OMG I Just have to RAVE about the amazing Winnipeg Jets game last night!!!

3 periods ALMOST go by and we were losing 2 - 0 to the Washington Capitols!

IN THE LAST 2 MINUTES we score 2 goals!!!!

So now we're tied. Into overtime we go. 5 minutes and no one scores. So they resort to the shoot out (which I go on the record stating I HATE shoot outs and thing it's a lame way to determine a winner) and WE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously with 2 minutes left I figured we were done. It was so much fun to watch that game! I still have barely any voice and I tried to scream! lol I ended up in a coughing fit for a few minutes after that but it was worth it!

I can't believe my mini trip is coming so fast!!! I leave my house at 6am on Thursday morning to drive into Winnipeg and pick up my friend Gina and then we're off!!!

Yes there will be pictures!

Hi Heather ... I recently renewed the writing of my PTR and was perusing the boards when I came across yours. Gotta say I love your plans - those Royal Rooms look fantastic; what a GREAT surprise for the kids.

I'm "in" on your PTR and will look forward to catching up. I just looked at all your ADRs and smiled (a wicked, ravenous looking smile) to see Biergarten listed ... we went there for the first time on our last trip and had SUCH a blast!! The kids were running around dancing to the band and we got to sit back and just enjoy another Disney moment. The food was excellent and it was fun to try some items that were new to us. Plus, ummm, they had this golden colored, malty, frosty, sudsy adult beverage that was to die for

One thing to throw at you as an ADR idea. On our last two trips we've had the buffet at Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We're always thrilled to walk around the grounds of this magnificent resort, see the animals, and the food at the buffet is outstanding!!

Can't wait to read more and share more as the trip draws near!!

ya you can really never count a team out unless they are getting smoked, but good to hear. I really hope they make the playoffs this year....the more canadian teams the better. I know I don't have to tell you but have a great time and can't wait to see the pics from the game

Aw thank you. That's a really sweet thing to say! This is my first ever PTR so I'm so happy to see that I must be doing a pretty good job on it! lol I was even called "Queen of the PTR" and while it might not be true I decided I liked that and made it my personal name thing. (points over to just under my screen name. lol)

And on our weekend off I have played with the idea of going to Animal Kingdom Lodge for a meal. I'd like to explore the resort and Jenny is staying there too!

Our next like 10 games are all HOME games except for the Minnesota game that I will be at!!!! Hoping there will be so many Jets fans that you'll be able to hear us chant "GO JETS GO!"

OMG it was A-MAZING! Just the last 2 minutes. Lol Before that I was like...hmmmm...well 2 minutes. It CAN be done. But I had lost some of my excitement. AND THEN.....2 points scored in 2 minutes!!! The other team took 2 penalties, we pulled our goalie and had a 7 on 3. So that helped!! Then no one scored in OT. Go to the shootout and our boys scored on BOTH of their shots and the other team only scored on 1 out of the 3 they took!

So our favorite thing to do (every night *lol*) is watch videos on YouTube. Videos of rides, of peoples trips to Disney World, and pretty much anything related TO Disney World.

She is so amazed by all the different candy apples. (Mickey & Minnie ones) She especially likes watching them make the rainbow candy apples!

The boys enjoy the ride videos. It's been helpful for Ava to watch them so I can inform her that nothing is scarey and even when it's supposed to be scarey nothing can actually get her. (ie. Dinosaur)

I'm still feeling crappy. My lower back hurts today. I have more voice than I did 3 days ago but it's still only maybe 50% of my normal voice. It's driving me crazy!!! I wanna sing!!!

Just gotta get through work today, Tuesday and Wednesday and then me and Gina are on our road trip to Minnesota!!!

I hate the loser point as well! We'd be in the playoffs right now if teams didn't get points for losing. But the Avs are fantastic at shootouts so I can't complain too much I just HATE them.

And that's funny you were an Avs fan before! I have a couple of friends in Winnipeg that I met as Avs fans and they're now Jets fans obviously. They still cheer for the Avs in the background a bit!

have you found live 365 .com's mouseworld radio? if not it is amazing! go to live 365 and then type disney world into the search and you'll find amazing radio stations that play disney sounds/music.
It had been invaluable while i'm studying for the bar exam and i love being transported to disney (I'm listening to "laughing place" from Splash Mtn right now )

That was such a fun game to watch! So many Jets fans went south to watch it live it sounded like the Jets were at home. I hope that the Wild and the Jets are in the same division next year it would make for a great rivalry.

I guess your Jets fandom won't still be with you come this Suday eh? That's ok I understand.
