............................

unfortunately, it's not uncommon for those who are ill and on oxygen to continue to smoke, despite the danger. I am sorry to hear that this happened.

My Aunt has emphasema (sp?) and is on oxygen. She's 73 and has smoked since she was 13. She was highly insulted when my mom, her other sister and her went to Olive Garden and they refused to seat her in smoking with her oxygen! Of course she takes her oxygen off to smoke, but they still refused her. She wanted to just leave (God forbid if she couldn't smoke after her meal) but her sister talked her into walking outside to smoke.

We're waiting for the same thing to happen to her.:rolleyes:

Oh honey, I bet that frightened you. It sure scared me when I read it. I hope it frightened some sense into your DH. Not only could he kill himself, but he could cause you to lose your home as well. :( Loads of hugs headed your way. Hope things get better.

wow C. Ann. I can not blame you for being livid - I would too. {{hugs}}

And besides the fact he could blow himself up, doesn't he realise one cancels the other out? If he keeps smoking you might as well throw away the oxy tank.

Wow, CAnn! I'm glad your husband is all right for the most part. You really do wonder what he was thinking. It makes me think of the cancer patients that continue to smoke. ((((((Hugs)))))
