Hi, just wanted to share wth anyone who will listen !!
We have been lucky enough to have visited Orlando twice in the last 2 years and have know booked to go again next May 2005.
Each time we have arranged everything ourselves and have saved a small fortune.
Yes you have to shop around a bit but the saving's are really worth a few calls and a bit of homework.
Don't be put off by it all, if we can do it anyone can.
Our first trip 2 years ago saw 5 adults 2 children flying with B.A. from Newquay up to london to orlando return, 3 weeks in a beautifull villa in Davenport and a people carrier The price worked out just over £500 each which included insurance, How good is that
We generally always get our flights direct they generally release them 11 months before you go, the sooner you get them the better the price, ( thats ovbiously if you have to book in advance)
The accomadation id directly with the owner/hotel, we shop around on line for car hire and just get the best price companys will always try and beat one another.
Last year we stayed just for one night at the Royal Pacific hotel at Universal it cost us directly with the hotel about £90.0 with breakfast included, it was fab and our room card enabled us to fast pass all the rides .
You just showed your room card and went to the front of the line, even though we only stayed for one night you actually get 2 days worth of fast passing ,
Next year as I said we are travelling to Florida again, and we have booked a 3 day cruise onboard The Disney Wonder, through a travel agent in america called all sea's travel which we found on the cruise forum.
Because of all the info we have picked up we have got a secret porthole cabin at an amazing price of about £700.00,compared to the virigin broch that work's out av £500 PER ADULT for the 3 day same time that were going We couldnt be happier.
So sorry to bore you all but if your in any doub't about booking thing's yourself don't be Do It and have fun.
