Something similar happened to my uncle when he was stricken with TB. He was very religious and the members of his church prayed for him. He recovered fully, with no evidence of ever having TB, no scar tissue on his lungs.

I am a church-going, faithful person and I do believe in miracles. But usually I am thinking of the small every day variety - a beautiful sunset, the birth of a baby, the spring.

I believe in miracles. I knew a woman who had inoperable cancer. The doctors said there was nothing they could do for her, so she turned to her friends. Everyone took up the prayer chain. The next time she went to the doctor, he couldn't find the cancer. It was gone. Instead of living a matter of months, she lived for years!

I believe in miracles and I thank God for your DD's outcome!

Two years ago my Mom was told that she had ovarian cancer. The doctors did sonograms, blood work, you name it. She went in to surgery expecting to come out with full or partial hysterectomy. The surgeon went in - looked around and said, "There is nothing wrong with your ovaries!" Took a look around and here her appendix was ready to burst. Another surgeon happened to be finished with a different surgery had to step in and take out her appendix.

You can only imagine the confusion it caused my Mom when she came out of the anesthesia and they told her they took out her appendix! Poor thing thought they had done the wrong surgery. She went home the next day!

Miracles truly happen. I'm so very happy for your DD and your family! Have a wonderful weekend.

Nothing there? Now *that* is amazing and quite a miracle!! What a wonderful thing to read to start the day. I, too, believe fully in miracles, but never expect the large ones like this -- I look at the every-day miracles, but this is one of those that just blows me away.
