I had always assumed that the best place for whale watching would be Alaska, but it is Orcas I am after this time round and they have a big resident pod of Orcas in Victoria.

I'm hoping we'll do a whale watching tour too, I've been looking at the return trips from Vancouver with whale watching in the morning, the afternoon in Victoria then Butchart Gardens from which you get the boat home. I've always wanted to see the gardens so it would be nice to combine that with whale watching.

No we didn't get the CD its so expensive, we purchased a few photos though and that was still very expensive.
