3rd week in May or 2nd week in August of 2016

Which week would you go? Family vacation, 2 adults & 2 kids. We plan to stay at CR or WL.

May absolutely. Weather June through August is way too oppressively hot for me. May weather is warm/hot but still tolerable and crowds are lighter than early August.

We like May and October, went once in August and it was miserable. Besides the heat I believe there are a lot of tour groups at that time.

Not only is it hot in August, it's also hurricane season.

That week in May was my only "low" crowd trip. Honestly? I didn't notice a difference. Before deciding, I would check resort rates. If August is in value season, that's a bump for August. My May trip had shorter park hours. Maybe I didn't notice a difference in crowds because we all had to cram our parks into the same limited time frame? So, check historic park hours for most dates. I also didn't notice a difference in temperature. It was darn hot in May and August, but with a swim break from 1 or 2 until 5, it was fine.

I am a native Floridian. If I could, I would leave this state from June to the end of September. Not because of the hurricane season, because I have never liked the 100% humidity and 90+ degree temps. It zaps your energy and makes little ones cranky. So, you can gather that I would vote for May.
