30% off discount question

If I'm planning a trip for 8/8 through 8/17 and the 30% discount begins on 8/15, am I eligible for the discount? Just wondering how that works!

RO discounts are date specific, so you would only be eligible for the discount for 8/15 through 8/17, but only if you booked 2 separate reservations as your check in date must be within the dates of the promo. If your check in date is prior to the start of a promo and you book 1 reservation, the discount wouldn't apply to any nights. You would have to book 1 reservation for 8/8-8/15 and then a 2nd reservation for 8/15-8/17 to take advantage of the discount for those few nights.

With a room only discount you can make One Reservation but only the dates Included in the Room Only Discount will be discounted, therest of your Dates would be at Rack Rate
If you book something like the Free Dining Promotion, your check in date must be included to qualify for the Free Dining, it would then be valid for your length of stay. If you were to check in on a date that was not included, you "could" make two reservations so you would have the Free Dining for at least part of your stay. The same would apply for any "Package" promotion or offer

If the OP's check in date is prior to the start of the promo and she books 1 reservation, the discount would not apply at all. The check in date must fall within the dates of the promo to have the discount applied to any or all nights (depending on how many nights are included in the promo). The current promo starts 8/15, so if the OP's trip is 8/8-8/17 and she checks in on 8/8, the discount would not apply to any nights since the check in date is before the start of the promo.

Sorry OP,Hope you don't mind another question related to the 30% discount for late August.......when I price out a room with this discount, then add tickets (4 day base) it looks like there is a discount on the ticket price as well. Is this the case? I really wanted to book a room only, and avoid the package restrictions. ( May have to cancel, if DD makes the volleyball team). But when I look at the ticket prices (buy on arrival day) or through Undercover Tourist, it looks like the tickets are more money.....$15.00 per ticket..
Has anyone else found this, can you confirm, there is a ticket discount when making this late summer offer a package.
This is a last minute trip and just trying to crunch the numbers.
