I remember a boyfriend back in the 70's (yes, alright, I know a lot of you weren't even born then :rolleyes:

) always referred to half a crown (25p post decimalisation LOL!

) as a dollar. Or maybe it was half a dollar?

Was he completely barking, or could that have been nearly accurate in the 70s too?
