I wanted to celebrate my 30th on holiday this year & what better way then DLRP just like I did for my 21st (creature of habit).
My sister expressed an interest in taking my niece & what would be my nephew's first trip in October (as i'm looking at being in the USA with a friend for another birthday holiday
) I wouldn't be able to go with them, also my BIL doesn't like theme parks so it would be a wasted holiday for him.
Anyway I convinced my sister to go earlier & before the children go back to school, what with her being a teacher & my nephew starting school it had to be the holidays. She agreed and I started looking, then came along the 50% flash sale. After having a chat with my parents they offered to pay for both of us to go as our birthdays are 2 weeks apart for our birthdays, the kids go free. So it was booked, only for my sister to realise that my niece's passport has expired
It has been sent off so hopefully it will come in time (she isn't the most organised, think its a teacher thing as my friends are the same
)
Anyway enough of the waffling:
It will be my nephew's first time at Disney, I was fortunate to take my niece for her first trip so wanted to do the same.
It will be me: 29 (turn 30 after i'm back), 19th trip
Dsis:33, 4th trip
DNiece: 6, 3rd trip
DNephew: 3, 1st trip
As its the bank holiday weekend staying at the Sequoia Lodge, I don't expect to go on many rides but just take it all in and let the children dictate the pace. It will be about the characters, hopefully my niece will be ok, last year it took her a while to come round to seeing them unlike her 1st trip where she was really into it.
I want to see the fireworks so will have a swim & rest in the afternoons to break up the day for the kids.
I plan to hit the shops as I want to get some stuff for my new house that I have just bought. Also probably going to get a Dream AP for the extra discounts (and to go back again), already a shareholder so will introduce my sister to Salon Mickey (my dad loves the place!)
I will definately have to have a mushroom version of the Croque Monsuier & the traditional Mickey brioche
Also need to sweet talk my uncle about getting us Flexi Plus on Eurotunnel
