Its Tom Capano all over again. I remember that when he got arrested, he looked evil in his mug shot as opposed to his "before" pictures where he looked regular- just like Scott P.

They also both showed no emotion, and both thought they dumped their "problems" in the sea.

Was he the guy that was a state rep or something that dumped his girlfriend at sea? Did they ever find her body?

No, they did not find the body, but the cooler was recovered by some fisherman. It had bullet holes in it caused by Capano hoping to sink the cooler by putting holes in it.

Capano was not a state rep, either. He was a lawyer and prominent citizen in Wilmington, DE. Ann Marie Fahey was at one time an appointment secretary to the governor of DE.

Capano's brother Gerald dropped the dime on him.

Capano sits on death row in a Delaware prison.

I agree, there is something wrong with the wiring in his head to be able to do something like this. And even on the 1 in a couple million chances that he didn't. He should feel something, show some kind of emotion other than the smugness I'm seeing. I just can't understand him or people like him.

This case reminds me so much of the Charles Stewart case in Boston a few years ago. I forget his wife's name, but she was also pregnant when he killed her and shot himself (to make it look like someone else did it).

Very sad.

Scott Peterson, what a psychopath! Every time I see Laci's face I want to scream. How can someone be so sick?

I remember the Charles Stewart case. What an act that was too. He takes his wife, after a birthing class no less, to a street nearby to kill her and then shoots himself also as a "coverup". Then he claims that it was a racial incident and both his wife and he were "victims". As they investigators were closing in he took a dive into the river, finally killing himself.

When I first moved to Reading a local man killed his wife then stuffed her body into a large rubbermaid container. He put the container into one of those storage facilities. He then went on TV professing his love for the wife and pleading with her to come back. He even organized a walk to raise awareness of her "disappearance". When the police started hauling out a blood soaked mattress from the house the act was over.

Yes, I saw him. What an evil, despicable excuse for a man. I also saw her parents , how absolutly heartbreaking. At least they know where she is now, but what a terrible ending.

Because of the Tidal Charts he had on his computer, they also think this was premeditated. Even SICKER! He actually lived with that beautiful, bubbly, vivacious woman and was planning on KILLING her. Some are saying he never wanted children. Now what has he achieved? Laci and Conner are dead and there's a good chance he will get the death penalty too.

I feel badly for his family, but they need to wake up and smell the coffee. If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck and sounds like a duck- it's a duck.

Laci's mother had me in tears last night as I watched her press conference. That poor family- they will never be the same again.

I read that he can't afford an attorney so that's why he requested a public defender. Hmmm, he had enough cash with him when he was arrested to retain an attorney ($10,000). For someone with no money, that in itself would make me wonder.

I heard the spokesman for the jail say that he'd been a model prisoner and seemed rather apprehenisve about the next step in the legal process. Maybe he doesn't get it yet, that he will never walk a free man again. Of course, I shouldn't say that as there have been other's walk free that I thought would have been convicted. Also, now the media in our area, who like the rest of the country basically has convicted this man is now playing devil's advocate saying...."so, what if he's not guilty?" I swear they just have to have something to talk about.

He did just what the Charles Stewart did to his wife but at least after he knew he got caught he jumped of the Tobin bridge in Boston and took his life to. I'll tell you maybe I am alone and lonely at times but things like this really make me glad I am.
