Next year will be our 30th and I would like some recommendations from y'all.

I want to stay onsite, want to go around October...easier for my DH to get time off work, and stay 4-5 days.
I was looking at Coronado Springs or POR.

Would also like to find unusual things for us to do. We are always running in the parks, what else to do? What have you done?

Any help/info would be appreciated! Thanks!
Lisa

It depends on what you are into:
sports: golf, fishing, RPDE, marathon, bowling, ESPN Club, WWS/ESPN Zone, etc
shopping: DTD, area outlet malls, large scale malls
drinking: Jellyrolls, Raglan Road, monorail tour of resorts, walking tour of resorts in the Boardwalk area
movies: DTD 24 screen theater some with meals served by waiters
night clubbing: Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance, Raglan Road, Citywalk
resort tours: monorail tour of resorts, Boardwalk around the lake tour of resorts, AKL/AKV
offsite: Gaylord Palms Resort, Citywalk, swamp tour

Additional:
DW and I have done our 15th, 20th, & 25th anniversaries on DCLs.

That would be amazing at Victoria and Alberts! Never thought of it!

We are not much into bar hopping, but like to have a good time. We like comedy shows, etc. I think Jelly Rolls looks like fun, have not been there.
We don't golf. I was looking into a boat ride during the fireworks.

I was also looking at renting points and staying at one of the DVC resorts close to Epcot. We want to go during the Food and Wine Fest. It is one of favorite things to do.

Oh!!! Since I am going with my niece in Feb for the Princess half marathon, do you think it would be cost effective to get an annual pass?

You have a romantic dining evening at fancy disney restaurant. I recommend Coral reef or the a restaurant at EPCOT.

We went on our honeymoon and are returning in the spring for our 10th anniversary. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and really liked the location and ease of access to downtown disney for food and shops and just wandering at night if we didn't want to hit a park. We also rented a poonton boat our last day and took it to downtown disney to finish our shopping and then louge on the river til we had to go. I don't think its cheap to do but we had a plan/package with recreation included so it wasn't any extra for us and it was a blast.

I also think the Victoria and Alberts experience might be fun if you are into that. My friends went on their honeymoon and said it was amazing.

Joining in your thread for suggestions too! We also are celebrating our 30th next year!

This is what we did last week and it was wonderful! If you plan to spend time at the F&W, that is the way to go. It is so convenient to be able to walk to and from the park and the Boardwalk area has so much going on when you just want to kick back.

DH and I are going next June for our 25th anniversary. So I'm watching this thread too. Staying at POFQ. Thought about Victoria and Alberts but didn't want to worry about bringing "dress up clothes". ;) Since we always go to DLR, just seeing WDW for the first time will be special. We plan to take a backstage tour and do the Wishes dessert.
