I made the post below before our WDW trip on 7/13. I had to make an immediate decision whether to cancel and extra room I had and rent the points or take the room, spread the family out and eat the points. I didn't get any firm commitments before I left....so I used the points. Sorry.
They can be used for a reservation within a 60 day window.
