$35 Epic Mickey (or other games including Just Dance) plus a Wiimote and nunchuck!

I could just be bitter but I absolutely believe it was bait and switch. They played dirty as far as I'm concerned. I've NEVER dealt with a company that did not honor a price that was a "mistake." I know the internet switches things up but yeah, done with Walmart.com.

My card has been fully charged and so far no sign of a refund on the game they canceled. No emails, no change in my order status, nothing. When I spoke to CS they said it would take 5-7 business days but in my account is shows refunded which it has not been.:confused3
What games did you get? If it's "lesser" games then you should be okay. I'm quite surprised they honored Epic Mickey in light of their policy.

I ordered Epic Mickey (already shipped) and Pokepark. From what I read on Slickdeals over the weekend, it seems like those are 2 of the games that are not getting cancelled.

My epic mickey games have shipped, but the remotes are still processing. I paid by paypal and they have not processed that either. They did cancel one of the two for 30 games, and I was told it was because the Drawn to Life I ordered was at the wrong price, what ever ... I asked what the new total was and given it, not sure how that will all work out since paid by paypal. They did ship the other two for 30.00 game at the right price. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

And now I know, walmart.com may not be the place to shop, Ill stick with Amazon and Target from now on.

Based upon how many orders were placed involving this combo, it appears that they are honoring some of the orders. We purchase a lot of games through wallmart.com and have not run into a problem like this before. As for those claiming bait and switch, I don't see it. Many retailers cancel items or orders when they don't have sufficient inventory or due to pricing errors. JC Penny.com will allow you to put items in your cart, let you check-out and then inform you that items were removed that they cannot honor, all before giving you your confirmation. While it is frustrating, it is something that happens everyday.

Both my controller and game *Epic M* have shipped - sorry to those who are having issues.

I called & spoke with "Jose'. Got the same "listed under the terms & conditions if there is an error in price, walmart is not responsible" blah blah blah.

I told him I didn't want the remote. He told me I could return it.:headache:

I told him I wanted him to honor the price they advertised & that I have an email confirming this order. He went back to the terms & conditions BS.

Went round & round...did no good.

So I guess when the remote gets here I will take it to my local Walmart. I'm going to ask for a manager & try to explain the situation. I doubt they will honor it either...but I'm going to try.

After all... if an employee puts up the wrong price on a sign then they honor the sign.

I just don't get why some people are getting their games but some are not. Walmart makes me

My experience with JC Penny is that they do NOT charge you for out of stock items and they don't send you an email saying said out of stock items have been ordered. I've got no problem being notified of this beforehand. What I have a problem with is being charged for the full order, NEVER notified the game was canceled (I discovered it on my own) and then being told I'll get my money back when they get around to it. This is not even close to what JC Penny or other retailers do when they run out of something or make a mistake. I've never, ever experienced someone not honoring the stated price, big mistake or not.

You have been completely charged and the funds removed or they authorized the amount? Just as frustrating to have items in your cart, go through and pay, and then get to a screen that says the following items have been removed. In my order status, I have only been charged as items have shipped.

It is showing that both of my games & remotes have been shipped. Keeping fingers crossed now.

My experience was this...

12/3 8:29 AM
I ordered Mario Kart & Wii Remote. $44.93 was charged to my card. Confirmation email was sent to me at 8:34 am for both items at that price.

12/3 8:55 PM
Received an email that my order had shipped. (at this point I didnt look at it. saw the subj line & left in it my email inbox. I actually read it last night).

The email states Wii remote has shipped & will arrive between 12/9 & 12/16. "Remaining items in the order" (game) will arrive between 12/9 & 12/16.

There is nothing stated in either email correspondense that my game was cancelled. It wasn't until I actually logged into my Walmart.com account & read for myself that the game was cancelled due to "availability". I then logged into my bank account & there is a credit on 12/4 for $18 to my account (cancelled game).

So they never even took the time to tell me. Had I relied on the email I would have been waiting until 12/16 to find out that my item was cancelled. When I spoke with Customer Service this morning he told me that it wasn't cancelled do to availability, it wasn't cancelled due a price error. Yet another website "error".

How is this not bait & switch? Customer Service "Jose" happily told me today that their website had an "error" but I was welcome to now purchase my item at 39.96. That is double the price I ordered it at.

They are obviously upholding some orders (as stated by other Dissers). Walmart.com realized that they priced these too low & they are now trying to push customers to order the missing item at double the price.

Epic Mickey shipped right away and the remotes shipped today...

it shows I can return the remotes for $20 and the Epic Mickey for $15...

Yes, I have been charged for all items and money taken out of my account. I'd show you my bank account info but probably not a good idea. $85 and some change. And same as Pigletsmommy, no notification of any of this. I'm still waiting on my refund that should never have been taken out of my account.

FWIW I've never had to go through checkout with JC Penny when items were removed from my cart. I've always been notified right as I head to checkout. Sure it's a pain the butt and had annoyed me but in no way has it ever felt deceptive like the Walmart issue does. They took my money, told me I was getting my stuff and never notified me anything was amiss. And they have this too bad so sad attitude, they're not interested at all in making the customer happy. Also no sign of my refund or sign of anything really, my account looks exactly as it did when I discovered the cancellation. If any of us had been notified right away I think we'd be disappointed but not upset. I'm sorry but it's not the same thing at all.

My SuperMarioBros was cancelled. The wiimotes are still in process. I sent them an e-mail in bold letters saying do not send the wiimotes. You would think they would at least ask if you still want the wiimotes before shipping without the games. I told them I would be shopping only at Target from now on! I might have to make a call later this evening if I get the chance.

Definately call! I had the same prob with the same game. I spoke to a customer service rep and she reordered the game for me and credited me the difference so that I was only charge the original amount of the package.

The reason it showed it was cancelled on my account was that it was out of stock, that is def not the case! If they are not going to honor the package they should have cancelled everyones entire order, not just the games. That is just wrong!

Yes thats what I'm upset about most. I'm ticked that they assumed I would want that remote. I wanted the game. Its the only thing I've been able to come up with to get my SIL for christmas. And that "sale" put it in my budget. I have a VERY strict budget that I'm sticking too.

Now I've paid for shipping on a stupid wii remote I didn't even want. I have to wait for it to get here before I can even try to return it to get my money back.

I know 2 people who work at our local Walmart. Both have said that if we can not get this resolved thru customer service than to go to the store, ask to speak to a manager, and nicely ask them to fix the situation. If that doesn't work, they said to cause a scene. That is the LAST thing I want to do. But I also want Walmart to stand by their word. To sell me an item, cancel it & then try to resell it to me at double the price is HORRIBLE!

I can let go of the breath I've been holding. Our pink mini wii-mote and numchuk (how do you spell that?) have shipped. It took them forever.

And let this be a lesson learned for me. When I get a great deal on something for DD, I do not dance around the house and make a big deal about it until I have my grubby little hands on it. She asks about it all the time. HER pink wii mote. princess:

I ordered Epic Mickey with white and wii party with black on 12/16 and they all show processing still.

Goes along with my 32g Ipod at target.com that is still processing. UGH.

Update on my orders- order 1...Epic Mickey shipped, controller still processing. Order 2...controller shipped this morning,Pokepark still processing. Ugh I hate this waiting game! Just wish they'd ship or cancel!

I just looked and now my controllers have been shipped too after several days of processing.

I ordered Mario Kart & the black accessories. Both says shipped as of last night :)
