The real questions are: how is the weather going to be in November? Should I stay on site there, or just do day trip(s) from my central location? I will have to do some research! And, of course, there are no park hours available yet.

When we were there we stayed in the 7th district close to the Eiffel Tower and it was an easy day trip to Versailles which I think is maybe on the same train route as DLP. The train to Versailles was only like 45 min?? But how cool would it be to stay a night at a DLP hotel! Do you know where you are going to stay in Paris yet?

Holy crap!!! Glad I didn't unsubscribe from this thread!!!! On my phone but will go back and read and comment.

Yes, I've booked a hotel in the 12th arrondisement. It has good reviews on Trip Advisor for access to transit and a decent neighborhood and is decently priced. I think it's about an hour's transit to DLP. I thought about staying on site for a day, but I think I'd rather not worry about an extra check out and check in. But maybe next time... lol!

Sounds awesome! I'd probably do the day trip thing also, having to check out of your hotel and back into another one for a night and then back again is a pain. I love Trip Advisor, it's one of my best trip planning tools. But I do find sometimes there are lots of reviewers that just like to complain about the smallest stuff. :confused3

So let me get this straight. You saw a good deal for a flight to Paris, so booked. Heck, Girl! I wanna see a good deal for a flight to ANYWHERE and just book on the spot. And now you're ticketed and have to decide on whether or not to go to DLP? Is this a rhetorical questsion? A trick question...?

This is a DUH question! Yes!!! If you want any advice at all, you should go back and read @Flossbolna 's TRs where she puts in Mega details. Seriously awesome TRs that'll give you all the info you'd ever want about DLP!

You know, I've been waiting for years to try to "get a great deal" like other folks seem to brag about. $500 Canadian for return flights to Paris that happens to coincide with my already booked week off - done! I was trying to hold out for a Disneyworld deal, but Paris was a-calling! And I waffled for a moment, worried about weather, but I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to manage to sneak in a day at Disney Paris. Thank you for the tip on @Flossbolna's TR - I will head over this weekend and get my DLP plans on!

Well, there ya go! Super happy for you, Donna! How exciting. :) I love that you won't even think twice about the weather. :)

I don't think I ever wrote a DLP trip report... I am supposed to write one after I have finished my current one.

But I have been to DLP numerous times and am happy to help with any questions!

November should give you very empty parks! And depending on when in November, you might get to see the Christmas season already, or during the first week they have some special fireworks displays.

DLP is absolutely doable as a day trip from Paris. I would not stay on site for just one night and deal with luggage. The hotels are nice, but not that special compared to the WDW hotels.

So, feel free to ask away! :-)

Wait! I was sure you had. I remember seeing a lot of photos of the differences of the parks and all. Am I going nutso? Hmmmm....

If it wasn't you... WHO was that?!

I see that you already booked a hotel. Not sure if you could still change, but on my last trip we found this lovely little boutique hotel chain that has really great prices for Paris: http://en.astotel.com We stayed at the Palm Hotel. They were so friendly, had a good breakfast and free drinks and little snacks in the afternoon. The area was really good, too, with lots of affordable nice restaurants.

On one of my PTRs I did something with old pictures of previous trips with Katharina to DLP.

Ooooh, that is a pretty good deal and the area looks nice as well. I'll have to remember that hotel chain for the next trip! :rolleyes1

Yes, Having found this makes me want to book another trip to Paris, because I finally found affordable nice accommodation!

Bonne journee Donna! I hope you have a fantastic trip!! I hope you'll do a Tar when you get back, I'd love to hear all about it! Eat lots of pretty pastries!
