Now I'm feeling a little behind compared to all of you. I have tons of questions (after reading some of the posts) for my travel agent before I bother any of you.
I would love to be included with the "crazy" remember I am traveling with two small children with out my hubby so I think I'll fit right in. I sent my info to michelle for the secret mickey so I hope we made the deadline.

Hi all! We just got back from a 14-day cruise on Friday and now I'm finally checking in w/ you guys....almost 100 new pages since I left, whew! I guess I could be caught up by the time we leave for this cruise

We had a wonderful cruise on the Azamara Journey. We went to a cruise meet & I have to say, when we told people our next cruise was on DCL they were a little snobby about it I don't get how loving Disney makes you any less of a sophisticated traveler you know?

People seem to think that DCL is just for families w/ children I guess....we'll show them!!!

Anyhow, its great to be back on the dis!

All this talk about the name Barbara, makes me want to chime in. I have Aunts from both sides of my parents families that are named Barbara (and they just happen to be mt favorites). When I first saw my wife, I remarked to the guys that were with me that she was going to be my wife, to my surprise she is named Barbara. Anyway, one of the nicknames she picked up was Babala. So if you see her, watch the smile if you call her that. (I'm not telling her I told you all that)
