Sweetie, there is absolutely no excuse for him doing that, and you have every reason to be angry and worried. .


I apologize for not knowing the whole situation- but just from what you say here- as traumatic it might be, perhaps you are right in considering placing him in a facility where his behavior is more controlled. .

I'm sorry to hear about what your husband did. Thank God it wasn't more serious, and no one else was hurt, and there wasn't damage to your house. Hopefully, he learned his lesson, and will be more careful in the future.

Here's a story you can tell your husband about what can happen when you smoke around an oxygen tank. About a month or two ago here in Boston, a young girl was killed in a fire that was started when here father was smoking near his oxygen tank, and it exploded. The father got out of the house, but his daughter was trapped. There were cars illegally parked, and the fire trucks couldn't get to her house as quickly as they should have been able to. But it all started with a man smoking around his oxygen tank.
