3rd Trip To Disney, For 4 months!!!!!!

Wait a sec, Did you read that right? Yes. Yes you did. I am going to Disney for 4 whole months. How did that happen? Well before we go into that please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Shardai. I've gone to Disney two previous times before, (the trip report links are in my signature). I love everything to do with Disney and plan everything. I think I enjoy planning the trip more than I do the actual trip. My family has dubbed me the Disney nut. They don't mind too much though seeing as they have asked me to single handedly plan a trip for 18 of them to Disney this upcoming May, but more about that later. Anyway, there will be two more people tagging along this trip but they are not staying for 4 months.

Next up we have my Dear Mother. I love her, I wouldn't trade her for the world but some times I seriously want to choke her. All joking aside though, my mom has went with me on all past trips and it would not be the same without her. Like me, she loves Disney but to the less extreme. She enjoys going but will have nothing to do with the planning. Partly because it would overwhelm and stress her and partly because I won't give her the chance to.

Third and last is my nephew Ish. I have been trying to find a way to take him for ages. Thankfully this opportunity popped up. He is 6 and very active. He was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 2 and he is constantly on the move. This will be his first visit. I wanted to take him before the big trip in May so we could introduce him to the rides and theming of Disney so he won't be overwhelmed in May. He has issues with listening, gets distracted very easily, has fears of dark rides and height, and is a serious flight risk.

Now that we have the cast of characters, I will answer your long anticipated question. How am i going to Disney for 4 months. Okay. I'll tell you, I'm rich. I just won the 5 million pa lottery and am celebrating by taking over Cinderella's castle!!!! What? You don't believe me? Okay,maybe that was a bit too much. Okay, here is the truth. I am going to Florida to participate in the Disney College Program!!!! I was accepted in October and have been counting down the seconds ever since. It has been torture. I get to live, sleep, eat, and learn in Disney!!! So my mom and nephew are driving me down a couple days early and thus we have a mini trip report. My program starts on January the 19th and I am leaving for Florida in..... wait for it...... 12 hours!!!!!! So hope you enjoy this trip report and that I might actually get some readers.

Our plans have changed multiple times in the past couple of months. The most recent change was last night. We plan to drive down to Florida tonight at 11 pm. Hopefully we will reach Kissimee by late afternoon. Our check-in for Pop Century isn't until the 17th, so I found a super cheap best western for only 33 dollars a night with my Mom's triple A card. So we are staying there for a night. Then the next day we are driving over to Pop to check-in. That night we are eating at Chef Mickey's then on the 18th we are starting our day at Crystal Palace and spending all day at MK. The park closes super early that day but that works out good for us because the next day is check-in for the CP program. I also have a blog where I will be going more in depth about the College Program.

Sorry I have been gone so long. I have been waiting for a charger for my phone but my room mate told me I could take the memory card out. Can anyone say a DUH moment? So I will be posting the rest of the trip report soon.
