Way to go with the teen! Here's to stroller moms!I can't stand being cut off in line! The Mother's Day pics are beautiful! I got my DD the same shirt as Claires in the last pics (instead of gray, DD's is pink). She loves wearing her WDW shirts though and points out the characters! Did you get pics of the food from EoS or Goofy's? These 2 things are MUST-DOs for me! I think we'll be driving to DTD instead of the buses after reading this!!
That is a cute sweatshirt!! Those are also cute mother's day pictures. Your children are beautiful, and you are one hot mama!!
When we were at MK my 7 year old son saw Captain Hook and was dying to see him. There were only 3 people in line so I told him to run up and stand in line while I parked the stroller and got my other kids out. While he was standing in line some tour group that didn't speak English came and cut right in front of him. I said,"Excuse me, my son was waiting in line." They looked at me with blank looks to which my husband says, " they don't understand you". My son just said it was ok he would wait. Well, at first there were about 6 or 7 people in this group that cut in front of my son. As soon as the group gets up to the front of the line, out no where comes 6 or 7 more families to join them. So now we were about 14 families away from seeing Hook. I said something to the character handler about how we had now been waiting 30 minutes and people kept joining the group in front of us and it wasn't fair that they could just walk right up, join their group, see the characters and not have to wait. The character handler then turns around and says loudly," Anybody who is not a part of this group needs to go back to the end of the line. Only people with the group can walk up."I was so mad because she was ok with all these people seeing somebody they know and walking right up to the front of the line. It ended up taking us almost an hour to see Captain Hook. I wouldn't have waited if my son wasn't so adamant about it. Not to mention that it was also 97 degree's out and my 2 yr old and 3 yr old were going crazy. I ended up walking off with them and letting my husband wait with the older two boys. I don't know that I will ever get over that. It makes me furious just thinking about it.
Thank goodness your TR cheers me up.![]()
How rudeToo bad you didn't have Jen's stroller, you could have mowed them all down. That kind of behavior is enough to make me want to start throwing punches - butttt I maintain my self control so as not to set a bad example for the kids. No one wants to remember their mom being cuffed and hauled off to jail

OMG! you go away to deal with crises for 2 days and you get so far behind.
I've had DH sick, DS home for 3 days sick. Went to my friends daughter's funeraland been to the vet wit same dog three times. Let me just tell you when you have to call in the vet at 5oam, you automatically become the surgery assistant as there is no one else there. Being a nurse, I'd love to share all the gory details but I'll spare you - just suffice it to say. She had to ask DH to leave because he was getting very pale and she told him she couldn't handle another pt at the moment beside he doesn't have enough legs to qualify for her expertise
Okay you will have to give me the details on how to work the photpass thing when I pre-order online. I can't believe your last photopass personYour pics were definitely better than hers.
I so enjoy the topiaries at Disney. - they are all just amazing. They have to be one of my very favorite things.
Enjoyed the mother's day pics. Beauty definitely runs in your family - Your mo looks great. Was she like 12 when she had you?
I'm glad you got that sweatshirt before you left. Now you don't have to keep fighting with yourself about not buying it. I think the opther one is my favorite though.
I love that pink dress that Claire is wearing. She looks gorgous in it. It's my second favorite next to the dress she wore for BBB pics. That pink is a great color on her.
Do they just not have a lot of buses running from Pop to DTD - I might have to drive there is the wait is that long.
Jen, you TR is the very first one I started reading , and I am so sad it is coming to a close. I'm gonna miss you if I can'tpost to you every day.
Hugs, Karen![]()
Love the updates! The mother's day pics turned out nice too. How do you like your new camera? I want to buy a fisheye lens for mine but my gosh they are expensive! I had one on the 35mm and I loved the pics I got with it!
hiya! I've been lurking reading through your report and i recently made an account, so i thought I'd stop by and say hi! Claire's lovely! I've loved looking at all your pics! xxxx![]()
I think we might have been at DTD the same day just different times. I was there in the afternoon, both Friday and Saturday.
I missed Goofy's on the March trip but finally remembered to go in on the May trip. I was so confused with how to order, etc that I just didn't order anything. LOL!!!![]()
I think this is the first time I've seen Claire in pants/jeans!
I want to go back in December. A friend of mine's mother bought into DVC and they are staying at Bay Lake (is it open yet?). Do you think I can stowaway at their place?
Thank you for such a great TR. I wish I would have had the presence of mind to recognize you!
Oh no your TR is coming to a endYou need to plan another trip ASAP lol.
